Vi ligger på en klippa ovanför ett underbart vattenfall. Du kan se 50 miles från alla rum. Se årstiderna byta och äta måltider från en härlig, tyst skärmad veranda. Lägenheten är mycket privat med egen parkeringsentré och veranda. Laga mat i det fullt utrustade köket med utsikt över utsikten. Clean and perfect for a couple. Well maintained and provisioned. Yard/view is overgrown and view is obscured mostly by trees since the dwelling is ground level. But overall a pleasant stay in a quiet treed area. Would do again

Great Getaway

Great spot for a get-away

My family of 4 stayed here in August of 2023. It was a pleasant stay, and the furnishings were perfect for my small family. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival, the screen porch was nice to unwind on after a long day of sightseeing, and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

Relaxing, beautiful, quiet!

We had a wonderful stay! The view is beautiful and waking up to the sound of the waterfall is so relaxing. Lots of activities nearby and great restaurants. It's perfect for a romantic getaway in the woods. The apartment had all the amenities we needed and more. Would definitely go back again!!

A beautiful and comfortable spot!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this private and cozy apartment! It was well-appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened-in porch and made good use of the fully equipped kitchen. The bed was super comfortable, with plenty of blankets and pillows. We loved the location, too! We were close to the town-centers of Woodstock and Saugerties, each with a great variety of restaurants and shops. We were also close to some gorgeous hiking trails. Myra and Jerry were lovely and checking in and out was a breeze! We highly recommend this apartment to couples looking for a serene get-away in the Catskill Mountains.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

Beautiful views. Apartment was convenient to both the towns of Woodstock and Saugerties. Hosts were friendly and very helpful with directions and tips on things to do in the area. Wish our stay had been longer!

Million dollar view and nice private apartment

Myra was easy to communicate with and when you visit the mountains you might as well stay in the mountains! Wonderful sunrises!

Amazing views and comfort

We really enjoyed our 17 day stay. The views were amazing and the unit has all of the amenities and decor for a great visit. We were able to work from home and enjoy some spectacular winter hikes. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would love to visit in a different season.

Peaceful getaway

We were in the area for an art show and wanted to stay near Woodstock. This place was a peaceful spot in a great location for us. Enjoyed morning coffee in the screened in porch listening to the birds. Everything was clean and well kept.

Wonderful Getaway Spot in NY

My girlfriend and I had an incredible time at Big Sky. The morning view from the property is an absolutely breathtaking experience. We found the apartment to be very comfortable and relaxing; a great homebase for our excursions around the surrounding area. Myra, as well as all the locals for that matter, were incredibly kind and gracious. We loved our stay and would happily return.

Clean comfortable with great views

The view is spectacular, even in winter. I only stayed 2 days but the apartment was very comfortable and EXTREMELY clean. Myra was very helpful in helping me find the place when my GPS went haywire. I would gladly stay again. Thank you, Myra

Perfect spot for serenity and nature!

Myra and Jerry were excellent hosts. Supportive, but also gave us all the privacy we were hoping for. Their home and Saugerties/the general area is perfect for slowing down, getting some fresh air and taking in the beauty of Mother Nature. We highly recommend checking out Kaaterskill Falls and Selena’s Diner! And we hope to be back for the views again someday :)

Big Sky

We decided to do a golf outing for 2 days and stayed in the area at Big Sky. We frequented the Palenville area. We ate at Griffin House. Highly recommend. Also, Log Cabin Cafe in Purling for breakfast was great. We visited Main Street area of Saugerties the last night. Wished we investigated it more. A very nice stay.

Saugerties Sojourn

Very nice accommodation; just as described. Quiet, secluded, private, lots of room and great views. We had everything we needed. Our hosts, Myra and Jerry, greeted us upon our arrival, and they provided lots of information about the area. We went to the laundromat in Woodstock. It was a nice, clean facility with rapid-speed machines.

Peace and Quiet

We kayak, bike ride, ski , play golf go to concerts and enjoy the many festivals here The film festival .The writers workshop, The poetry festival,Volunteers Day, Halloween parade and Santa Claus on the Village Green.
