Det är en helt separat, rymlig lägenhet med två sovrum i den lägre nivån av det vackra hantverkshemmet från 1925. Privat ingång. Nyligen renoverad med ny matta, färg och bänkskiva, har det ett stort äta kök, separat matsal, vardagsrum, badrum med badkar och härlig delad innergård. Lätt gatuparkering.

Vårt fullt utrustade kök har ett kylskåp i full storlek, gasutbud, mikrovågsugn och gott om skåp. Du hittar filtrerat vatten i kylen. Matsalen har sex bekvämt.

Det finns två privata sovrum, ett med en dubbelsäng och sängkläder, stor garderob och byrå. Den andra har en fullstor säng med sängkläder, en garderob och en liten låda. Vardagsrummet har en plattskärms-TV med kabel, gott om sittplatser inklusive en lat-pojkstol och en bäddsoffa.

Family Wedding Weekend!

Hi! This was a nice place, but I would not choose it again for a fun vacation getaway with family. It is a basement apartment, so there are no good outside views. It's dark, and the lighting isn't great. There was a patio there, but due to the intimacy of the location and posted rules, we did not feel comfortable hanging out there or inviting any of our relatives to stop by and visit. It was odd to be asked not to park in front of the property as all other parking was in front of the neighbors' homes. It is a shoeless apartment, but there is not a good setup for sitting and removing shoes comfortably on entry. I would only choose this location for work travel, not for a vacation getaway.

Great walking neighborhood

This large basement apartment is equidistant from Rockridge and Temescal districts, offering great options for dining out. The kitchen is well set up if you’re more inclined to eat in, and good groceries are walking distance away. Jeri was welcoming. Instructions for checking in and out clear and simple.

Very comfortable

Great place to stay in a super nice neighborhood. Easy and safe parking. If the weather were just a little warmer we would have spent time outside in the cozy backyard seating area. We hope to be back soon and would definitely stay here again

Good place in good walking neighborhood

Tropical Paradise inOakland

A perfect location for a relaxing vacation. The hosts were wonderful, too. The space was clean and had all the amenities needed for comfort. Taking leisurely walks to College Ave to shop and eat were added benefits to the location. Will definitely be back when we travel here again!

Great stay!

Friends and I were in town for an art show, needed a central place to stay - this was perfect. Jeri is an excellent host. Accommodations were better than we could have asked for - spacious, clean, great art. I would highly recommend.

Lovely walk in basement apartment

- had a lovely stay, very comfortable bed, etc - great gluten free bakery and coffee shop within a 10 min leisurely walk - the host's recommendations binder is amazing, went to the farmers' market on a Sunday, it was lovely - the courtyard is great for having breakfast - bus stop 5 mins away - a few stairs at the entrance, in case that's an accessibility issue -

Terrific location with great patio

My husband and I stayed here with our adult daughter. Terrific communication from host! The apartment is clean and comfortable. We walked to Trader Joe’s for food to have on hand and loved drinking our coffee on the patio before starting our busy days in Berkeley. Easy street parking. We slept so well in this quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay with this host again.

Perfect Stay!

Our family stayed in this basement apartment while visiting friends in the area. It is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out in the courtyard on sunny afternoons. This property has the perfect location. It is close to BART, Trader Joe's and restaurants. We walked and took transit everywhere -- we did not need a car. We felt totally safe walking around the neighborhood and on transit during our stay in Oakland. We would definitely stay here again!

Good location

Clean, comfortable, easy in and out

The host was easy to communicate with and everything was clean and comfortable for our short stay. Not much light in the apt (which is basement level), which is fine if you expect to be out during the days. We were dissappointed there was no hot tub which was listed in the amenities and we had planned around. we each had small space heaters in our rooms/LR, which made it a bit hard to regulate the temperature.
