We stayed at this property to spend time with our daughter for her 18th birthday. She's a student at nearby Fredonia. The home was comfortable for our family. We'll definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Forestville family reunion

This is our second stay at Charlene's property for an annual 4th of July family reunion. We had an enjoyable stay for 2 couples and a 6 mo old infant. The home was well suited for our needs and Charlene was very accommodating and responsive. We were appreciative for her allowing us to check in early with our baby!

Beautiful home and host

The occasion for our stay was a much anticipated trip to Lily Dale. It was such a delight to return from a busy day to this peaceful and relaxing home. Our host, Charlene, couldn’t have been more lovely. We’re hoping to return with more family!

Very pleased with the accomodations. Even though we were out and about most of our stay what time we were there was very quiet and peaceful. Place was very clean, had all that we needed, host Charlene was just a call away if needed. I would highly recommend staying at The Joy of Life.

Definitely would stay again!

Great setup with an extremely clean and convenient property! Extremely thoughtful landlord who was available at a moments notice when I locked myself out yet have us the privacy we liked when visiting with family. This was such a great visit that I am already looking for another set of dates to do it again!

Always wonderful

Charlene is a lovely host. The property is always consistent and you know what you’ll get when you get there. We love coming here to visit with our family. The property is fantastic and the creek is amazing.

Home away from home

I have stayed at plenty of Vrbo properties and this one by far is one of the best. Everything was organized and plenty of space for my family. There was even toys and a play pen provided! Charlene went above and beyond to accommodate anything we could possibly need. When I come back to the area I hope this property is available!

Amazing place feels like home

I highly recommend one of the best places I’ve stayed far and I travel a lot would highly recommend host is very communicative with you. She has a lot of information. If you want to do stuff with the family she is great she’s amazing and I would highly recommend.

Clean & welcoming

This was housing for employees. It is important for staff to have safe & clean housing while being away from home. This place was that and more. Charlene was very welcoming to all our staff. Thank you!

We enjoyed staying at the Joy of life.

We spent Spring Break at the Joy of life, to visit family in the area. The owner Charlene was very nice and welcoming. The house is on a nice piece of property with a little creek that runs through it The house was nice and clean and had everything you expect and need when staying in away from home. WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF OUR VISIT. We definitely will be back.

Comfort cabin

Anyone looking for a comfortable , well stocked and organized place to rent in western NY would be well advised to seek out Charlene's gem. From the concrete driveway/parking area, to the location in a rural area with a babbling brook , comfortable furniture , walking trails , etc.. this place has it all. Charlene , who lives nearby on the property , is pleasant , easy going , and a wonderful host. I've stayed at several VRBO rentals , and when I saw that Charlene was listed as a premium host , I wondered how someone would be awarded that title. After meeting her on the first day , and our later interactions , I understood fully why she was listed as such. Wonderful friendly person , hospitable , and truly caring about the needs of her guests.
