The Cabin at Trout Creek byggdes 2010 och erbjuder dig en fantastisk familj tillflyktsort eller liten grupp retrÀtt. Denna 3000 ft2 stuga ligger pÄ 3 1/2 tunnland med över en miljon tunnland San Isabel National Forest utanför ytterdörren och erbjuder sina gÀster lugn och avskildhet men ÀndÄ lÀtt tillgÄng till nÀstan obegrÀnsad utomhusaktiviteter bara nÄgra minuter bort. Med utsikt i alla riktningar har stugan utformats sÄ att den matchar skönheten i skapelsen som omger den.

Inredningen Àr rustik men ÀndÄ vacker, med en distinkt bergkÀnsla. Till den minsta detalj har man tÀnkt mycket pÄ att skapa en idealisk miljö för en familjesemester eller liten gruppresa. FrÄn lyxiga handdukar till roliga, inbyggda vÄningssÀngar som barnen kommer att Àlska, du hittar stugan har allt du behöver och sÄ mycket mer. Njut av en lugn kopp kaffe pÄ vÄrt 600 ft2 dÀck eller anvÀnd en av cyklarna pÄ fastigheten för att utforska de nÀrliggande cykellederna. Efter en dag med aktivitet, kom tillbaka och njut av ett brÀdspel framför stenpisen, lÀs en bok pÄ loftet eller vÀlj en HD-film frÄn vÄrt enorma urval av DVD-skivor. Stugan Àr avsiktligt utformad sÄ att den Àr tillrÀckligt stor för att semestra med mormor och morfar eller en annan familj, men inte för stor om du Àr en liten familj pÄ en sommarflykt.

Om du vill komma ut och utforska omrÄdet, kommer du att det finns fler saker att göra Àn du har tid till! Buena Vista Àr hem till Arkansas River, som erbjuder forsrÀnning i vÀrldsklass och flugfiske. Det Àr ocksÄ vÀrd för den största koncentrationen pÄ 14 000 fotfot i Colorado och erbjuder spektakulÀr natur och oÀndlig utomhusaktivitet. Den livliga staden Buena Vista ligger bara 15 minuter bort och erbjuder mÄnga aktiviteter, restauranger och affÀrer.

Great family time outside of Buena Vista

My family, my brother’s family, and our parents met here and enjoyed our week. It takes about 20 - 25 minutes to drive into Buena Vista from here. The view from the house is lovely, and there were deer all over the property. The kitchens and bathrooms were well equipped, and there was plenty of space for our group!

Great view

We loved looking out our towering windows at the grasslands and hills. It is a beautiful area, and definitely gave us a "mountain experience". The view of the collegiate range as you come from the north is one of the most breathtaking we've seen in our decades of traveling to Colorado. The house is beautiful on the outside and in. Since this was close to Buena Vista, we did not realize how high the altitude was. I mention this because: 1) In case a guest has breathing issues. 2) We were there in late May, and the winds were rather high and it was cold. We had come prepared for Colorado weather, but this was colder! I'm not sure if it is always like this in May, but if it is, don't count on sitting outside much. : )

Beautiful cabin

It was a beautiful cabin facing a lovely valley. It was peaceful and we felt very safe. The cabin is lovely, it was clean and the host was so accommodating. It was a wonderful weekend get away. We are saving the information for this property to rent it again.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

Our family absolutely loved being together at this property. Our kids (17, 19 & 22) couldn't stop saying how great this place is. It is private, and perfect for families. It has a great little nook upstairs if someone needs to get stuff done. We sat in the living area with a coffee every morning for hours. The view from the living area if more than a photo can capture. Plan time to do nothing here. Nothing turns into something special if you relax and think and talk together. This property is on the edge of National Forest and so perfect for walks with your doggie and exploring. We'll be back.

Although Minnesota is our first home, we have found that our hearts have been drawn to the openness and beauty of the Colorado Rockies over the years. To build and own a cabin in one of the most beautiful places on earth truly is a blessing--a blessing we want to share with others, as well. So much of who we are--our personalities, values, priorities--are reflected in this cabin. Our goal has been to create a place that not only provides peace and relaxation, but that inspires its guests to connect with family and friends, with God and His creation.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The area in and around Buena Vista is amazing--the scenery is spectacular and the activities available are virtually unlimited. Our cabin is only 15 minutes from town which allows easy access to restaurants and shopping, yet offers us the quiet and beauty of a mountain getaway that is so important to us.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

As we built this cabin, we have been very intentional about everything from the location of the land purchased to the smallest detail in decorating each room. For both us and our guests we want the cabin to be a place that has everything we need to either tuck in for a few days without driving anywhere or be a homebase for an activity filled vacation. Rest, beauty, refreshment--that's what we find at the cabin. We hope that you will to.
