Vi tror att du hittar vårt hem hemifrån det perfekta stället att varva ner, koppla av och njuta av några av de bästa utomhusaktiviteterna som Colorado har att erbjuda.

Vårt läge skapar en perfekt hemmabas medan vi utforskar överflödet av närliggande alpint / längdskidåkning, snöskor, pulka, vandring, fiske, sightseeing, mountainbike, ATV-spår, jakt och så mycket mer. Eller stanna och koppla av medan du läser en bra bok, utmana din grupp till ett väckande spel Scrabble eller helt enkelt ta in landskapet från det expansiva omslagsdäck.

För er som inte kan komma ifrån kontoret eller känner sig förlorade utan sin Facebook eller Twitter, oroa dig inte ... vi har trådlöst internet åt dig; bra för den här typen av användning.
Glöm inte att ta med dig dina vandrings- eller promenadskor för att promenera de många miles av landsvägar runt stugan. Mountainbike är också ett bra sätt att kolla in i området.
En av de många funktionerna vi har att erbjuda är att helt enkelt kliva ut på däck på en molnfri, månlös natt. Du kommer att bli förvånad över den star upplysta himlen. Försök att räkna antalet skjutstjärnor du kommer att se. Det är svårt att uppskatta de stora himlen mitt i stadens drunknande ljus.

Även om vi har många närliggande platser att äta, kommer du att bo i och förbereda en måltid i det här modernaste köket. Köket är fullt utrustat och har allt du behöver för att förbereda allt från ett litet mellanmål till en fullständig måltid. Sovrummet har eget badrum med jacuzzi, duschkabin, dubbel fåfänga och full klädkammare; du kommer att känna att du har gått in i ett spa.

This place was incredible! Perfectly clean, well equipped and amazing views. Not the easiest to get to - several miles of unpaved roads and not really close to anything. Not a drawback - just an observation. Hosts responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place! Everything about this accommodation was amazing! The stunning view from the magnificent windows and sliding glass doors made our five night stay truly spectacular. This place is the most well appointed vacation home I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay. Within 30 minutes of Buena Vista, one hour to Breckenridge, and 1 1/2 hours to Colorado Springs,and all kinds of outdoor adventures.

This was definitely a five star stay. You can’t ask for a better view of the mountains. The house was very nice and clean with all the amenities you could ask for. The kids loved the downstairs lower level. The weather was great and we spent hours on the deck looking at the views. The hot tub was a nice addition as well. Overall, I highly recommend.

This was the perfect place to spend Christmas! Niki was super responsive to all questions I had prior to our stay. The house is beautiful with ALL the amenities you would ever need. It was warm & cozy, with a beautifully decorated tree for Christmas and even treats for our dog! Highly recommend!!

Amazing stay!

This was a wonderful stay and a beautiful home in a great location! The house was really well equipped for little kids and grown ups alike. The hot tub and the views were amazing! The kitchen was really well stocked and had everything we needed. The owners were super kind and easy to work with! We will definitely come back for another visit.

Relaxing and beautiful cabin

My husband and I had such a wonderful long weekend here. We enjoyed the stunning views and large windows and especially the hot tub looking out at the mountains. The kitchen was perfect with great extras included! We would love to come back here with friends.

Great Retreat

Great place to stay. Nice and quite. Good views. Just wish the road in and out was a little better condition. The road had some serious "washboard" issues when I was there.

Love your place! New rugs, pillows, etc are great. We saw one of the best sunsets from the deck the other day. We enjoyed a couple of soaks in the hot tub. Internet worked great the entire long weekend. We always take turns cooking marvelous meals & the kitchen always has everything we need.

Great vacation home. My family has stayed in this home 3 times in the past 6 years! This home has everything you need for your trip, I mean it’s well stocked, comfortable, and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. The views are outstanding; we saw deer every day and even saw a huge black bear (it went to a home down the street and ripped down somebody’s bird feeder). I had a favor to ask of the hosts and they helped me out without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Happy with our stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We were 6 adults. There is plenty to do in the area, though most of what we wanted to do was at least half an hour away. The plus side of the remoteness is that the view is beautiful and there was tons of wildlife to watch from the (very nice) deck while drinking our morning coffee. Check in and check out were easy, the house is beautiful and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Peaceful Retreat

We spent Thanksgiving at this property. The property was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway from the daily hustle and bustle, this is the property for you. We did not see any other humans the entire time we were there. And the hottub was amazing for stargazing and watching wildlife graze in the pasture adjacent to the property. Highly recommend this property.

We've stayed 3 times now & will probably be back. Such a beautiful, comfortable home. The change of colors made it even better this time! Thanks for all the little extra's like coffee & shampoo & conditioner & Kleenex and spices. The internet worked flawlessly! Enjoyed that you mowed the field. Fewer stickers in my doodle.

Beautiful piece of land

My family and I stayed at this property and enjoyed it very much! We loved having the sliding glass doors open throughout the day, to allow the cool breeze in. The kids had their own area downstairs, while we had our space upstairs. If I had to pick something that wasn't ideal, it would be the sun coming in the upper windows around 5:00 pm, was almost blinding, but this was minor. We also did not enjoy the 12 min gravel road to the property, but that's probably because we live in the city and are used to concrete. Overall, this was a pleasant stay and we would come back.

Hartsel house

House was beautiful. Kitchen not super easy to figure out or use but if you had instructions you’d better off. Garbage disposal did not work correctly, (turned on but did nothing) and the listing stated it had blow up mattresses available, we actually had to go buy one to accommodate our guests appropriately after the owner then told us after arriving the last time they’d seen it it was there but it was NOT. I also had messaged the owner three times prior to trip with these questions and only got one response prior to arriving and questions were not answered or else we would not have had the bed issue…… hot tub was wonderful views were wonderful house was very clean and pretty. Location in the middle of no where. But beautiful if that’s what you want!

Beautiful and relaxing Cabin

This home was absolutely stunning and relaxing with some incredible views from the front room, kitchen and bedrooms. We travel often using VRBO and one thing we have noticed in many, they come with bare necessities for your stay but this home was far from that! It is all in the small details. They had a plentiful supply of everything you don’t want to pack or even the small things you forget, They even had supplies for your furry loved one such as food dishes, leashes and more. We traveled as a family with older kids but noticed they even had small child high chairs, plasticdishes for toddlers, pack n play and so much more, The reason I mention all this is because it truly felt like a home away from home. There have been some homes where they give you a small “starter” kit then require you to purchase the additional garbage bags, toilet paper, etc for your stay. But this Cabin had it all plus some. I do appreciate that we had everything available if it were needed.The home was very clean, relaxing and a perfect fit for our family of 5. The kids had their own little hang out downstairs. The hot tub was another great amenity to enjoy over looking the snowy fields and trees. It was serenity.We would highly recommend this home and will for sure save this as a favorite for another family staycation.

My wife and I bought property in Ranch of the Rockies in 2011, we moved to Colorado full time in 2016. We have loved every single minute of our experience here in this part of Colorado. The people are simply amazing and there are so many things to do within an hours drive that we rarely find ourselves at home just sitting around. In 2019 we purchased this house as part of our future plan, in the meanwhile we would love to share it with you. I know you will have the most amazing stay as we have attended to every detail and are continuing to add conveniences to the house. Enjoy your stay and we looking forward to seeing you again.
