Beautiful unit! Fully equipped with anything and everything you could possibly need. Everything was immaculate & sparkled! Bed was very comfortable. Pam & Dave were both warm and hospitable hosts & went out of their way to insure that our experience was enjoyable & relaxing. Would highly recommend!!!

Peaceful and convenient

The owner originally wanted to meet us at the unit but in the end left a key, which we preferred after a long day of travel. We were looking for lodging not a hosted property. This place was two levels above spotless. Wow! The owners have thoughtfully designed a small place to be very handy. Literally everything (except the orange shampoo in the white bottle) was white. That’s not my personal taste but it was a fine choice for someone else to make. There is an excess, per my personal taste again, of tchotchkes, on every possible surface. This led us to move them aside so we could put down our toothbrushes and books and dinner plates. Not a crisis by any means but it was cluttered. We loved the outdoor spaces and the beautiful blooming window boxes and the easy walk “downtown.”

We chose to stay in Mahone Bay so we could explore the area where five generations of my mother's family lived and worked as shipbuilders. We enjoyed wine tasting at a winery and visited a museum. Our accommodations were clean and cozy.

This was the cutest little spot, beautifully decorated and clean. The town was so picturesque and all in walking distance of little shops and restaurants. Lovely little sailboats dotted along the shore. Nice outdoor sitting area with bbq. Definitely would stay again if I come back to Mahone Bay. Pam & David were awesome hosts very friendly.

Perfect accommodations located centrally in Mahone Bay. Just a few blocks from the shops, restaurants and the amazing views. Close to Lunenburg, Chester, and Halifax isn't too far to spend an afternoon at the Harbourfront. Highly reccommend booking at Mahone Bay Hide-Away.

This was a gem of an accommodation! It was beautifully decorated and designed with all sorts of tasteful decor items but there was a ton of storage space for all of our needs. They had everything it was so well equipped, nothing was missed in the design and layout. It was just as comfortable as it was aesthetically beautiful. We give this a 10 out of 10!
