Exklusiv reträtt på trädgårdsnivå i de lugna kustkullarna i Marin County. "Mountain View Retreat" och allt som visas på bilderna, inklusive poolen, badtunnan och de expansiva däcken, ligger alla på den lägre trädgårdsnivån i ett tvåvåningshus. Gästerna har exklusiv tillgång till allt som beskrivs och ses på fotona. Tillflyktsortet är enbart för din användning under din vistelse. Den övre nivån "huvudhus" är ägare ockuperat men har stängts av från den lägre nivån för att ge maximal integritet.

Sovrummet har en lyxigt bekväm king size-säng med mjuka sängkläder med hög tråd. Köksköket är välutrustat med alla nya Keurig kaffebryggare, mikrovågsugn, fyra gasbrännare, ett litet kyl / frys, mixer, brödrost och en mängd köksredskap, redskap, koppar och glas. Kaffe, te och några grunder tillhandahålls också. Det finns också gott om färska handdukar inklusive stora badlakan för poolen.

Observera: det finns en kort trappuppsättning som tar dig till din ytterdörr, så att rullstolar inte är tillgängliga.

Lovely stay!

This location in Fairfax was a truly remarkable oasis. My husband and I enjoyed soaking in the sunshine and long evening chats in the hot tub while star gazing. Lovely, clean space for a getaway!

Beautiful property in amazing location

We had a lovely stay. Very spacious outside, great pool and hot tub. Beautiful view of Mt. Tam. Walking distance to downtown Fairfax. Can definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Wonderful rental

Very much enjoyed our week in this rental. Everything was just as advertised. This is definitely a mountain location—a steep road up but it was manageable and the view was worth it. Fairfax is a great little town to stay in. Awesome shower, good mattress. Love that there was a real coffee maker along with the keurig. Kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you!

Quiet Paradise

Vicki was a fantastic host and her property (and the surrounding area) is just as beautiful as the pictures. Highly recommend staying at the mountain view retreat, whether just for rest and relaxation by the pool while taking in the mountain views or as a home base for your Marin County, wine country, or even SF centric activities.

Absolutely Stellar

Everything about this place was just perfect. The view the pool, the Jacuzzi, the steam bath, everything. It was absolutely so clean and well stocked with everything from spices to little snacks, a beautiful table setting, every bit of equipment we could possibly want, super comfy bed and couch. The home itself is so well built and well designed, with stunning views over the valley. Vicky was easy to reach and prompt with her responses. I can’t think of enough nice things to say about this place. Maybe of the more than 100 vacation rentals that we’ve been in over the last five or seven years, this was the best.

This garden apartment has plenty of room to stretch out and such beautiful views from the deck. The property manager could not be more pleasant or more helpful. Wonderful stay!

Great Stay

Amazing location and quiet! Close enough to San Francisco (about 45 minute drive) to enjoy the sites during the day and enjoy a quiet evening/night away from the hustle and bustle. Relaxing in the hot tub and the shower/sauna at the end of the day was amazing! Vicki was very attentive to any questions we had prior and during our stay.

Beautiful views/great location

Beautiful view, very close to town. Great location!!! Road is a bit tricky to get up to house, definitely need to go slow and pay attention for oncoming cars. Host was great, really didn’t require much while there since we were doing a lot of sightseeing.

Very nice property and views

We enjoyed our stay at the Mountain View Retreat. FYI it's on and up a Mountain so be prepared for a short up hill drive. The directions were good, the check in process okay. The more you do the drive and entry the easier it will become. Getting there with the use of a personal (spouse) co-pilot will really help. Upon arriving you will have a private lower-level unit to yourself with a beautiful view, large patio setup with grill, pool (too cold and rainy for our stay), wonderful hot tub, comfy bed, large shower and 2 tv's. Kitchen was adequate for two people with enough plates, silverware and glasses. Stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven included but with a smaller half size fridge. No dishwasher but it was relaxing to hand wash our dishes. Would stay again especially if you wanted to hunker down and unwind for a few days.

We loved staying in Vicki’s home. She is so welcoming. Her pool apartment is lovely. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the outdoor seating was so relaxing.We sat outside each morning having our coffee taking in the beautiful view and watching the hummingbirds. Marin Paradise

We had an amazing stay at Vicki’s. Communication was easy. The location is perfect: Fairfax is a sweet town, close to Point Reyes, Bolinas and other Marin highlights. SF is only 40 minutes away. The apartment was very pleasant, bed extremely comfortable. Deck with bbq delightful. And the view over the pool fabulous. We very much hope to stay here again.

Magical retreat in the hills

This spot is a complete gem. The grounds are immaculate, peaceful and designed so you can just relax and be still. Yet, the town center is a mere 15 minute walk and has lots of wonderful restaurants, charming shops and an incredible coffee shop. Within 30 minutes you can be hiking among the redwoods or hanging out in Berkeley/Oakland area. We would absolutely come back again. The space, amenities and location make this one of the best rentals we've ever stayed at. Thank you so much!

One with Nature

Absolutely loved our stay in Mt. View retreat. A private sanctuary with an infinity pool that looks down into the valley below and across the mountian. Hummingbirds flutter around the lovely gardens. Inside you will find attention to detail in regard to design and decor. Comfortable bed, well equiped kitchen, greeted with snacks! Close to San Fran, Sasalito, Muir Woods. Great Place to Relax

We came out here from the East Bay for a low-key weekend trip. We swam every day and stargazed in the hot tub every night. Saw the tail end of the Perseids shower and a meteor so low we thought it might actually touch down. Hard to find a place with a mix of excellent food 5 minutes from vibrant wildlife but Fairfax has got it. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing view. Was perfect for us.

We had four nights at Mountain View Retreat. The property was in a great location with great proximity to all the places we wanted to go. Beaches, town and Sonoma. The bed was very comfortable and the steam shower was amazing. The best part of the property was the outdoor area and the pool; the views where spectacular. The neighbors were very quiet. Vicki was easy to communicate with and responsive. The road to the house was challenging, but we got used to it!

As beautiful as the pictures

We had the best time at the Mountain Retreat! The pool and view from it is just stunning, and the porch is perfect for an afternoon charcuterie board. As others have mentioned, it's a windy and narrow way up! However, the drivers are quite cautious and my husband and I felt comfortable enough walking down into town along the road.

Wonderful Secluded Space for Romantic Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Vics property! The place was beautiful and in the most beautiful setting. I wish we could have used the pool, but was too cold. Loved the coziness of the space, the steam shower was amazing, the jacuzzi under the stars, impeccable landscaping and the cute little family of raccoons who visited every night! BUT, what I appreciated the most was how warm, accommodating, and quick to respond Vic was. We will definitely try to get back to stay again!

Amazing view and nice amenities

We have stayed at several rentals in Fairfax and this is our favorite. It is the downstairs level of a larger house and the upstairs is also available for rent, but the owner doesn't rent both at the same time, so you never have to share the amazing deck, hot tub and pool with other guests. Downstairs is nice because you can walk right out onto the big deck and enjoy the hot tub. There is even deck access directly from the bathroom so you can go between the shower and hot tub without dripping water everywhere. We didn't try the pool because the water was too cold to use in the winter. Inside, it has everything you need, including a well-stocked kitchen. The location is close to downtown Fairfax but I would be scared to walk down the narrow winding road into town. Overall, a great place for couples to stay when visiting Fairfax.
