Great fall weekend getaway

My two sons (19 and 24) and I really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed, has a great vibe and the location is perfect. Really beautiful, serene and secluded property. Especially appreciated the screened porch and the two bathrooms which seemed to be more recently updated. Would love to stay here again!

A quiet place in the woods!

We stayed at this rustic home over three nights and really enjoyed ourselves! Highlights -- comfy primary bedroom bed, lovely screened in porch and hammock seat, a fully functional kitchen, nice showers. So many different bird songs! Although it is tucked away in the woods, the property has easy access to Woodstock and to main roads that bring you to other areas of the Catskills.

Peaceful cottage

wonderful house and property. we enjoyed the porch and record player. the yard is also very nice with a fire pit and benches. very peaceful house to relax and enjoy the nature.

Perfect Woodstock Cabin

This is our second time staying at this property and will not be the last. The location to Woodstock's downtown area is perfect. the privacy and peace unmatched. The host is kind and communication great. Thank you so much for a perfect place to stay for our girls trip!

Beautiful property!

This cabin in the woods is super private and beautiful, yet legit 6 minutes from downtown Woodstock. The grounds are wooded and perfect for birding and enjoying nature. Huge deck is great too. The house is so full of character inside and super cozy. It was a little cool for us to enjoy the screened porch but I can imagine eating dinner or enjoying a cocktail out there in nicer weather. The kitchen has everything we needed plus a cozy wood stove. The den was also cozy and we got a kick out of their dvd and vcr (yes, I said vcr!) video collections! The two bedrooms upstairs were more than enough…. The loft bedroom sleeps three. The master bedroom had a comfy king bed and a master bath that we really appreciated. You can stay here for privacy and tranquility yet still enjoy all the town of Woodstock had to offer… highly recommend!

Quiet escape in the woods

Loved this home. Very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful setting in the woods -- so peaceful, but just a 10-minute drive to Woodstock's restaurants and stores. Host Liza was easily reachable. Would definitely go back.

Peaceful, Beautiful, and Relaxing

This was our second stay at this wonderful home and we hope to visit again in the future. We adore the beautiful house, the private setting, and the close proximity to town. The house has everything needed for a vacation stay plus many thoughtful touches throughout that provide a homey feel, including books, puzzles, and toys. The wi-fi is strong and the central air was a pleasant surprise. The screened-in porch with a hanging chair was one of our favorite places to relax. We saw deer by day and heard owls and saw stars at night. Liza’s clear communication and instructions made our stay easy and stress-free. I highly recommend this lovely vacation home.

Nice Stay

My family had a good stay at the house and it had everything that we needed. It was a short drive into Woodstock and only about 20 minutes to Kingston. The deck is so huge we could have had a party there. The grounds are extensive and we enjoyed the firepit. My kids like the swinging chair on the porch and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the heat wave.

Cozy home

Very cozy house. Perfect for a getaway. Loved the quiet with a quick drive to town and all the local sites. Comfortable king bed. Very clean, great quaint screened in porch. Would def go back.

Perfect girls trip weekend getaway

A few of my friends and I were in town for a wedding and were thrilled to find Liza’s property to stay! The location was so peaceful and beautiful and close to the Main Street in town. There was plenty of space for all of us to comfortably sleep and gather. We even enjoyed some of our favorite 90s classics on VHS for a movie night :) Thanks for the great stay!

Cozy getaway

The house was so cozy and full of charm. We loved every aspect. The huge backyard with the ridge was great for the kids to explore. Groups of deer walked through in the mornings making it feel like we were the only people around. Toys for the kids were a pleasant surprise. Make sure you bring wood for the stove - it’s worth firing it up!

Wonderful stay!

We just had the best time at Liza's place. The house was sparkling clean, everything we needed was right there. Communication with Liza was super easy. The house itself is beautiful, the bed was comfy, the bathrooms are wonderful. Honestly, one of the few VRBO experiences that were truly flawless.

Amazing as always

This is our 3rd time staying here and it is always amazing! Relaxing, peaceful, cozy. It’s also a perfect location to everything. Woodstock is 6 minutes away. Saugerties 15 minutes. And all sorts of other activities within a half hour. Highly highly recommend!

Perfect weekend house

Peaceful cosy vacation in Woodstock

We loved our stay at this property. Set in private wooded grounds, all we could here at night were the soothing sounds of nature. Our boys enjoyed playing with the many toys, and videos and we enjoyed exploring the music collection. We took advantage of the grill, swing chair and extensive grounds and fire pit. This was the perfect base from which to explore Woodstock and the surrounding area.

We purchased this home away from home when our children were little and spent many wonderful weekends away in the woods of Woodstock with out the distractions of day to day responsibilities...as our children grew we had less and less time to getaway - We want to share the same sense of peace and relaxation experienced there with others with the chance to stay in our home where many memories were made!

My favorite amenities about this property are it's back deck facing the private backyard and the screened in porch. Both perfect spots to sit and relax. The Master BR is also a PLUS...bright and airy!
