Exklusivt sommarhem som ligger på en bergsdel i staden Green Mountain Falls. Stora uteserveringar med ett stort avkopplande däck på framsidan av hemmet. Detta sommarhem är på ett privat parti som delas med den historiska Green Mountain Falls "Rose Cottage" från 1880-talet. Stugan ligger framför sommarhemmet och är inte upptagen. Dessutom ligger partiet intill Catamount Falls-spårhuvudet som leder till Pikes Peak Catamount-behållaren.
Den övre nivån i hemmet har ett stort stort rum. Detta rum har öppet takbjälkar och trägolv gjorda av 100+ år gammal renoverad virke. Dessutom hittar du en öppen spis, två sittgrupper, platt-TV och antikviteter som ursprungligen hittades i den historiska "Rose Cottage". Köket har bänkskivor i granit och en blandning av moderna rostfritt stål och vintage apparater.
Ett öppet trapphus leder till lägre nivå. Den lägre nivån har 3 sovrum (2 med privata fåfängar) och 1 badrum. Du hittar också en kompakt tvättmaskin och torktumlare och förvaring för handdukar och badtillbehör.

Great getaway!

This was just the getaway we needed. Super quiet, close to hiking trails, and the balcony was the perfect place for casual coffee mornings. We grilled, used the pizza maker, watched tv, chose a jigsaw puzzle and finished it… we wished we could have stayed longer. The host was really patient and super responsive also!

Wonderful area!

Clean; outstanding deck to drink coffee on, watch the sunrise as hummingbirds visit and deer walk by. Love that it’s near a dead end therefore no thru cars to worry about. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Also enjoyed the pickleball court, and found a pond/cute little town right near the front of the neighborhood.

Quiet retreat in the mountains

We really enjoyed our stay, which was peaceful and relaxing. The house provided everything we needed to live comfortably. There are lots of stairs, so it was quite a task to cart bags in and out, but that didn’t diminish our enjoyment of our time at this quiet retreat in the mountains.

Great Cabin

Great little cabin, nice neighborhood. Views are good, the trail behind the cabin is nice and has a waterfall. The stars came out in force at night. And only a short drive to town or Pikes Peak. Exactly what I was looking for our Trip to watch the Hillclimb.

Great Summer Vacation

My family had a great visit to the area and this house offered up the style of home that was perfect for a family hiking trip. Trails right out the back door, convenient to Manitou Springs, the Manitou Incline, Pike’s Peak Cog Railway, Garden of the God’s and much more. The 1 bathroom was a little challenging, but the host’s make up for that will all of the kitchen tools, appliances, grills with propane, and games to entertain. It is a nice, quiet area that you can relax in, enjoying the breakfast on the balcony watching the mule deer and a black bear wandering by. We will recommend to others.

2nd Stay

We love this cabin! Perfect for enjoying the hummingbirds, wonderful hiking all day long them coming back to that amazing view of wildlife. The whole family enjoys it so much!

Perfect match

We loved being nestled in the mountains. The ease of getting to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs while being able to escape the hustle and bustle was wonderful.

Wonderful property

We pulled up at 11pm, and it was tricky to find! We were so surprised at how lovely everything was in the morning, both in the home and in the small Green Mountain Falls area! This area was a unexpected gem! We enjoyed hiking around the house, the trails and old resort lake, the cute restaurant area and just hanging out on the deck! It was our sons first time leaving USAFA since we dropped him off in June, and he loved feeling so far away, but it was only 35 minutes!

Cabin nestled in the mountains

This cabin was great and worked well for our family of 5. Clean and cool with the bedrooms downstairs and the kitchen and living area upstairs. The cabin is nestled in trees and the mountains, so with that come lots of nature. Unfortunately we did get stung by a couple of wasps so be on the lookout. The property is very close to all that Colorado Springs and surrounding areas has to offer. Green Mountain Falls is a cute little town with a great breakfast place called The Pantry. We would recommend this property for your family.

The spacious cabin is conveniently located to Manitou Springs and mountains. There are plenty of dishes and cookware and it is beautifully furnished and decorated.

Perfect Location

Overall we had a great experience, there was plenty of space and supplies. Located at the bottom of a great hiking area. Super cute quiet neighborhood in the mountains. Upstairs got kinda hot but not that bad.

Fantastic location—clean as a whistle!

Our family has vacationed at Green Mountain over the past several years. This year, we luckily booked this lovely spot. All the comforts and amenities you need (or have forgotten, thanks for the bit of sunscreen). Will definitely book again!
