Om boendet

3 km från centrumet av Sarlat, i ett lugnt och skogsområde, fritidshus beläget i hjärtat av en vacker inhägnad park, med pool.

Huvudbyggnaden (ca 140 m2) består av: en matsal-lounge (med öppen spis), ett kök (helt nytt och utrustat), 2 sovrum på bottenvåningen och 1 sovrum på övervåningen. Varje rum har eget badrum och toalett (helt renoverat).

En bilaga (ca 80 m2) ligger några meter från huset, i samma fastighet, har 3 oberoende sovrum, alla med badrum och toalett.

Terrassen utrustad med trädgårdsmöbler och parasoller dominerar poolen.

Stor privat parkering i hjärtat av fastigheten.

Städavgiften ingår i priset för bokningen.
En deposition (1000 €) kommer att begäras vid ankomsten av semesterfirare och återlämnas vid slutet av vistelsen (med förbehåll för villkoren för återlämnande av hyran)

Great home for a family gathering!

Our extended family spent a lovely week seeing all the sites nearby. 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms make it a really easy house to share! The large dining tables (on the patio and inside) were perfect for our large group to enjoy meals together.

great location from which to visit many of the beautiful sites in the Dordogne!

Very accommodating space for at least 11 people. Wide open kitchen allowing several chefs in the kitchen at the same time 😊. Karine is very responsive, and everything was clean and in working order. The only mild complaint was the weak internet signal.

Vacation Gem

L’Esquirol is a beautiful property that exceeded our expectations. Karine met us when we arrived and showed us around the place and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is at a great location with easy access to Sarlat. It was well appointed and we had plenty of space for our group of 9. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would highly recommend it. A Slice of Paradise

I can’t say enough about how special and wonderful Le Squirol is. The gorgeous vegetation makes you feel as if you are living in a lush garden. The house is stocked with everything you could ever need, is squeaky clean and comfortable. It’s well located to enjoy not only Sarlat but many surrounding towns. We loved eating and just visiting outside on the front patio snd, of course, spending time in the pool. I cannot think of a thing to improve it. It is perfect and our hostess the best!!!

Excellent property and supportive host.

This is a property that exceeds its description. It was clean tidy and much more impressive than it looked from the description. The grounds are extensive, the pool is superb and the interior is well decorated. The Aircon in three of the bedrooms was very useful in 30+ degree heat. It is worth noting that as described the main house doesn’t have aircon, but that will only be an inconvenience for a few days a year. As a host Karine was friendly and approachable without interfering in any way during our stay at the property. Finally we know this area well but hadn’t realised there was such good quality accommodation with 2km of the centre of Sarlat. An ideal base to explore from.

Wonderful property

We have had an excellent stay at l'Esquirol: the set-up was perfect for two families of five people. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable and the swimming pool was a great asset on hot summer's days. The owners of the house were very welcoming and helpful and provided great advice and tips on things to do in the area. The house is ideally situated on a quiet country lane, yet only five minutes by car from the centre of Sarlat-la-Caneda. The whole area offers a great variety of activities: we visited the Lascaux caves and their prehistoric paintings, the hanging gardens of Marqueyssac by candlelight, and the beautiful town of Sarlat. The canoe trip on the river Dordogne is also a must and gives a unique perspective on La Roque-Gageac and the imposing castles of Castelnaud and Beynac. The ten of us had a wonderful time and would love to come back to the gite.

Très agréable propriété

Malgré une météo très humide, nous avons passé un week-end de Pâques très agréable dans cette maison tout confort où nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Notre hôtesse s'est montrée charmante et d'une grande disponibilité. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter.

cadre, lieu et environnement parfait pour un séjour en Périgord

La maison est spacieuse et bien conçue pour un groupe (nous étions 10 personnes). Tous les éléments de confort sont disponibles. Le cadre verdoyant et arboré de la propriété est très agréable, la terrasse est conviviale. On accède à Sarlat facilement. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à séjourner ici.

Ferienhaus mit Charme in idealer Lage

Wir haben als 5 befreundete Paare den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, der Pool war bei den hohen Septembertemperaturen eine Wohltat. Der Kontakt mit den Eigentümern war sehr nett und unkompliziert!

Hôte sympathique et à disposition. Chauffage de la piscine mis en marche malgré le séjour précoce début mai. La performance du matériel de nettoyage de la piscine (robot) peut être amélioré. Séjour exceptionnellement agréable.

Perfect!

A very comfortable base of operations in the Dordogne. A nice, quiet, and secluded property with an modern kitchen, entertainment (games, internet, etc), laundry, and bunnies and doves in the yard. The lounges on the pool deck are a relaxing spot to read a book, offering both sun and shade options. Karine was an excellent hostess.

Birthday Celebration

Eight of us traveled From the US to the Dordogne for 2 weeks to celebrate the 80th birthday of one of us..... fabulous house, 8 people, 8 beds in 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, updated to US standards, stunning buildings, fabulous heated pool, ideal location and a hostess who is kind and helpful. Would go again in a heartbeat! No words can adequately express my appreciation for this property and opportunity.

Un séjour sans trop de tracas

Bonjour, Les chambres situées dans un bâtiment séparé de l'habitation principale sont équipées d'une VMC très bruyante et qui ne peut pas être mise à l'arrêt sans priver d'alimentation électrique 2 des chambres. Le propriétaire nous a dit que d'importants travaux allaient être réalisés à partir d'octobre; Quelques absences d'équipements ont été indiquées à la proriètaire: Electro-ménager (mixer), une détection de fumées, prise extérieure calibrée pour voiture hybride ou électrique, terrain de pétanque. Incompatilité dimmensionnelle entre poêles et foyer à induction.
