Efter en dag med skidåkning eller vandring kan du njuta av vår fantastiska jacuzzi-badtunna eller elda upp ett av flera eldalternativ medan du tittar på solnedgången. Aktiviteterna är många på både sommar och vinter och inkluderar skidåkning / snö boarding i världsklass, längdskidåkning, mountainbike, forsränning och vandring precis utanför dörren eller bara några minuter på vägen.

Vår stuga är utrustad med allt du behöver för att förbereda ett snabbt mellanmål eller en gourmetmåltid. Trevligt glas, disk, linne, matlagningsverktyg och serveringsstycken gör att du kan njuta av denna bortflykt så mycket som du skulle göra ditt eget hem. Great place

Everything was clean and the place was spectacular. We did have an awd vehicle and had to be pulled out of the drive way by a tow truck since we couldn’t get up the hill but that could be due to a rental car not having the best tires. But the host was very accommodating with a recommendation of who to call and very helpful. Would stay there again without a doubt.

Enjoyed the home!

A very nice home, maintained with care by the owners. We enjoyed the view as well as the nearby mountain stream. Dawn was readily available when we had a minor problem, which was quickly resolved.

Beautiful area

Great little place! We stayed in March and went snowboarding, it was absolutely beautiful. Tons of snow! The driveway is a little steep so make sure you have a vehicle that can handle ice/snow!

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin had everything we needed. Hot tub was great after hikes. We saw moose at the property which was a special treat. We highly recommend the property as it is close to hikes and 15 min to town.

Great location for remote activities.

Quiet neighborhood and beautiful view. Seemed to be so remote but actually very close and convenient to Breck and all that goes on there. We back country skied and snowshoed in the valley. This is the perfect location to get to Quandary Park and Hoosier Pass.

Colorado Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. This was our second time staying at La Barranca. The house is cozy and has everything you could need. We've stayed at many rental properties over the years, and Dawn and Terry are pro's - responsive and accommodating. We would stay here again!!

Fantastic!

La Barranca was such an amazing place to stay. The view of the mountains, wrap around deck, hot tub, fireplace, being tucked away surrounded by pine trees - it was perfect! My wife and I stayed for a week and it was truly lovely. Only a 10 minute drive into town as well.

Excellent rtay in remote, but close cottage

2 Couples had a great time in the mountains. The views were breathtaking and the proximity to town was perfect for our little group. The fireplaces around the home and the hot tub on the deck made it feel so cozy and warm. Was such a delight to be able to have our pups with us as well! Will definitely be looking to stay again!

Picturesque views

Location was perfect for our summer getaway, easy access to hiking trails & town (when needed). Full of amenities for cooking/grilling. Loved sitting out on the deck in the evenings with the fire pit star gazing & listening to the mountain stream. Beautiful setting, exactly what we were looking for in our vacation rental! Grateful that we could bring our furbaby along for the adventure!

This is a nice, comfortable place to stay and get away from it all. The house is amazing!

The house sits in a quiet enclave surrounded by trees. The deck has an amazing view of mountain peaks and the house is amazing. Hosts are easy to work with and very gracious. They really love their property and it shows.

Very cozy and comfortable stay at Dawn and Terry's place outside Breckenridge. Clean as can be. Comfortable beds. Spectacular view of Mount Lincoln from wraparound deck. We would definitely come back to La Barranca.

Great secluded mountain getaway!

This home is perfect for a couple families to share and enjoy privacy in this quaint mountain home. Only a about 10 minutes away from Main Street in Breck. The deck is amazing, decor and kitchen are very nice! We will definitely be using this home again in the near future! LOVED IT!

Wonderful property, very well managed. Everything you need is provided. Outside deck is awesome. The only thing that would make it perfect is if the sofas were more comfortable, but that is minor considering you are in glorious Colorado!

Valentine's weekend 2019

We most enjoyed the spaciousness and warmth of the home. Two parents and two 9 y/o boys, we got to sprawl out comfortably and were just a short 15 mins from the slopes. Much more comfortable than staying in a hotel. I only wish we had the energy to use the hot tub. A memorable weekend getaway for all of us.

Highly Recommend

We really enjoyed our stay, it rained a good bit so we spent more time than anticipated at the house and it was great. The perfect size for me and my wife. Everything worked well and the view from the deck and hot tub is awesome. We will be back...

Avid skiers and outdoor enthusiasts, we love to play in the mountains during all times of the year. We own Environs Residential, a design/build construction company and spend most of our time in Atanta, GA. Terry, a native of Ohio, was a resident of Breckenridge for 18 years prior to moving east. Dawn, a native of Tennessee, has lived in Atlanta since 1988. We love to travel to exciting new places and always look for spots where we can enjoy the outdoors or city culture. In addition to playing outside, we love to cook, appreciate nice wine and entertain our friends and neighbors. Sharing our little slice of heaven in the mountains is especially enjoyable. We love the comments and photos our guests send us after their stay.

Varför värden valde detta boende

It took us 5 minutes in the house to decide to purchase it. A long-time friend of Terry's with whom we were having a beer a the local pizza joint, Fatty's, told us about it and drove us out to the place. Loving the location and of course the stream, we immediatley called another friend and realtor, Stephanie Epps, who got us in to see it the next day. We ended up buying the house along with both lots on either side! We love Valley of the Blue and our quiet street high above Hwy 9. The neighbors are great and the stars at night are magical.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our mountain cottage is only 6 miles down Hwy 9 from Breckenridge. Far enough to have privacy and close enough for a trip to town for dinner. We love the serenity of the mountains, the stars at night from the hot tub and the views of Quandry Mountain from the deck and living room. It's small enough so that a couple can enjoy it to themselves without breaking the bank :-)
