The house was clean and ready for our arrival. I really appreciated that there were lots of towels/washcloths stocked. The off street parking was super convenient. The location is ideal; we enjoyed several cafes, restaurants, and shops that were all within walking distance. Also, trips to museums and the french quarter were easy to manage.The house was pet friendly, and the whole neighborhood was super duper dog friendly. We are already looking forward to returning!

This was a great fit for our family! We loved the location and off-street parking. The house was comfortable, roomy, and quiet. The yard was perfect for letting our dogs out if they didn’t want to go far in the heat. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Very convenient location with many walkable points of interest, like Audubon Park, shops, restaurants, and Whole Foods. The property is well-loved with easy parking that makes a big difference when loading a family into an Uber. The host was responsive and understanding to our requests.

Great family get away in new orleans

Joe has been extremely responsive. Property was exactly as described. Location was great to local eateries, especially District Donuts. The beds were fantastic! I dont always sleep well when away from home, but that wasnt a problem. Would definately recommend for a family that wants to experience new orleans!

quality time

comfortable space was clean. It was easy to be with family there. It could use a bit of upkeep because it is an old house. All the appliance worked and there were plenty of dishes and so on.We loved having the front porch and the little yard.

Such an amazing stay!

We absolutely loved Joey’s home. We were in NOLA for 5 days on a multi-generational family trip. The house worked so well for the 6 of us and we all so enjoyed ourselves. The location could not have been better, 1/4 block off of Magazine Street. 4 of the 5 nights we walked to dinner at various restaurants, Whole Foods is about a block away, and the two coffee shops were definitely enjoyed by our daughter and husband. I have never slept better than I did at Joey’s. Anything you would need is in the rental - just overall, amazing.

Great location & convenient

Comfortable and convenient to shops, dining, and coffee shops. Loved being in walking distance to Magazine Street as well as a short drive to downtown. Parking was available which was very nice considering how narrow the New Orleans neighborhood streets are. The owner was very responsive when asked questions during our stay. We will stay here again when returning to New Orleans.

Location location!

We had a great family Mardi Gras thanks to the great location of the house. Added bonuses were beds for all of us and the fenced in front yard. Joey was super easy to get in touch with any questions. The property was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the Location

If you want to be in a beautiful neighborhood close to market, shops, restaurants and street car this is it. We were in town for the Super Bowl and wanted a break in the evening from the crowd. This neighborhood is very quiet and we utilized the street car daily to downtown. Host communication was outstanding with recommendations and prompt replies.

Weekend getaway

Good place with lots of beds near nice shops and Whole Foods. Host was great at providing music tips, including at le bon temps roulee, which is walking distance away. There is a parking spot but we took the bus or Lyft which worked out well.
