My friend and I had a wonderful stay! We had something to do every day: from climbing hills to sitting by the fire pit. The cabin was very spacious, and the hosts were amazing!

Slice of paradise

This was our second time staying at this amazing home. The river is the highlight for sure as we enjoyed swimming, rock skipping, and floating in it's refreshing coolness. Lots of great adventures nearby too. We love it here!

Great Getaway!

Great area close enough to town and far away enough to feel like you're secluded. Definitely a spot I will look to book again in the future. Great layout not only inside but outside the cabin as well. Overall 5 star time

Wonderful Getaway

We loved our stay at the cabin! We were looking for a place that had a creek and it was even better than expected. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved stopping in at the brewery nearby and had pizza and the kids danced to live music. We played and explored the creek for hours.

The cabin was very clean and well equipped. Access to the cabin was good as there was not an SUV required. The hosts responded immediately when contacted. We will definitely stay there again!

Awesome spot

Such a lovely house! The owners have all of the necessities in the home, lovely furnishings and a beautiful property. My boys enjoyed fishing in the stream and exploring along the property.

Beautiful and relaxing

The hosts were very communicative and easy to reach. They did a great job of making sure we knew how to get to the property and answering questions we had about things to do. The stream right outside the house was lovely and lots of fun to splash around in, with lots of gorgeous rocks to look at. The house was very cute and well-appointed - the only thing we missed having was a dishwasher, but it wasn’t a big deal. The first floor was very comfortable and the porch was great. The non-carpeted bedroom on the 2nd floor was not soundproof from the downstairs at all which was inconvenient (we originally had our baby in that room) but the other upstairs bedroom has carpet and did not have that issue, so we just utilized that one for the kids. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all that the hosts did to make us comfortable!

We love spending as much time at Sweetwater as we can, but until we are ready to make it our full-time home, we love sharing it's beauty and serenity with others.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We thought we wanted the typical sweeping mountain view property frequently found in the Blue Ridge, but this piece of paradise is so beautiful, tranquil, and unique that we couldn't pass it up. Besides, who wouldn't want to be in "Happy Valley"?

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Pictures don't do this property justice. We instantly fell in love with this location when we opened the car door on our first visit. Remote enough to get away from it all yet within a short drive to conveniences and major attractions (closest major grocery store is 16 mins from the front door). Add the sounds and view of Buffalo Creek wrapping around the house, beautiful custom hardwood furnishing, and extremely comfortable mattresses, and you have a little slice of heaven on earth.
