Pirate ship

The grand kids loved the pirate ship. There are no window coverings in the master bedroom and the main living areas, felt like being in a fish bowl.

Family Thanksgiving

We enjoyed the 3 levels for sleeping arrangements. Good gathering areas even in snowy weather. Everything worked great! We enjoyed our family Thanksgiving with 3 of our married kids and their families !!!

Beautiful lake view home in the Reserve @ Bear Lake

This is an upscale beautiful home in the Reserve, Bear Lake’s nicest neighborhood. There is plenty of room & a big open kitchen & eating area ( we only had 10 but you could easily sleep & eat with 18-20 or more?) The north beach area is only a 10-15 minute drive away. About the same to the main lake Marina & Garden City. There are 2 pools & a hot tub walking distance from the home. It was a quiet relaxing place & we felt very safe

Great for Family Reunion

This pirate ship sealed my legacy as a grandma! The kids played and climbed on it all day long, until we called them into eat and/or go to bed. The house was spacious for a group of 24, large kitchen for cooking and serving a large group, plenty of large cooking and serving dishes, large refrigerator to store all the food we brought (we prepared 6 days worth of meals) with only a little having to remain in coolers for a couple of days. Lovely view of the lake, big property, nice community pool and hot tub. Great time for my family.

Good property, good location, well stocked. My wife was uncomfortable in the bathroom with no blinds. I know it is just fields but she hated it. They need to set up a, wash your feet, station by the door. It would be good for the guest and help keep the property clean.

Beautiful gathering place for family

Beautiful spacious well laid out home. We loved the house and spacious yard. Kids so enjoyed Pirate Ship. Enjoyed access to beach, swimming pool, hot tub etc. We plan to return. Just a couple suggestions—dish soap bottle too small to last for our needs. We needed a hand held mixer. A fire pit would be awesome. Loved the beautiful views of the lake and hillsides out all the beautiful windows!

Pros and cons

My family got together, as we do every year, for a family reunion of sorts. There were four families staying together in the home. We have stayed at many homes in Fish Haven over the past five years. This one was not my favorite but got the job done. Pros: Location is great, right by the entrance and within walking distance to the pool. House has beautiful views of the lake. The pirate ship is fun and novel. Access to the Reserve private beach and the clubhouse pools. AC was sufficient for house and sleeping comfort. Cons: No propane in grill. Water heater insufficient for house size and needs. All the specific and strange rules posted all over the house with a label maker. (i.e. no wet sunscreen on the pirate ship??) No salt and pepper, usually a standard supply. 10 towels total in the house, when the party was 17 people. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the management company was very responsive but I don’t think I would book this house again. The bedrooms are small and the whole house feels somewhat claustrophobic.

Great place but not good value

Grandkids loved the pirate ship and had the best time playing on it. Large house so it accommodated all 22 of us. Spacious with plenty of room. Deck was great place to hang out and talk while enjoying the view. But washing machine didn’t work, no window covering in the master bath, Wi-Fi access was sporadic, the rope swing broke while our 9 year old grandchild was on it.

Great place, slightly mislead by photos

This is an amazing home, unfortunately we felt like some of the photos were a tad misleading. The property was amazing and we all had a good time, but they have really widened the lens on the main room shots. We excepted a grand main room and in reality it was quaint and somewhat cozy. The pirate ship was amazing and the grand kids spent hours playing on it. That's the feedback though, for nearly 5 figures for 4 nights we expected it to be slightly larger in the main gathering areas.

Fabulous Home in Beautiful Bear Lake!

Lots of room for everyone to spread out! Great basement where teenagers could hang out and play pool. Kitchen had plenty of seating. Vacasa was very attentive and responsive to our requests. Loved it!! Thanks so much!

Beautiful property and private beach access was a highlight!

Pool and private beach access was a game changer! Property/home/furnishings were beautiful, moose walked through the yard a few times, gated access made us feel safe leaving boats/toys out uncovered at night. Kids loved the Pirate ship structure and foosball. Bring shampoo/conditioner/soap for your crew, there wasn’t enough.

Just what we wanted

This was the perfect home for our family reunion. It is extremely well stocked with kitchen and bath items as well as games. There was plenty of room and the staff were extremely helpful in answering our questions. We hope the lake comes back up next year!
