Charmig stuga pÄ direkt vid Delaware-bukten med hisnande, fri utsikt över bukten. Helt spektakulÀr utsikt över soluppgÄngen. Det hÀr Àr syster

Vi bevarade det unika huset i pagodstil och uppdaterade insidan. Uteserveringen ansluter till huvudsakliga vardagsrum och dÀr du tillbringar dina morgnar, mÄltider och speltider. Matbord rymmer lÀtt 6. Ytterligare sittplatser pÄ andra sidan verandan med soffa och papasanstol och ottoman. Fantastisk utsikt över bukten med stora fönster runtom och lyxen att bli skÀrmad! Vi har sett delfiner simma i viken frÄn verandan. Fönster pÄ norra och södra sidan möjliggör sval, uppfriskande korsbris.

UtedÀcket Àr expansivt och perfekt för morgonstrÀckor eller yoga.

HuvudvÄningen Àr öppen och vÀl lÀmpad för familjens kul. BekvÀma soffor och sittstol. Alla med vacker utsikt över bukten. Köket Àr litet, men tillrÀckligt rymligt för att laga enkla mÄltider. En utomhusgrill finns tillgÀnglig. Det finns ocksÄ ett inomhus 4-sitsig bord i huvudomrÄdet.

Nya apparater: kylskÄp, tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare.

TvÄ sovrum Àr pÄ övervÄningen och sover 4 bekvÀmt. Ett sovrum har en full sÀng. Barnen rum har en tvilling över full vÄningssÀng och rulla sÀng under (sÄ kan rymma 1-2 mer om det behövs).

Det övervÄna badrummet Àr helt renoverat och har dusch och badkar. Vi behöll det ursprungliga lila badkaret som en klassisk pÄminnelse om den ursprungliga Beach Plum.

Det tredje sovrummet Àr pÄ nedervÄningen i den slutna lÀgre nivÄn. Det finns en queen size-sÀng och stort sittomrÄde med ett lyxigt lÀderavsnitt. Det finns ocksÄ en separat dörrÄtkomst till undre undre dÀck pÄ lÀgre nivÄ.

TvÀttstugan ligger i lÀgre nivÄ och har en ny tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare. Ett andra badrum ocksÄ pÄ denna nivÄ i tvÀttstugan.

Vi har lagt till en utomhusdusch. Det Àr helt perfekt för att tvÀtta bort barnen innan man gÄr in i huset och vÀldigt föryngrande utan barnen!

TilltrÀde till stranden Àr precis utanför dÀcket pÄ den markerade banan eller gatusidan till höger pÄ stigen. Vi Àr direkt pÄ stranden. Inga andra hus finns mellan oss och stranden.

Wonderful cottage just steps away from the beach! We enjoyed all the amenities and the owner's fantastic communication. The house is also located a short drive from amenities in Milton such as the Dogfish Head Brewery and icecream.

We love it here!

This is a hidden gem! So clean, comfortable and just steps to the beach. Absolutely love the outdoor shower. We have two very little kids and this place is great for them. We hope to be back again next year!

Peaceful retreat

Great for small to medium sized family. Fairly well equipped kitchen (could use a baking sheet or two and a ladle). No crowded beach! Several beach chairs, umbrellas, toys available. Nice table in sunroom for family meals, although needs treatment for ants. All in all a very relaxing time.

Great family getaway

We loved our time here! Steps from the beach, tons of horseshoe crabs, sand crabs and ghost crabs! My kids loved it! Catching crabs on the river was great and we were pretty close to Rehobeth for some boardwalk time. Quick responses from host too! My only critique was that the televisions had no Netflix or DVD players. Would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent time at Beach Plum in mid July. The cottage is adorable and the view incredible. We had one bad bug day, but every other day was totally manageable, and the beach was empty which made us very comfortable during this crazy time. It was our 5 week olds first trip to the beach, and it was truly special.

Perfect getaway!

I wanted to surprise my wife and kids with a last minute getaway before school started and this was just what we needed! Couldn't ask for a better location. It was very peaceful and quiet and the beach was just steps away from the house. We loved waking up and going for a walk on the beach and then eating breakfast in the sun room while enjoying the beach views. It was so relaxing and just what we needed! The kids didn't want to leave. And the communication with Monica was great! Very quick and responsive.

Beautiful clean home in peaceful location

We enjoyed the beautiful clean home and the quiet private beach. The owner was also very helpful and communicative. When our children wanted to go out for entertainment, we learned that most things are a 30 minute drive, but it was good for them to unplug and to enjoy a slower quieter pace most of the week. The water was warm and we enjoyed ghostcrabbibg and crab fishing at a nearby spot and visiting the Broadkill store (best donuts ever but weekends only!) Be sure to bring bug spray to the beach and then you’ll love this place!

Cute house and beach to ourselves!

We enjoyed our week at Beach Plum. Beach was just a short walk away along a little boardwalk. We also put orders in over the phone at the Broadkill Store and did curbside pickup up there. Was a great place for social distancing and watching some beautiful sunsets from the deck of the house. Ocean water was warm and waves were mild. Perfect for our 5 yr old to frolic in along the shore. She also loved the bunk beds in the house!

Cozy and comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at Broadkill. The house felt like "home" immediately when we arrived. Our host Monica checked in with us and always responded promptly. We enjoyed the broadkill general store. Very good pizza and probably the best donuts ever!!! Very quiet town and we always felt safe. Only negative blaming mother nature were the bugs. The mosquitoes were out during our trip so if you are thinking of staying make sure you wear long pants and sleeves while getting into the car while leaving. Also bug spray bug spray!!! Flies on beach were bad during our stay since wind was blowing from the preserve. When it wasn't, we loved the beach and water. So private. Heaven on earth! Those bad fly days we waited until it was clear out or just headed to rehoboth beach. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with us!

Amazing beach house!

We had an amazing time and the house was perfect for our needs. Broadkill Beach is so peaceful and lots of fun for little kids since the waves are small. We will definitely be visiting again!

Wonderful stay

This was our second time staying at Monica’s place. We had a great time once again. The house is clean and comfortable for our family of 4. It’s a great location with the quiet privacy of Broadkill Beach while only a short drive from plenty of restaurants and stores. I’m sure we’ll be back again!

Peaceful, Relaxing, Beautiful Gem

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The house was very clean, and just the right size for my family and I. It is beautifully decorated as well. The beach was beautiful, and the sunrises were amazing. Sitting and having coffee in the morning on the sunporch and looking out over the water was absolutely incredible. This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. All of the beds were very comfortable as well. Monica was a perfect host, and communicating with her was very easy. We will definitely be returning here!

EASY beach access - two living spaces on two floors - perfect!

We've stayed here 2 times before with my in-laws and it's perfect because there are two living areas on separate floors (bedroom, bathroom and TV space). Importantly, this home has very easy access to the beach, not something that is true throughout Broadkill, sadly, due to erosion. This has a nice boardwalk right next to the house, and then sand -- all pretty level out to the beach. No huge drop-off, so the beach is VERY easy to access for young and elderly alike. The home is cozy but not fussy. The hosts react to suggestions we've made in the past. We love Beach Plum!

Cute cottage in a great location

Our family had a very nice time at the cottage. The location was perfect with easy access to the beach. The only issue we had was a very strong musty smell. We had to open the windows during the day to make it tolerable.

Little slice of heaven

The property was clean, and beautiful. The owner was very easy to get a hold of and very responsive if we asked or needed anything. The beach and surroundings were delightful. It was a great vacation:)

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This was the house that brought us to Broadkill Beach. The charming pagoda style home is a throw back to the original cottage design here in the early days of Broadkill. This is one of the originals :)

We updated the inside, trying to keep as much character as possible. (Check out the purple tub on the main floor).

The view of the bay and the beautiful grassy dunes is truly therapeutic.

It is the place where our family reconnects and puts the electronics away!
