Comfortable retreat

Location, space and property were lovely.We had everything we needed indoors and out. Great location and responsive host. Not a high end place but a good value. We all agreed we would come back

Perfect Family Gathering

This property is the best place possible for a large family. Gorgeous yard, view, and a block from our favorite beach in the area. The property owner is easy going and allows families to just stay and enjoy.

Magical Time

We had a wonderful time with our family of 7. The home had everything we needed and the location was perfect. The outdoor space and sunroom was a pleasant surprise as well. We will definitely come here again.

QUAINT! Pictures don't do it justice

This home was so cozy and perfect for a Fall getaway! We absolutely loved spending time there and even got to enjoy a fire in the fire pit outside in the evening. The pictures truly don't do it justice; it's adorable and incredibly spacious! Stuart was also very kind!

FABULOUS HOUSE & TOWN

Views are tremendous; nearby restaurants and shops are wonderful. House had plenty of supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, condiments, etc. Had issue with heating but owner immediately took care of it. Washer/dryer are in cellar with steep stairs going down; just a heads up!

PARADISE!

This house and it's location are amazing! Walking distance to everything you need for a completely relaxing vacation by the beach. Everyone in the neigborhood appeared to know we were temporary residents and were very friendly! The house was very cozy and with 4 bedrooms all of my kids were able to have their own room and privacy. The home was very cozy and had plenty of outdoor living space to enjoy - with fantastic views. We absolutely loved our stay and hated to leave.

awesome Atlantic Ave. beach house

Charming older house with all of the comforts of home. Great property, neat & clean, located in a quiet neighborhood tucked in between The Headlands & Old Garden Beach. Amazing sunrises, beautiful garden, fire pit & deck. Off street parking, walkable to town, spacious yard, and relaxing 3 season room. Location is perfect to unwind and close to beach & town to have fun!

Great location

Lovely and quaint house in a great area. Two minute walk to beautiful ocean views. House was well-stocked stocked and comfortable. Lots of space for two teenagers in a 10-year-old. Wonderful overall property.

Great rental!

My husband and i stayed with our 3 kids ages (14,12,8). It was perfect! Walking distance to downtown bearskin neck, you can see old garden beach ocean from the house. Minutes from capehedge beach. The house was great for us! Will likely stay again!

Great location but property is dated

Positives: - Great location; can walk to downtown and The Neck - Close to a private beach - lots of bedrooms for a large group - can park right out front Challenges: - dated house, awkward layout, master bathroom is shared - wifi was weak, slow, wouldn't connect in master bedroom - house needed a deep cleaning It met the bare minimum for our needs (based on # of people), and price was competitive; but we will be looking for a different place for next year, and we will spend a little more to get something nicer.

Great Location

The property was comfortable and in the perfect location for our family. The host responded quickly when we asked for more towels. It was a little dustier than I like in the bathrooms, but overall very clean.

Charming Little Property with Big Appeal

We loved our time at the stay! We traveled my parents, ourselves, and our small children. This house had an old school New England charm, with enough bedrooms for all of us. One bedroom was a large loft which was perfect for our kids. The property also has a large backyard, a fire pit a wonderful deck plenty of parking and even a little view at the street to the ocean! The kitchen was well-stocked, as were the bathrooms, with everything we could need. The beds were fantastic! They seemed like new memory foam mattresses. We will definitely return here if we ever return back to Rockport on a family vacation.

Idyllic Rockport weekend

I rented this house for a family gathering - my son is a Navy pilot and came home to visit before he goes on a deployment. He specially requested a "Thanksgiving dinner" and that's what we had -- the house had everything needed to prepare a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The house is wonderful - very roomy with sheets, blankets, pillows and towels provided. All we had to do was bring our clothes (and of course that turkey :). Thank you for a great weekend.

Great Rockport Location

We had a great experience staying at this house. Spacious, clean and well equipped, it had everything we needed. Loved the layout and the way every space was both functional and pleasantly set up. The deck outside was so nice to have, as was the A/C indoors during what turned out to be a very hot and humid week. Best of all, the location was perfect, in a lovely quiet neighborhood but walkable to a nearby beach and even the town center. All in all a perfect place to stay, and we hope to do it again in the future.
