Family Vacation Rental

Our extended family rented this home for July-24 vacation and it was wonderful! The home, pool, and grounds were all in great shape. The kitchen came very well stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. The floor plan was perfect for our large family as we were able to have an open floor plan for the main areas while everyone could get away to their own spaces for quiet time. The backyard was great as well. We've stayed at multiple properties in Palmetto Dunes and we've found that most homes don't have much of a yard. So the extra room in the back was a pleasant surprise and made it easy to play games and hang out. The walk to the beach isn't too far but if you rent bikes like we did, it's a breeze to get around the plantation. We loved everything about this home and the plantation and would definitely recommend!

Great location and lovely home

Hilton Head is awesome. Rental property is average

The layout of the home is great for family time. Beds were comfortable. Pool and outdoor space was great for kids and adults. We enjoyed playing yard games and grilling by the pool. House is in a good area.

Decent house for a family gettogether

We were getting together for my mom's 90th birthday. House has a really nice pool, gazebo, kitchen and large dining table. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The only real gotcha is that it is ~1/2 mile from the beach and there is limited beach parking in Palmetto Dunes. The primary reason that we chose this house is that my mom can't walk up stairs and this house has a flat entry with a master bedroom on the ground floor. That worked out perfect for her and us. The house furnishings are somewhat average for a rental vacation house although the living room couch needs to find its way to goodwill.

Great vacation!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed being in this house during our vacay. The house was super clean. All of the amenities such as fresh towels were available for each of the bedrooms. Clean bathrooms as well. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of seating which extended to the dining area. The cabinets were supplied with all of the essentials we needed for cooking. We were able to get only cold water in the kitchen sink area. It took us a few days before we realized it. We reported it to Vacasa and they came to address the issue. Plenty of relax areas throughout this lovely home. Our daughters enjoyed the upper level portion of the house. The pool was a fantastic addition to our vacay as well. Plenty of seating areas too. I do suggest bringing beach towels, beach cart (optional), and beach chairs. If you have any issues walking, you will need to have someone drive you to the beach which requires a bit of walking. There is no parking available so the driver will need to drive back to the house and walk back to the beach. No parking for your bikes as well.(just a heads up). We did have a great vacay!

Golf Base Camp

This property was booked for a Hilton Head golf trip (Jan 2023) and it easily met all of our expectations. More than enough room for each person. We loved the way the kitchen flowed to the dining area and on to the living room. The pool was heated just enough that we could still utilize it on some chilly mornings and evenings. There were a lot of leaves in the pool when we arrived, but that was promptly taken care of after a call to Vacasa. Note to owner...more than just the absolute basic kitchen utensils would be appreciated for those who choose to stay in and cook.

Newly updated rental with accommodating features

Accommodating rental for our family. Walk to beach was longer than expected and no good bike parking near beach access. The pool was only cleaned once (Tuesday) and the Saturday cleaning was skipped. The utensil drawer needs fixed in the kitchen. A larger fridge would be nice too! Otherwise, great stay.

Newly upgraded home

Perfect quiet location. Easy bike ride to the beach. Pool area was the best. The weather was over 90 and sunny all week , so the pool was a great place to hang out after the beach. The great room had plenty of room for games at night or to watch a movie.

Excellent vacation home

Our family of 6 really enjoyed the relaxing comfort of 66 full sweep. It is a beautiful home with an amazing backyard pool deck for meals, swimming and sitting. Riding bikes to the beach is a breeze and the neighborhood is lovely and quiet. Highly recommend staying here for a family vacation!!

Loved the layout of the inside nice setup in backyard, gazebo is nice touch with ceiling fan but should have had alight in it.The furniture in the gazebo had mildew all over it.Loved the pool set up and the furniture looked new but not enough lighting.

The Perfect Vacation House

Our stay here was absolutely incredible!! From the moment we walked in everything looked exactly like the online pictures. The house is located in the Palmetto Dunes Resort community and this made our trip all the more fun. It was a half mile walk from a private beach, had an incredible outdoor pool (with toys), and the kitchen was super spacious with dishes/silverware/pots. I also have to add the house was extremely clean!! It seemed as if no one ever stayed there. The outdoor shower was very handy. I was also impressed that every television was a smart tv and had apps (Disney +, Netflix, Youtube, etc) on it for us to use! All appliances worked perfectly and it was nice to have a wine cooler and washer/dryer. I am looking forward to staying here again!

Perfect family vacation

I always appreciate detailed reviews before pulling the trigger on vacation rentals so here is my list of pros and cons on this house: First, the location was wonderful. The house was nestled on a quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood. You could walk or bike anywhere on the pathways. The house was 0.6 miles from a private beach access point which meant way less crowded beaches which was nice during this time of social distancing. Our favorite part about this house was the outdoor area. We went with several small children and the private pool was perfect. There was a shallow end where they could safely play. There was also plenty of lounge chairs and shaded areas. We were able to eat outdoors everyday (just make sure and pack the bug spray!) The outdoor shower was also a great touch and able to wash the sand off from the beach before going inside. The house itself was newly renovated so everything was nice and clean. With that however, some of the work seemed rushed. The guest bath, the toilet flusher was broken. The backdoor lock was also broken so there was a bar placed in the slider. If the master shower ran, water would leak through the floor boards with each step. We have contacted management so hopefully these things would be fixed before the next guest! There is also no added “extras” left at the location for use. If staying with children you will need your own pack n play. Also we found it helpful to bring beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella. A cart/wagon would also be very helpful to carry these things for the .6mile walk. Overall, we loved our time spent in this home and in Hilton Head!

Perfect Getaway!!

We have stayed at a lot of beach homes and this house was by far the cleanest and neatest house we have stayed at! Owners and rental company takes great care of this home! Very clean and updated! We will for sure be back...
