Relaxing and restful

This is our second time staying here. It’s a very clean place with ample space. The couch is comp y the beds are firm and the views from each room are fantastic! We loved watching the sunset fromThe deck and the upstairs observation room was nice when it was too cold out. Host communication was great. Had no trouble checking in or out. The kitchen is well stocked to make a meal. Would stay here again.

Amazing ocean views

Enjoyed the amazing and wide ocean views from each room in the house. We particularly like the upstairs crows nest room for reading or hanging out. Also spent afternoons on the patio with the nice warm sun and the ocean waves - like being in the beach without the sand. The lookout by the cliff was also a nice touch and I appreciate being able to walk to it barefoot without getting sand or dirt on my feet. A very nice home for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful home right on bluff

This home was well appointed. Kitchen was very well equipped, Living room had lots of seating, the Wi-Fi was fast. the deck across the entire back of the house provided lots of room to enjoy the ocean. Outdoor seating was more than ample. Our only suggestion would be to buy a new king size bed for the upper bedroom. The current one is reaching the end of its life.

Great view

Super clean. Very spacious. Amazing views of the ocean. Had everything we needed to make breakfast. Can use Apple air play w tv. All bedrooms had a view of the water. The patio was fantastic to watch the sun set. Great location close to Town but not in the hustle and bustle of it. We would stay again.

Views for Days!

The location of this property is stunning. You can see the coastline in both directions and the stairs to the platform below the lot provides great viewing of the seals in the cove below. The home is within walking distance of the wonderful Mendocino Botanic Garden which you should not miss! The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools we needed to prepare our meals. We will be back!

Breathtaking View

This was our 2nd visit to Sunset Cove. We'll keep coming back. Super clean property, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and the views are incredible. We spent hours gazing out at the ocean. It's a short drive to Mendocino and close to whatever you need in Fort Bragg.

Sunset Cove experience

First of all, Vacasa does one great job! The communication was perfect and they are extremely helpful. The property was spot on. The house is super clean. The view is spectacular semi off grid which makes it even better. Highly recommend.

The view is stunning

This house worked out perfect for us luckily but had we brought children it would’ve been challenging because the master bedroom was upstairs which is OK but it was a loft which they did not mention and the photographs did not indicate. So whoever slept in the master bedroom didn’t get to shut the door Because there was no door. I reviewed the pictures in detail it was absolutely not indicated that the master bedroom would be open to the living area down below. that’s my only complaint. When you look at the pictures online they are definitely trying to hide the fact that there’s an opening. My husband worked there all week and it was fantastic because he had a private little glassed in porch with windows and could leave the windows open and listen to the ocean or if it got chilly could close them. Overall the house really is nice. I would recommend show me that at the loft is there. The stairway has very small steps.

Relaxing Beautiful seaside home

This is the second time my adult sisters and I have stayed at this Oceanside home with my 86 year old dad. They had updated the furniture and kitchen appliances since, but It was great before. The attention to detail and cleanliness is terrific. Will probably be back again in the future. 😁

Stay at Sunset Cove

Great, peaceful location with a beautiful private ocean view. The house was clean, well maintained, with modern appliances, and stable Hi-speed internet. The only intruders we’re a family of deer that stopped by in the evening for dinner.

Beautiful Views

We had a great stay! The house was great - master bedroom only had power to half the room and the bathroom sinks were clogged but the views from the house are stunning and town is only a short drive away!

Great get-away spot

Well-appointed home, as advertised, with amazing ocean views. Lovely Botanic Gardens within walking distance and many parks and dining options within a few miles' drive. However, we found it hard to leave this excellent perch above the ocean!

Sunset Cove

Excellent and private location. House was well-maintained and very clean. Views were spectacular. We booked another four days in October while we were still there.
