Vackert hus renoverat gammalt inom och utanför, sten och balkar, pÄ sydterrassen 80 m2, pÄ höjderna i Sarlat, med söderlÀge utsikt, kastar sig pÄ stadens tak, pÄ monument och kullar. VÀgen, mycket tyst, grönska och isolerade pÄ toppen av en kulle. 350 meter, till fots, centrum och alla butiker i nÀrheten, och marknaden tvÄ gÄnger i veckan pÄ onsdag och lördag, 500 meter frÄn den historiska stadskÀrnan och butikerna. Privat uppvÀrmd pool 11x5 pÄ teakterrass 60m2. Ingen direkt motsats. Vacker stenterrass pÄ cirka 100 kvm med utsikt över staden och poolen, sÄ att du kan njuta av solen hela dagen, och solnedgÄngen bakom bergen med en drink i handen. Poolsalt, mjukt för huden, sticker inte ögonen till skillnad frÄn kloren.
Utesoffa, babyfot, jumbovÀska och biljard utomhus finns, mÄnga brÀdspel, mÄnga DVD-skivor. Utomhusbordfotboll och biljardbord utomhus Ping pong, stor grill fast pÄ terrassen, gaspanna. 300/400 m frÄn centrum och affÀrer, och 500 m frÄn den historiska stadskÀrnan, tillgÀnglig med en liten bukolisk spÄr (eller 2 km med bil). Gungor och minislidbana för barn och mÄnga spel: boule. Terrassen framför huset stÀngs av en grind, ett barn kan inte lÀmna det, dÄ Àr poolen stÀngd av en andra dörr. Stayed here while visiting the area for our sons wedding. The property was lovely, the pool was amazing and the air conditioning was enjoyed by all in the heat wave. Sophie looked after us every inch of the day. We have rented many properties but Sophie must be the best host ever!

An amazing adventure in the center of Medieval History!

Sophie and Jean's home is the perfect location for a relaxing and amazing vacation. My three friends and I arrived in Sarlat and immediately relaxed in this gorgeous home. There was plenty of space for us all to have our own private comfortable rooms and also gorgeous locations for our joint gatherings. I can't say enough about the beauty of this home overlooking Sarlat, the comfort of the pool, and the blooming flowers everywhere! Sophie was easily accessible and so helpful with all of her suggestions. We definitely want to return!

Paradise in Sarlat

After opening the gates to Sophie’s property, we weren’t quite prepared for how amazing the view was over the town over Sarlat. With a larger than average pool directly overlooking the town as well, it was evident that this place had beauty in abundance. The house itself was very well laid out, with everything to hand and access to a fantastic terrace overlooking the pool and the town as well. The grounds were totally private and safely enclosed for our two dogs to enjoy. We were very grateful for the air conditioning in every room ( and the fantastic pool) especially considering the soaring temperatures outside. The town was easily accessible, with a footpath located right next to the entrance. 10 minute walk and you have the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat at your disposal, with all its restaurants and entertainment. Our only regret, is that we didn’t stay longer, but after 26 years of visiting France, I would say that this is definitely in our top three, but we won’t say which one!!!.

We had a fabulous week as a family here at the end of August. The house is very well equipped with a glorious pool, pool table, table tennis, 2x BBQ's etc. And everything you could possibly need inside. 4 really good sized Bedrooms, and enough bathrooms for everybody. It's a very short walk to town (15 mins) allowing you to benefit from the best of the town and what it has to offer, with its lovely local markets, entertainment and bars and restaurants. Further afield you are ideally positioned for local trips to the Dordogne, castles or caves, all of which can be reached in 30-40 mins or less. There are lots of facilities close by, with a large carrefour 5 mins drive to the North and a large E. Leclerc to the South. Communication with the owners was excellent, and they added some lovely little touches to make us feel welcome. The area is absolutely stunning, if you haven't been we would strongly recommend it, we loved the house. Thank you!

Merveilleux

Nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour merveilleux dans cette belle maison Ă  Sarlat. MalgrĂ© notre venue en novembre, nous avons eu la chance de profiter pleinement de la grande piscine avec nos enfants. L’eau Ă©tait parfaitement entretenue et la piscinenous a permis de vivre des moments de baignade exceptionnels, mĂȘme en automne ! La maison est spacieuse, bien Ă©quipĂ©e et dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t, offrant tout le confort. Nous avons aussi apprĂ©ciĂ© le calme des lieux, idĂ©al pour se reposer aprĂšs des journĂ©es de dĂ©couverte de la rĂ©gion. La prĂ©sence des jeux extĂ©rieurs a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©e par toute la famille. merci Ă  notre hĂŽte pour son accueil chaleureux et ses petites attentions. Nous repartons avec de beaux souvenirs.

Superbe séjour à Sarlat

Nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour fantastique dans cette maison Ă  Sarlat. L’emplacement est idĂ©al : en retrait pour plus de calme, tout en permettant d’accĂ©der facilement au centre historique Ă  pied. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un temps magnifique en cette pĂ©riode habituellement froide, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de la grande piscine, parfaite pour se dĂ©tendre et s’amuser en famille. La maison est spacieuse et confortable, idĂ©ale pour les enfants. La vue sur l’environnement est splendide, et le cadre est vĂ©ritablement agrĂ©able. Un endroit parfait pour profiter de Sarlat et de ses alentours trĂšs touristiques

Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sejour dans cette maison confortable. tous les Ă©quipements sont prĂ©sents, la vue sur le sarlat historique invite Ă  la reverie, nous avons pu passer des moments inoubliables avec mes filles grĂące aux multipleas activitĂ©s prĂ©vues par les propriĂ©taires (baignade dans la grande et belle piscine chauffĂ©e, jeux de sociĂ©tĂ©, jeux d'exterieur - ping pong, billard, baby foot, balançoires

Fantastic for Family holiday

Pool was amazing, the house had everything you could need, kitchen utilities, games, baby cot and high chair, etc. Communication from owners was good. Wonderful location, could walk into Sarlat town easily. We would highly recommend!

Can't recommend. Only stayed 2 nights.

Booked for 1 week last August but only stayed 2 nights. Property not cleaned properly, left over food in fridge, old bedding and BBQ etc. in gardens. Hot tub not cleaned so unusable whilst we were there. Owners unhelpful.

House with a view in Sarlat

We had a fantastic stay in Jean and Sophie's house in Sarlat. It's in an excellent position just a short walk to Sarlat town centre and an easy drive to most of the places you'd wish to visit. The view over Sarlat is stunning. The amenities were everything you need for all ages to enjoy and were well kept and in a good condition. One shower sprung a leak and the gates got stuck but were immediately fixed with minimum fuss. Thank you for that! The video of how to get to the house was incredibly useful as we arrived very late and in the dark and the food and drink left for us was a thoughtful and welcome touch - again thank you! The whole family and partners had a thoroughly happy week and we would definitely consider going back and recommend to anyone to stay in this beautiful house. The Buckley Family

Fabulous villa in a great location

Well equipped family villa, great location and views over old Sarlat, fabulous pool and facilities to relax for a holiday in the Dordogne. Easy access to Sarlat down a path into town - you can leave your car behind. Fabulous time spent there, would definitely return and highly recommend. Owners were helpful and very responsive with lots of advice about restaurants and local places to visit.

The house is in an ideal quiet location with idyllic views. It’s a short walk to the centre of Sarlat and has easy access to surrounding attractions. The house had effective air conditioning and was well resourced. The pool was fabulous. The only minor issue was there were no rooms with en-suite toilets. The house was very good value and I would highly recommend it

Excellente experience

La propriĂ©tĂ© est idealement placĂ©e, au calme, avec une trĂšs jolie vue sur Sarlat et Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied du centre ville. La maison est trĂšs agrĂ©able et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e y compris pour les loisirs (babyfoot, billard, table de ping pong sans parler de la trĂšs belle piscine idĂ©ale pour Ligner les longueurs). Les propriĂ©taires sont trĂšs attentionnĂ©s, pleins de bons conseils et trĂšs rĂ©actifs en cas de question. Pour finir le PĂ©rigord noir est une rĂ©gion magnifique oĂč l'on mange trĂšs bien.

Super séjour en famille en Dordogne !

Les hĂŽtes ont Ă©tĂ© exceptionnels ! Ils nous ont trĂšs bien accueillis dans la maison, avec plein de petites attentions pour les adultes comme pour les enfants. Ils ont Ă©tĂ© Ă  l’écoute et trĂšs rĂ©actifs dĂšs que nous avions une question ou une souci. La maison Ă©tait exactement comme nous l’attendions, trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e et propre. Le chemin pour accĂ©der Ă  la maison est un peu Ă©troit mais le parking peut loger deux voitures.

Such a great place

This is a fantastic villa with an amazing swimming pool and location. It’s a lovely short walk in to town. Communication was fantastic. The facilities were as described, the pool table especially gave lots of entertainment and thank goodness for the great aircon. Honestly didn’t want to leave. Super comfy large beds we all slept so well. would highly recommend.

Superb Dordogne Stay

Fantastic stay in a wonderful location. Very close to the beautiful town of Sarlat, as well as close to the Dordogne river. Great base to explore the surrounding areas whilst having a beautiful view to accompany some splendid rouge vin during the night. Sophie was a great host with really quick communication on any questions we had. Very nice surprise of a keg of beer waiting for us. Only downside was some weeds were overgrown on the terrace hampering the view somewhat!

Maison confortable, adaptée pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Dommage que le spa ne soit pas fonctionnel durant la quasi totalité du séjour.

Perfect holiday home in a great location.

We’ve just stayed two weeks in this marvellous house which is a short walking distance from Sarlat. Our first impression was that the photographs did not do it justice. All subsequent impressions confirmed that view. The house is fully stocked with all the amenities one could want, from the toys in and around the large pool to the pool and table tennis table on the patio. A large outside table makes family mealtime easy and trouble free. Inside you have a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge with two downstairs bedrooms with showers. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms with an excellent bathroom, with a large shower. The house also has lots of games to keep the kids entertained in case it rains, as this didn’t happen during our stay, we just enjoyed the pool. Communication with Sophie was excellent and any queries were resolved quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gifts that were left for us, such as wine, a food parcel and beer. A lovely, much appreciated touch. The location of the property is perfect for walking into Sarlat. At the bottom of the drive, you turn left, follow a path and 7 minutes later you’re in the centre of Sarlat We’ve holidayed in Sarlat for the last 30 years and this is the best house that we’ve rented. We’ll be back.
