Opening the gate and enjoy. Fantastic views, fun property with lots to do. Owners were great to work with. Recommend this place especially in the summer to use all the toys, canoe, kayaks.

This was an amazing property to spend the week at. Great location! The views were spectacular. Kayaking on the river was a real treat. The host has great communication and made the whole experience a breeze! The home was well equipped for everything we could have wanted! We can't wait to go back!

This VRBO is amazing!! Such a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the busy world around us. Great home, amazing views, and the property, river, and beach are BEAUTIFUL. The kayaks really make this place special as you adventure around and can kayak back home to a restful cabin for relaxation afterwards. Will be booking again .

Location, location, location! This Ocean View retreat is exactly what we needed to recharge and relax. There are different views from every aspect of the property with its multiple decks and firepit area. It’s only a short drive to the dog friendly beach, and you can literally kayak (provided by host) to the ocean or across the river to explore the dunes. The house is a bit quirky but has a new tv room, remodeled bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen. The all glass room with the bed was great for napping but not really conducive for a third guest, unless you want to get up at dawn, because there are no curtains. Overall, the house would not be suitable for toddlers as it is not child proofed and the spacing between the deck rails is too large for their safety.We had adults only and really enjoyed our stay!

We had the absolute best time at this amazing Fort Bragg cottage! Honestly, the views are unreal. Sitting out on the deck with a morning coffee or watching the sunset was definitely the highlight of our trip.The location couldn't be better. It is so peaceful and quiet, yet super close to everything. We loved being able to walk right out the door to beautiful beaches and coastal trails, while still being just a quick drive into town to grab food or explore.Our hosts were wonderful and truly made us feel right at home. They were so welcoming. The cottage itself was spotless, super cozy, and had everything we could possibly need.We completely fell in love with this place and already want to vacation here again! If you are heading to the coast, do yourself a favor and book this spot.

This is such a wonderful home to stay at. Very rustic and charming. Very clean, relaxing and the views are great. We loved the fun collection of salt and pepper shakers. We will be making this home part of our next trip for sure.

Absolutely beautiful setting on the river and beyond is the ocean waves. It’s very relaxing both outside on the decks or inside where you have views of the ocean and river. We hope to return.

Long weekend getaway

It’s a great location and views. Bonfire was fun, and we walked over the bridge to ten mile beach. My only criticism would be that there were ants everywhere. We were cleaning them off counters, furniture and even in the bed. Bring your own water too. But it was a fun little place to stay in overall!

We come here for the location and ambience. Our 5th visit; the weather was cooperative, the bird watching was exceptional, the escape from reality was therapeutic.

wonderful retreat!!

wonderful place for a retreat and recharge, rustic, secluded and beautiful yard, basically your own botanical garden with ocean veiw. Kayaking to an empty beach and enjoying the fire pit were highlights.. just a beautiful slice of coastal heaven..
