House is very nice and clean. Lots of linens. Limited supply of paper supplies so make sure you bring. Location was perfect. Walking distance to pretty much everything. CC required when picking up the keys. Something I never had to do when renting via vrbo.

Check-in was simple! Just went by the office and picked up the key. Check-out was just as simple. Just leave the key at the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, except, we seemed to run out of coffee cups. But, to be honest, we are big coffee drinkers Such a wonderful house! This was our second year staying here!

Finally made it to Ocracoke!!

Property could not have been more perfect!House was larger than expected and clean beyond clean!!! The location was within walking distance to both the Village area and the beach. Having a front porch, back screened in porch and a deck was amazing for a family who loves being outdoors!Can’t wait to book it again

Great vacation

This rental property was great! Our family had plenty of room to sleep, hang out and relax. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. This is a great place to stay.

Great experience

Easy booking with quick response from owners. Getting checked in was quick and easy, property was clean and nicely set up. The property is right in the middle of everything I’d definitely stay there again.

Of I could give 10 stars I would!!

Morning Star was perfect for our family. Being on Lighthouse Rd, we felt like part of the community, even met some neighbors. We were centrally located, and with a golf cart, we could access the whole village in minutes! The beds were very comfortable, the shower was perfect and the whole house and decor made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Spending evenings on the front porch people watching was one of our favorite pastimes! I would recommend Morning Star to anyone!

Wonderful!

We had a beautiful stay on Ocracoke at Morning Star with our kids (11, 8 and 5). The house was the perfect home base for our vacation and was spacious and comfortable. We especially appreciated the screened in porch and outside shower. Would love a corkscrew and vegetable peeler in the kitchen, but other than that it was well-equipped for cooking meals (we mostly ate in) and it was spotlessly clean. Thank you for a lovely stay!
