Welcome to Lazy Bear Lakehouse! We purchased this home in September of 2020 after falling in love with Bear Lake. We found this to be the perfect gathering place for family and friends and are excited to offer it as an amazing stay for your next large gathering.

This gated-community home with 5,000 square feet, 7 bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms (that sleeps 38!) offers gorgeous lake views, modern amenities, and plenty of creature comforts for relaxation and play. Enjoy playing pool, foosball, air hockey or watching a movie on one of 5 flat screen TVs. Enjoy breathtaking views from your own private Bullfrog hot tub on the back patio. The property also sits just across the street from the clubhouse, offering two heated swimming pools, water slide, hot tub, basketball court, tennis court, pickleball court, and playground. The outdoor pools are open seasonally from Memorial Day to early October.

Start the day watching the sunrise over the lake right from the master bedroom or deck. For all-season outdoor play, enjoy The Reserve’s 1800-foot private beach, miles of ATV and snowmobile trails accessible right from the property, or skiing at nearby Beaver Mountain. Come home to enjoy sitting by the fireplace or a mug of hot chocolate by heaters on the deck while you unwind and watch the turquoise water. Book your family reunion or corporate retreat here for unforgettable memories of beautiful Bear Lake.

This is a great house for large gatherings. The 2 very large rooms filled with numerous bunk beds were a big hit with my grandkids.Location is ideal, beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. The clubhouse with two pools and a hot tub was fun. The private beach was great, but crowded. We had a few minor issues that Heidi quickly resolved. We hope to stay at this great place again.

House fit our family of 12 adults and 14 children well. The games of billiards, foosball, air hockey and ping pong filled our evenings after long days at the beach. Great kitchen and lots of dining area. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Awesome family trip

This house was so fun! We love staying in The Reserve. The teenagers and kids stayed busy playing pool, ping pong, air hockey, and hot tubbing. It was nice to have entertainment at the house! The Reserve private beach was under water, but we still had fun at the north beach. We would stay here again!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. So many indoor play options! The kitchen also had all the small appliances and large cook pans/ bowls needed for our large family group. The large dining table was awesome! Our kids loved the space room!

Best VRBO and best reunion ever!!!

The house was amazing as was the view. Everyone from the youngest to oldest commented on how fun it was. We are scheduled to do it all again next year. The closeness to the pools and access to the private beach was the best. Thank you so much !!!

Love this cabin!

We had such a great stay! The listing was very informative and the cabin is set up so well for big families! The owner was organized and helpful and responded to all my questions so quickly! She even answered questions by text! The check in and check out was smooth and the cabin itself was stocked so well with everything we needed. Very organized, very clean and so fun! Thanks for providing such a great place to stay and making it a smooth process, would definitely recommend! (And we’re going to come back!)

Pleasant stay at Fish Haven.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home at The Reserve in Fish Haven. The home accommodated our four children with their respective families of adults, teenagers, and young children. They utilized the pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, and the hot tub. We used the grill, which was large enough to cook larger quantities of food. With the inside table and the outside table we were able to seat everyone for a meal. The convenient location near the clubhouse was a big hit with everyone, offering quick access to the gym, pickleball court, basketball court, tennis court, and the pool.

Beautiful home, great communication, neighborhood not for motorcycles/atvs

It was a beautiful home and the beach was amazing too. I would highly recommend this. We had teenage kids who like motorcycles and we were unaware of the rules (and honestly I think some of the home owners just DO NOT like motorcycles and so they liked to complain not matter what)...if you have this type of family just be aware to make sure you drive super slow and find other places to ride. They will complain if they hear the motorcycles it seemed.. There was also an old man that lived across from the play ground that would yell at the kids too. The HOA president even told me he would not allow motorcycles if he had his way...so mostly just advising those who want to come with motorcycles to be aware and know what to expect. If you are just there for the house and the lake..hands down a winner!!! All of these things have nothing to do with the home or the owners...it was amazing and we loved it.

Check-in was seamless and stress-free, which got our trip off to a great start. The kitchen was excellent—well-stocked, clean, and perfect for preparing meals during our stay. We also had no issues with the Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay connected when needed.We loved the clubhouse, especially the two pools that our grandchildren absolutely enjoyed. The private beach was nearby and easy to access, adding to the convenience and relaxation of our stay.Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

slopping front stairs

Everything was wonderful. The best in our history of rental property stays. However, there is a falling hazard in the design of the front steps. Especially for seniors. The east end of the bottom step falls away/slants down. Gives your brain the sensation of falling since it is not like the others. The rise of the step is fine but the step is not fully perpendicular to the riser. The step slopes away. Please fix this before someone falls because of uneven steps.

Love this place!

Such a great cabin to gather at! It is set up so well and always very well taken care of. Lots of space and well thought out beds and bedrooms. Lots of fun things like a hot tub and air hockey and plenty of space to just hang out all day. Great owners and communication. We had a blast. Thank You! :)

Great Family Reunion

This place was perfect for our family reunion. All together we ended up with 35 at the property, 14 adults and 21 children. We were all accommodated. The property was great! Even had plenty of silverware, plates, pots, pans, etc. to cook meals and serve all of us. The kids loved the pools and there was room on the lawn for games, etc. The view was breathtaking. There was plenty of room for parking including 5 motorcycles, 8 cars and a boat. A really great place.

We fell in love with Bear Lake because of its beautiful turquoise waters, amazing outdoor adventures, and the quaint small-town vibe. At this property, we found an incredible view of the lake, the ability to gather up to 38 friends and family in a comfortable place, and a five-minute walk to the lodge's heated pools, hot tubs and sport courts. Pickleball in particular is a new family favorite. The cabin itself offers endless entertainment options with 5 flat screen TVs, pool table, foosball, ping pong, and air hockey. Outside, we love playing by the lake, in the lake, or on the lake. The spring and fall allow us to enjoy more of the beautiful outdoor terrain here with great hiking, biking, and motor-sport options. Winter promises great adventure with skiing, sledding, and snowmobiling. All in all, we found this cabin to be the perfect home base for all-season family adventure.

In our humble opinion, this property offers the very best of Bear Lake, with quick drives to the beaches, marina, ski resort, golf course, and restaurants, while also having immediate access to hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails right from the front door. The heated swimming pools and sports courts have amazing views of the lake and the lodge is a classy gathering place for any retreat. All around, this property is a perfect place to gather, rest, and play with family and friends.
