Denna förtjusande strandstuga byggd på 1950-talet har massor av charm och historia. Minuter från stranden är detta hem beläget bara en kort promenad från allmänhetens tillgång till stranden. Du kan också njuta av fantastiska strandvindar och vyer medan du kopplar av eller äter middag på den skärmad verandan. Det finns gott om parkering och mycket bra utrymme att njuta av tid med vänner eller familj. Kunde sova upp till 11 om du använder de två sofforna i vardagsrummet samt soffan i matplatsen (dubbla lakan finns för dessa soffor).

Vintage and Cozy Beach House

This place had everything my family needed for a great price. The bathrooms and kitchen were very nicely done, looks like a recent remodel. The home was very tastefully decorated with lots of mid-century modern furniture, decor, and kitchenware. The home has a washer and dryer and a cordless vacuum to get all the sand up! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there. The beach is literally a few minutes away just over the dunes.

Wonderful Stay

Just what we were looking for to get away for two weeks. House is warm and cozy. While we were there it was both warm and cold and everything was fine. Steps away from the beach and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. House has everything you need along with gracious hosts.

Charming Beach House

I highly recommend this place. It is the best stocked home we have ever stayed in on a vacay. Perfect location. Exceptionally clean. Super cute ! I was excited to see they had a book series by one of my favorite authors that I read, and we played some of the board games they had as well. (The Goonies :)) all the comforts of home away from home!

Great beach bungalow

This is our second year staying at the bungalow because we loved it so much. Short less than 1 minute walk to the beach, great use of a smaller space and inviting decor. We loved ending our day enjoying the screened in porch.

Simply the Best!

This is our 3rd or 4th visit to the Elma Catherine, and we loved every minute of our weekend. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches. Early morning coffee on the screened porch is a favorite.

Another great stay!

We had another great stay at the Elma Catherine! This is our second trip, and it was just as lovely and wonderful as we remembered. Perfect location right near the beach with all the amenities we needed. Perhaps the best praise comes from my 9 year old who said, “When I’m older, maybe I can buy the Elma Catherine and stay here forever.” We had a tough time leaving, and we’re already planning when we can return! Thank you!

Lovely home just a short walk from the beach!

We would absolutely stay here again! The home is beautifully decorated and cozy. The screened porch was our favorite part. We had coffee in the rocking chairs in the morning and played games at the table at night. The walk to the beach was much shorter than I imagined. It’s an easy walk made even easier with the beach wagon that’s already there. The host was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed! The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch.

Another Fantastic Visit

This was our third time at the Elma Catherine, and as usual we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cottage can be summed up in one word—“lovely.” The updated kitchen made cooking a breeze, and we ate every meal on the spacious screened porch. We will be back!

Our favorite place to stay on DI

This is the most quaint, cozy, clean home away from home. We loved the decor of the Elma Catherine - retro and colorful - it made the house even more enjoyable. It is a short, easy walk to the beach, which is where we spent most all of our days. Everything we could have wanted - and more - was provided in the kitchen. The beds and linens were comfy and of nice quality. This house truly felt like home. It is our new favorite place and hope to return again next year! Thank you!

Great week at Dauphin Island

My family really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful house, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen and lovely welcome extras. You can definitely tell that the hosts take pride in their home. As others have said in previous reviews, the internet could be spotty at times, but it did not detract from our stay in the least. Short walk to the beach,10/10 would recommend and would stay again. :)

Cute, perfect beach house

This is our 4th year staying on the island and this house is our favorite. Cute, cozy with everything you need. A short walk to the beach makes it the perfect location. We enjoyed the large screened-in porch to relax or eat meals. It really felt larger. The master bath is a nice size and includes the washer/dryer which is very convenient. The house was also very clean! The decor is perfect for the beach-bungalow look. The couches were comfortable and we always had enough seating room. Nice gift basket from the hosts. I would highly recommend this house!
