The property location is breathtaking - pictures can't do it justice. Every afternoon & evening we sat on the deck and enjoyed the sun and the sunset, with waves crashing below. The unit was very clean and very well outfitted - the kitchen had everything you can think of, pots, pans, toaster, utensils, etc. and there were plenty of good quality towels and supplies. There were five challenges/areas of improvement that renters should be aware of 1) The master bedroom is loft open to the living room and kitchen below, with no way to close it off - odd to have no privacy in a master bedroom, 2) none of the windows in the Master bedroom could be opened, they were all fixed windows, which is odd as all the heat in the un-airconditioned house rises up to the bedroom with no way to cool it off, 3) there is no broadcast or cable TV, just Netflix and Hulu, so that means no news, no live sports, none of the 99% of things people watch on TV, and 4) The hot and cold lines are mixed up in the downstairs shower - we thought there was no hot water in that shower so we had all four of us trying to share the upstairs shower, which was a problem. 5) The house is managed by a property management company that has no ability to solve anything. When you call the number you get a call-center somewhere far away. If you call "after hours" then there is no available property manager, which is absurd, because vacationers are usually touring around during the day, and the problems happen at night. When we discovered that there was only internet TV, I wanted to set up Amazon Prime or another service, but the TV had a blocking password that nobody knew how to fix. So I missed the sports I wanted to see that weekend, and we just made our selections from Netflix. If these are things you can live with, the property is a good value and a lot of fun.
