Family fun

My husband and I along with our three married children had a great vacation at Shore to Please. The backyard was perfect for our hang out time. We would stay again.

Great location for a relaxing vacation

Although the house is a bit older and may not look as fancy as other ones in AMI area, it has everything you need and is very comfortable. The large private swimming pool is great to swim in even at night or early morning. And the house is very close to the beach (2 minutes walk), where we could swim and even watch dolphins almost every day. The Vacasa staff is very friendly and helpful. We needed them two times during our three weeks stay (one time the pool pump strainer was clogged and required cleaning, the other time the gas bottle for the barbecue grill was empty and had to be replaced) - and they fixed it within a few hours. All in all I highly recommend the place due to its specific location in the old (and niciest) part of AMI - if you tolerate that it is a bit older and not „super-fancy“.

Good value

Furniture was comfortable, beds were good, spacious, room to separate from others, great pool area. Chefs will not love the small kitchen, designers will not love the layout, painters will not love the paint….. great place to enjoy fun and family

Just a few minor details

This house had all that we needed, beds were very comfortable, having a third shower outside was also convenient. The pool was pretty dirty and a few amenities could be upgraded

Great House!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Location is very convenient to main street, piers, ice cream and beaches. Super clean, comfortable beds, huge washer and dryer, nice kitchen. Thank you for a great trip!

A great spring break stay!

We had a great stay here during our Spring break. The property is well suited to a family. There is a lot of space and the backyard with the pool and deck area is fantastic. The pool has different steps and ledges which added to the fun with the kids. The place is dated, but comfortable. The kitchen is small but has more than everything you need. Our only complaint was that the pool company came to clean on Friday after at 2pm on our last full day. We couldn't swim for 3 hrs, which was frustrating. It would have been appreciated to have a heads up for when the pool would receive the maintenance so we could plan around. Being close to the Rod n' Reel pier was great, as well as to the local stores just a few blocks away. We had brought and rented bikes which made getting anywhere quick and easy. The walk to the main beach is a hike - about 1km or 10 min, but we had brought a wagon to pull our stuff back and forth. Thanks for a great week!

If I could rate this place a 1/2 star ...

I have rented on the island for approximately 20+ years and I have never been to a property this unsanitary. There was a lot of black mold/mildew in the 1st floor bathroom and mildew smell in garage that is attached to one of the bedrooms. There was no mini blind in the 1st floor bedroom, which we found broken and in the closet. Upstairs had a strong urine odor, smelled like humans not pet odor. Vacasa was very responsive to remedy the broken mini blind. However, even after the repairman tried to "clean" the mold/mildew it looked and smelled the same the remainder of our stay. If anyone has any respiratory or health issues, I highly recommend not renting this place. I'm just glad we did not have children with us this trip!

Family Vacation

Great location...3 min walk to the beach park then a couple blocks to bean point beach. Amazing snorkling!! House was great for our family plenty of room to spread out or gather together. Long couch and chairs played games at night. Grilled out by pool. Wonderful place!! Beach wagon, chairs, umbrella, floats and toys!

Outside pool area is the best part.

The house has a weird floor plan. The main door is back by the pool and has an ear splitting child alarm on it. I can understand the need for it when there are children in the house but not 6-adults. No bypass or work around it was found. The main bedroom is on the ground floor. (I assume it is the MBR since it is the only one with an en-suite.) There is also no closet in the MBR. It is attached to the garage and you must walk thru it to get to the garage. The kitchen is unsightly with trashy looking painted cabinets. No little luxuries like throws on the couch or a welcome basket. Just hard to believe it was worth what we paid for the week.

We enjoyed quiet relaxing evenings poolside. The pool was our favorite spot for our toddler. It had a nice ledge that was perfect for her to play on while still in the water but not too deep. Good location to amenities as well. Extra bed pads that are kept in the closets can be used for additional sleeping.

Fantastic Getaway

We loved Beach to Bay Getaway!! The beds were comfortable, the property was clean, there was tons of outdoor seating and shade. The pool was everything we could have wanted. I wish there was a dish drying rack or some kitchen towels, but that’s my only complaint. It was close enough to walk, or a short drive if needed. Don’t let the reviews of the door alarm deter you, it’s as simple as pressing a button. The safety reassurance it provided with a 3 year old was worth the few times we set it off :)

Could have been better

The location and layout was great. There were a few issues though. Starting with the chirping and alarms going off every time we went out the front door and not being able to resolve the whole time. We had to press the reset button and hold it every time we went out the door so it didn’t wake the whole neighborhood. The pool was very dirty when we arrived and we lost a couple days of pool time until the pool company came to clean it. That’s the main reason we picked this property. The wifi never worked and kept kicking us off. The light bulbs burned out in the kitchen and two burners weren’t working on the stove so it wasn’t functional at all. The TV remotes barely worked so we never got to enjoy the downstairs TV either. The location and pool, once we got to use it, was great and we mostly spent all of our time outside.

Great house with a large pool

We really enjoyed staying in “Beach to Bay Getaway”. Everything was clean when we arrived and there was a lot of space for the whole family. The kids really loved the pool, where they spent a lot of the time. Nice and quiet location not far from a local beach.

Great stay at Beach to Bay

Loved the house and the pool! Roomy enough to handle our family including our fur babies!! Had two contractors show up unannounced which surprised us. Would have expected a call a day in advance from a safety and scheduling perspective.

The only thing I wish I would of know was they the main living area was upstairs. Took my elderly parents who have a very hard time with stairs. Other than that it was a great place.

Great family getaway

This was a lovely home, that suited my family's need perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. We found the house clean and comfortable. And the pool area was awesome! It's very close to the bay ( 2 min walk)... but if you are looking for beach time you might have to jump in the car and head 5-10 minutes down the road. All in all, we loved the property and would consider booking again in the future.

Weekend stay

The pool was amazing! The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook and the grill was a plus. The sofa was nice and big and the tv had Netflix and Disney we could log in for our kids! The walk to the beach is 4 min. but it is not the big beach with a lot of sand, that beach we had to drive to get to but less than 5 min. drive. The downstairs master bedroom doesn’t cool down very good. It stayed about 78degrees while upstairs we had at 70. Some outlets didn’t work in the bedrooms. Overall great place!
