It was a wonderful stay at the shores of Maui. Wonderful view straight from the lanai. Great proximity to grocery stores and the beach. Sea turtles were everywhere and we highly recommend South Maui Gardens. Thank you!

Great Location!

Great location located right in heart of Kihei. Walking distance to great beaches, food locations, and other amenities. Owner very communicative and everything was as described. Condo very clean and organized with all items you could want.

THe best place I have stayed.

This is the best place I have stayed in the Kihei area ever...and I have stayed any many of them. Beautiful wood work, remodeled, and very nice. Great AC.

Absolute Paradise!

We are so sad to be leaving, we absolutely loved our stay here. You will want for absolutely nothing at this property, truly. It is so well equipped, it truly has anything you could need for your stay. The bed was very comfortable, the condo itself was lovely, and we loved the patio where we watched the surf lessons every morning and sunset at night. The food truck park within walking distance was great and had some great spots!

Fabulous stay

We love this spot particularly sitting on the porch watching the surfers and being able to just walk across the street for a nice long board surf break. The food truck area through south Maui Gardens was a favorite eating locale for us. All in all very relaxing.

Quick weekend in paradise

This condo was perfectly place and close to everything you’ll want or need. We both enjoyed our stay. King mattress was really comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked including spices. Drip coffee maker Beach chairs Beach towels You won’t regret.

Love this location

If you’re wanting a beautiful ocean view, walking distance to anything you need and the bonus of a pool, you need to stay here. This condo is exactly as described. Being on the second floor gives you a perfect spot to watch Mauis amazing sunsets as well as enjoying the surfers all day. You can easily walk to restaurants, groceries, cocktails and shopping. We will definitely be back.

Ocean Views

This condo was so homey and comfortable. We had wondered if there would be street noise, but we seldom noticed traffic noise at all. We were able to walk to so many things - food, restaurants, shopping, activity rentals, and Kraken Coffee! We had absolutely everything we needed and more. The view from the lanai was just gorgeous - watching surf lessons in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Stay

Our stay was short and sweet. The accommodations were as advertised. Probably could not find a better spot to view the awesome sunsets. There were an abundance of amenities, however could not find any shampoo, no biggie. Final issue, my wife removed her shoes as requested at the door and found quickly that the floors, although nothing noticeable on the floor were quite dirty. Overall, very nice stay and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful location and sunset on Maui.

Great location and amenities

Loved the location of this property across the street from beginners surfing and within walking distance of tons of food options including food truck park. Easy parking. Enjoyed my cup of coffee on the veranda overlooking the ocean. We made use of the beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels, and umbrella. Even had pickleball rackets to use.The upstairs loft did get pretty warm during the day but we did not use the area. Air conditioning worked well in the main living room and bedroom. Property was fully stocked with everything you could need. Highly recommend.

Comfortable condo in a great location!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this condo in Kihei. The view from the lanai is amazing. My wife and I never tired of sitting outside and watching surfers and paddleboarders zip through the waves right across the street. I surfed quite a few times myself because the condo was so handy to the beach. The condo was a great base of operations. There are several excellent drinking and dining options within walking distance and even more if you are willing to take a 5 minute drive. The kitchen is well equipped. We did quite a bit of cooking there. You also have the barbecues down by the pool which are nice way to spend an evening or two. The bed in the condo was very comfortable, and our kids slept on one of the many futons available. The air-conditioning cools down the whole place within minutes, although we didn't use it very often. The breeze blowing in was quite enough for us to keep the temperature comfortable. Plus, you can hear the ocean that way as well. The condo comes equipped with snorkel gear, boogie boards, tennis racquets, and other things you can use to enjoy the outdoor playground that is Maui. The owner contacted us a couple of times to make sure everything was in working order. The pool/ jacuzzi/ barbecue area is a great way to unwind after being at the beach all day. The pool is the perfect temperature. The beaches within walking distance have nice, sandy bottoms and the snorkeling is decent as well. In short, you really can't go wrong with this place.

Awesome experience

Condo was setup fantastic. Comfortable, warm and inviting. Our first time staying at a place like this and had a truly remarkable experience. Everything one could want was there. From cooking, laundry, comfort. The view from the lanai was amazing. Saw whales every day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I rate this place a 5 star! It’s clean, the host is really good at getting back with you quickly. This trip had some hiccups with a storm but no fault of the host. He called electric company and Spectrum. I hope to stay here on my next visit. I highly recommend!

Honest thoughts

The steep staircase was difficult for my husband & I as he is 82 & I recently had a hip replacement- so getting suitcases & groceries up will prevent us from staying again - the view was great & enjoyed watching the surfers. The air conditioning blowing on the lanai made it not possible too spend as much time out there as would have liked

Just spent three great days in this lovely condo. I highly recommend it .... perfect location .... very clean and well maintained. I've stayed in many VRBO properties and this one has the most in unit amenities ... I've ever experienced... kitchen, bath ... loaded with every possible thing you could want or need .... while enjoying your time in Kihei.

Incredible stay

Great place to relax or use as a base to explore all Maui has to offer. Walking distance to everything you would need, beaches, parks, restaurants, bars, shops, grocery store. Pool area is very well kept and has a great view overlooking the ocean. 10/10 stay would highly recommend!

Great place, great location!

Great place to stay, unit was clean and the most well-stocked of anywhere I have stayed. Host provided everything that I needed and more. Pool is freezing cold, I was told it is heated but is definitely not. Unit is very dark inside and you need lights on even during the day. Other than that, it is a wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyone. AC works well, mini split in bedroom and living areas. Comfortable bed too!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Maui, Hawaii is an amazing place. We fell in love with the Island on our first visit in 1997. The Aloha is one of the many reasons why we came back time and again.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

When we come to our home away from home we really do feel at home. We truly do enjoy being able to make our condo our home and make any changes we feel are needed.

The Shores of Maui and particularly our unit has one of the most amazing unobstructed ocean views. The condo association had the power lines buried underground and the telephone polls removed so there is absolutley nothing to obscure the ocean front view and the absolutely gorgeous ever changing sunsets all from the privacy of the lanai.
