Clean, comfy, and convenient!

The unit is as advertised, and I found it both clean and comfy for my solo stay. The host was very kind and communicative, and check-in & check-out was super easy. Loved the location - Close to I-5 but peaceful and quiet. Would happily stay here again when in the area!

Even better than the photos

So much nicer than we were expecting! The bed is so incredibly comfortable. I can’t remember the last time I slept that good! Seriously need to get myself one of those mattresses. We got there really late in the night and finding the property and checking in was a piece of cake! Took a lot of stress off of our long journey. I reached out about staying later than checkout time super last minute and they were more than accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice stay and good price.

Totally cute, nice location near the freeway in the country. We drove up to Mt Lassen. Beautiful drive. I grew up in Cali and I’m in my 50s. But I have never been to this area. I am so jealous they do not have these Mountain views where I live. We also had dinner at View 202. Fine dining with a fabulous view of the river and mountains. Loved our little vaca. The only negative would be that the bed sinks to the middle even with the topper on it. Also the couch and its cover have seen better days. I feel guilty even mentioning these things because we had such a nice time getting away. Thanks for letting us stay!

Cozy and quiet

This was a perfect pit stop for our road trip. It was even cozier than the photos show. There was a very large fenced yard which was perfect for our dog to run around and stretch his legs. Quiet, comfy bed, lots of amenities, and even a water filtration system for the sink for cleaner drinking water. Communication was great too. Overall, lovely.

Perfect little cottage

This is a cute cottage off the highway! It’s quiet and the host is very nice. She greeted us and there was a little back patio with access to the backyard for our dogs to go potty! Everything you need!

Last Minute Get Away

First of all, I want to say how much we appreciate nice, affordable, dog-friendly places to stay. Second, the host was very helpful in getting us booked the night before arriving. The rugs, linens and towels were all clean and in good condition. While the cottage is small, it has a full kitchen and bath which we really appreciate. The double bed has a thick mattress topper that is super soft but made it challenging for us to maneuver on! We found the couch uncomfortable but did appreciate the TV trays to eat on (and place our suitcase on). If we could offer some practical ways for improvement, we would suggest a deep cleaning of the decor and kitchen appliances as well as a thorough wipe down of kitchen counters, sink, window seals and outdoor table and chairs. Overall, for the price, it was a good place to stay!

Lovely, rural, quiet property.

Thoroughly enjoyed. My dog was able to stretch his legs (and nose) around the fenced in back yard. This was a definite plus.

Comfortable bed

This rental has the most comfortable bed. It seems to mold softly around your body! It was really hot that day and it took a bit to cool down bedroom. I could not give owner ETA on my arrival so she could not try to cool it ahead of time!

One Night Stay

One night stop to final destination. Appliances worked well with large refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable with nightstand on each side of bed and dressers available. Ample parking for truck and boat. Host was very hospitable.

My 11-year-old son and I arrived with our dog at about 6:15 p.m. and all we wanted to do was rest. It was really nice to have a safe, clean, extra quiet place to do so. This property was incredibly peaceful, host was super friendly and helpful, it felt safe as compared to some of the reviews for hotels in Redding. The bed was also ridiculously comfortable. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place! Makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the country, the smell of grass, farms and you can hear the train in the distance great set up for a private place. Great host only 10 minutes to the freeway Highway 99. Had a little trouble a little figuring out the light switches but other than that everything was great. It had a great fridge with ice maker. I was glad it was only me because the bed would've been too small for me and my husband. But there is a fold out bed also I think. Would definitely recommend and stay here again:)

This cute little tiny home was wonderful! It had a full kitchen and living area. It also had a full sized bedroom and bathroom. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The TV in the living area was a little bit tricky to use. But the one in the bedroom was great. I would also recommend to the owner to provide a fold up table or TV trays, as there isn’t anywhere to eat or play games inside. There is a small deck outside with a small table, however.
