FörestÀll dig att du Àter frukost med utsikt över bukten, simmar med familjen strax utanför ditt dÀck, tittar pÄ en vacker solnedgÄng och sedan har en bÄl under stjÀrnorna pÄ en privat strand. Detta hem har ett stort kök som öppnar mot vardagsrummet och matsalen med utsikt över bukten. Huset sover bekvÀmt 6 med sina tvÄ sovrum och ett loft. Det stora sovrummet har en privat balkong perfekt för att titta pÄ solnedgÄngen. BefÀlhavaren har en king size-sÀng medan det andra sovrummet har en drottning och en tvilling och loftet har en drottning futon sÀng. Det finns en stor skÀrm veranda pÄ framsidan av huset perfekt för att njuta av solnedgÄngen eller bara ta en tupplur i skuggan.

Another enjoyable stay at Buoy house. Amenities are as stated, the home is very clean.There have been multiple upgrades over the years. Very private. Perfect spot to do nothing but relax. On the edge of a nature preserve, so with a west wind, could incur some insects. Beach is not groomed as it is "private". We really appreciate that aspect.

House was a nice retreat from life. Bay view was relaxing along with a quiet street to do our daily walks. House was as advertised. Gunnar was proactive and responsive to our questions. House had all the comforts of home, plus beach related stuff to make days at beach enjoyable.

The Buoy House is always a treat to stay at for our family! It’s spacious with excellent views of the Bay and has a covered screened in porch for relaxing. Prime Hook is quiet but not too far from restaurants and shopping. The people are friendly and it’s fun to swim and beach comb. The house owner responds quickly and goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We definitely recommend this place!

Awesome stay!

This was our first time renting a house on the beach and we had such an amazing time! We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk up and down the path from the house to the beach. My son and my niece were able to boogie board on some decent sized waves at high tide. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely, well-maintained and well-appointed place. The owner is very responsive. This was our second time staying here. The mosquitoes were a bit rough this time, but repellent is an effective tool against them.

Simply amazing!

The Buoy House has got to be the best rental I've ever stayed in. It was neat and clean, well-maintained, well-stocked, well-furnished, just steps off the beach, located in a wonderful community, and the sunrises across the bay are spectacular. I don't know what else to say except "perfect"!

The Buoy House getaway

Enjoyed another peaceful week at this beautiful home on the shores of the Delaware Bay. As we did last fall, we saw again a pod of dolphins moving up the Bay toward the Atlantic. Looking forward to our next visit!

Peaceful

Our time here was so peaceful. The solitude on the beach can't be beat. Having a fire on the beach has always been on the bucket list so it was awesome to check that off. The wildlife refuge is a great place to take a walk in nature. We seen multiple beach bunnies which was a first but very entertaining. The house itself is beautiful and well prepared for guests. Very clean and serene. If we ever drop by Delaware again we will be sure to stay here.

Beautiful view, calm, quiet.... justt what we needef.

Property was clean and was supplied with what we needed. View is beautiful and we were able to walk right onto the beach. Owner was very communicable, kind and helpful. We will return.

Great house and very quiet area.

Right on the beach, the house has all the basics covered and then some. Beautiful view, beds and bedrooms are comfortable, extras like board games and lots of outdoor fun stuff (kites, kayaks, beach toys, etc.). Check in/check out, and communication with the host were all smooth.

Perfect Beach Get-Away

If you want to walk outside and be on the beach this is the spot for you. It's removed from any real kind of beach-town kitsch and just super simple and lovely.

Dorothy and I absolutely love Prime Hook! It is a beautiful place to relax and we love the beach.
We love the peace and quiet and the feeling of privacy you get as you drive across the wildlife refuge towards the beach. Its great that shopping and excellent restaurants are only 15-20 minutes away .
