Great spot!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cool spot, neighborhood was great too with lots to do. Dog friendly, so we enjoyed having our pets with us. Not much of a mountain view since the tree growth was blocking it all, but still a great experience. The host did a great job of providing everything you need to get started. My only constructive feedback was that the cabin smelled of THICK smoke. As soon as you open the door you're hit with a strong smoke smell. Burnt logs were left in the fireplace with ash. After removing that and shoveling all the ash out, it helped the smell.

Nice place as advertized

Good stay but disappointed that the pool was closed as it was one of the main reasons we chose this place and we were informed just the day before our stay. Also a little disappointing that when I asked about arriving an hour early, figuring it was a good trade off for no pool, they were going to charge an extra 50.

Quaint little mountain gettaway

Had a great stay. Especially loved the screened in deck. It was a bit of a hike to our festival in Wilkesboro - but that isn't the fault of the house - the house was great.

Short but sweet

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had to cut trip short due to Hurricane Helene and was so disappointed to leave. Cute cabin in a beautiful neighborhood. Took us about 30 minutes to Boone or Blowing Rock and the entrance to parkway was nearby. The management company was very responsive and gracious. So sorry the hurricane has affected their area but am sure they will be back on track soon.

We appreciated the screened in porch and ate dinner out there every night. The communication with the property owner/manager was smooth and easy. Check out and check in were easy. The internet connection was not very good, but the property description is very up front about that. This is definitely a place to get away from it all!

Great relaxing weekend

This spot was perfect for us. We just wanted a nice, quiet cabin in the mountains' to relax. Great property. Swimming pool on site, hiking trails, 20 mins to Boone. Susan was a great host. We Loved it.

Great visit!

The cabin was perfect for 3 adults. It was very clean upon check in. Everything we needed in the kitchen was exactly what we needed to make meals. The screened in deck was so nice and peaceful. A/c was wonderful as it was very warm when we visited and kept the cabin cool. We were blessed with seeing deer and wild turkeys and their babies on the side yard. Boone and West Jefferson were a short trip away but we enjoyed most of our days were spent relaxing at the cabin. Susan, the property mgr was quick to answer any questions. Cant wait to book another stay!

Great mountain stay

We really enjoyed our stay , everything thing was just right in cabin and bed slept great , we really wish that we could have extended our stay in this cabin, would stay here again !!!!!!!

Wonderful stay at Horseshoe Haven!

I had a wonderful stay at Horseshoe Haven in October 2023. The house was very clean and welcoming. Ms. Chaney, the property manager, was excellent with answering any questions that I had and with overall prompt, helpful communication. Right now I am imagining being back at Horseshoe Haven, relaxing on the fabulous screened-in porch that looks into the woods and mountains. A++!! Highly recommended.
