Charming villa with PRIVATE POOL, blossoming garden and sea & Etna views

Villa Due Leoni är en charmig villa på två våningar med privat pool och trädgård belägen på en citrongård halvvägs i Catania och Taormina och på bara en km från havet och byn Riposto där du kan hitta färsk fisk varje dag.

Trädgården har omvandlats till ett riktigt paradis med palmer, perfekta gräsmattor och en fruktträdgård med alla slags fruktträd. Från terrassen och poolen (10 x 10 meter, djupa 140 cm) har du en fantastisk utsikt mot kusten och på Etna-berget, ofta puffande. Poolen är öppen året runt.

VILLA DUE LEONI BESTÄMMAR AV:
- Bottenvåning: ett stort vardagsrum med matbord, bäddsoffa, vardagsrum och öppen spis, separat kök och toalett. Från vardagsrummet och köket får du tillgång till trädgården.

- Första våningen: tre sovrum med dubbelsäng, en stor korridor / sovrum med två våningssängar (fyra bäddar), två badrum och en stor terrass med utsikt över Etna och havet. Trappor ansluter terrassen till trädgården nedan. Terrassen har en veranda med ett stort matbord.

Omg this house and the hospitality by the host was top notch. Our experience has become a memory for life, living in the middle of an ecological garden where lemontrees surround you is beyond our expectation. Imagine waking up in the middle of the garden of Eden. The localisation of the property is very strategic if you want to visit great beaches, Taormina and the surrounding cities. The host was one of a kind, making sure that our visit would not lack anything. We are allready planning our next visit.

Great spot and a wonderful host

The villa has a rustic charm and the outdoor patio area was a great space for all the family and the kids loved all the fruit trees. Really helpful that the pool and steps are gated off to keep safe for the children. Giovanni was super helpful and easy to contact. Great time had by all :-)

We had the most amazing time staying at this fantastic villa. Mr & Mrs Foti and family were warm, welcoming and kind, nothing was too much trouble. They even provided the most delicious home made wine and fresh fruit and vegetables. The pool was a real highlight and the villa itself was beautiful. Would definitely return.

Thank you for a great stay! The terrace and pool were amazing. As was the hospitality, with several kind free gifts, fresh vegetables from the farmer, nice organic white wine, plumbs and lemons. We had some great excursions to mount Etna, Taormina, Alcantara and some nice dinners in the neighborhood. Thanks again!!!

Unique family-owned Lemon Orchard Farm opened to us with all its charming objects, painting, china and wonderful terrace with 360-degree view on beautiful garden, lemon trees, sea and the Etna volcano. Perfect for a relaxing winter vacation: we enjoyed the Sicilian sun during the day, the cozy fireplaces in late afternoon and tons of freshly squeezed lemon, orange and grapefruit juice all week long.

The house, the location and the whole atmosphere are a dream. Unfortunately, we were only there for a week and would have liked to stay longer. It was a beautiful house to spend 6 days with out family. Its importavgift to have car so you can go on trips from the house. The outside kitchen and the pool was amazing! The only thing that can be better is if they had lite more instruments for the kitchen. Other wise a great house and garden!

What a beautiful place! We were two families with 5 children 8-14 years old, and it was just perfect all over. Really an oasis, very lush and extremely well kept gardens with lots of flowers, impressive lemon orchard and just so very tranquil. Impressive house as well with lots of history and rustic charm. Very comfortable! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and really wanted to make us feel at home. Lovely, clean pool and great views. We highly recommend this place!

If you want to relax by the pool to the sound of running water, while enjoying the view of Mount Etna, in a wonderful and huge villa that caters for everything you can possibly need, with wonderful hosts Mr Foti and family who couldn't have been more helpful or kind or generous .... then this is the place for you! Wonderful location, safe and quiet and tranquil in the lemon groves, ideal location very near to the shops, sea front, harbour ....just lovely. Can heartily recommend booking to stay here, we will be back for sure.

The house was more rustic than expected, and it would have been nice to know a caretaker liver on site. Not a problem, but it would have been nice to know. View of Mt. Etna was stunning, and the pool was maintained well. Surrounding area was a bit intimidating, and the entrance gates took some work. But overall, a nice place and very attentive hosts.

We had a great stay at the Due Leone house and would happily come back again. We were two families staying with five kids aged 2-7 y/o. We had no issues in this regard. The place felt very safe for kids. The pool, for example, can be locked. The location is good. Riposto - the nearby small town - has what you need in terms of groceries, food market, ice cream, etc. It’sa very short drive. Otherwise Mount Etna, Siracusa, Noto are all a distance that can be done as a daytrip. The house is beautiful and surrounded by a big lemon grove. The furniture and beds are not luxurious but were definitely acceptable. We didn’t miss anything. The hosts were so kind and responsive. We HIGHLY recommend this place.

Not quite what we hoped for

The exterior of the house is beautiful, with a nice garden with fresh fruits and vegetables. Lovely view to Etna and the ocean. The pool and outdor area is also really nice. But the indoor areas unfortunately didn´t quite live up to our expectations. There are two kitchens in the house, one on each floor. It was most convinient to use the one upstairs as this has directly access to the terrasse. But this kitchen was not well equipped so we ended up carrying all the dirty dishes to the kitchen downstairs where the dishwasher was placed. There are two bathrooms, but one of them is useless. There was a musty smell, and the shower was, sorry to say, quite disgusting. We ended up using just one of the bathrooms, and that can be crowdy for a party of 9... The beds that are not placed in one of the three bedrooms are bunkbeds that are located in the hallway. It is possible to close some doors, but you have to walk through the hallway to get to the bedrooms. The people sleeping in the bunkbeds will therefore have limited privacy. A walk to the city of Riposto to have dinner is lovely, is is so close by that you do not need to use your car. We recommend to have your dessert at the little booth at the town square, try their granita, it is amazing. We also recommend to have a guided tour to Etna, that was one of the highlights of our stay. All in all a very nice stay, but be aware of the drawbacks of the interior in the house.

Die Villa ist traumhaft gelegen in einer Zitronenplantage, blitzblank sauber. Giovanni war ein perfekter Gastgeber, äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns per WhatsApp auf dem Laufenden gehalten, Wein und Zitronen vorbeigebracht. War immer zur Stelle, wenn wir ihn brauchten oder Fragen hatten. Ein ausgezeichneter Service! Die Villa selbst ist aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, liebevoll möbliert und bietet alles, was man mit einer Gruppe von 8-10 Personen braucht. Blitzblank sauber, Video überwacht, mit Terrassen und einer perfekten Außenküche und einem sauberen Pool. Wirklich einzigartig und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke, Giovanni!

Notre a expérience a été globalement exceptionnelle. Le lieu est singulier, romantique et bien placé. L’accueil est généreux et efficace. L’hospitalité et les conseils de Giovanni sont précieux. Nous y avons passé les 10 derniers jours de décembre en famille. Tout le monde était enchanté, on s’est même baigné plusieurs fois dans la piscine ! Une seule petite complexité : les 2 cuisines. On passe un peu de temps à aller chercher dans l’autre, ce qui manque dans l’une et vice versa. Question d’organisation et d’habitude ! Nous y retournerions, en été cette fois, avec joie !
