The property layout is great for a small family. we loved having the private/direct access to the beach. All basic amenities are provided and the furniture and beds were comfortable. We loved the location as you are only 20-30 minutes from many other beaches or the ferry to Cape May. We would stay again.

Beautiful, peaceful & relaxing. We had a wonderful 1 week stay and would definitely return. Host was prompt with any questions. We did a few day trips to Henlopen, Dewey & Tower beaches but the backyard beach was heaven. Comfortable beds, the grill was a treat for us & our older dogs loved hanging out under an umbrella!

We absolutely loved our stay at reflections cottage. The home is beautiful, the property is beautiful. My 2 boys loved waking up and looking for shells and pebbles at the water just steps from the house. The only thing we couldn’t get to do was sign the guestbook because we couldn’t find a pen but otherwise the house had everything you need. Thank you so much! Love the Mannains

Such a lovely beachfront cottage. It was clean, peaceful, and well appointed. My husband and I had such a nice relaxing stay. The views off the back porch were beautiful and the host was amazing with instructions and communication. We’d stay here again in a heart beat!

Hosts took great care describing the property in the listing - no surprises. Host was very responsive to questions and good communication throughout the stay. Very quiet location and enough space inside to spread out and with a covered porch on the front and large deck on the back of the house - again - if you wanted privacy you could find it. Would highly recommend if looking for a quiet peaceful getaway.

The cottage was spectacular and the water views were incredible. The cottage was cozy and inviting and the property was fully stocked from kitchens to bathrooms and bedrooms. The bedding was top notch. The AC was cold!!! We loved having our pup with us who went swimming for the first time and LOVED it. The hosts were very communicative. The Wi-Fi was spotty but worked for the most part. We had a hot spot and it was fine. The yards and gardens were beautiful and natural. We can not say enough about our wonderful vacation!!

This beautiful cottage is exactly as advertised. Clean, super friendly hosts and a perfect location if you want peace and tranquility. The view from the deck is spectacular and the view from the Adirondack chairs above the beach is even better! The home comes stocked with everything you need. Yes, we cooked on vacation!The beach is empty. We spent hours there and rarely saw another soul. My wife and I use VRBO regularly and very few homes check all the boxes-cleanliness, location, accuracy of listing, and responsive hosts. This one does.If you have a small group looking for a great spot on the Delaware beach you found it. We would recommend this place to family and friends.

Quiet Getaway

Slaughter beach was a wonderful secluded getaway. The cottage’s location was perfect for stepping right down to the beach as often as we wanted.
