Sweet Waterfront Efficiency

Looking for a slice of authentic, eclectic Old Florida ambiance? This efficiency serves what is needed to relax, reset, renew. Situated on wide creek/side canal, surrounded by old growth trees, this sweet spot is private, comfy, well equipped and walking distance to many restaurants, microbrewery, parks and only 2 miles to downtown Olde Naples. Grill, kayaks, bikes, off street parking . It is attached to a single family home that has two other units at opposite ends, allowing for maximum privacy for each unit. One is the owner's quarters. Sorry, no pets or smoking anywhere on the property. Smoke travels! We love pets, but previous guests have abused the privilege, so no more! Bungalow and property intended for guests only. We don’t want friends stopping by or being entertained here. There are two other bungalows to be considered as well as nearby neighbors. Low key guests are welcome. Units are licensed with Collier County for short term rentals.
Enjoy walking to nearby coffee shop, yoga studio, Celebration Food truck park, Wine Bar, Art Galleries, boat and SUP rentals, Ankrolab Microbrewery as well as other venues for great food, drinks and live music.

Loved Our Relaxing Stay!

We had a truly fantastic stay at this peaceful slice of old Florida! The room was wonderful - the AC was strong, and the shower pressure was excellent. We especially loved being able to cook our breakfast outside each morning. While we were a little hesitant to use the grill due to its visible rust, there were so many amazing restaurants nearby that it wasn't an issue at all. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the abundance of towels. Our brief interactions with the guests in the other bungalow were pleasant and never disruptive. Karen, the owner, was very kind and always responded quickly to our messages. Would not hesitate to return!

Exactly what we wanted

Property was exactly what we wanted and needed. Tucked away on the canal with a beautiful and deep porch sitting under tall shady trees and bamboos. Visited by a family of Moskva ducks every day it was a quaint and beautifully kept property and just the ticket for what we were after.

Cute well appointed bungalow

I had a great stay. The bungalow was so cute and such great location. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The bed was super comfortable and I had everything I needed or could want. There were beach chairs, bikes, towels, dry boxes and bags. Great stay.

Lovely Location

Pictures are just as it is. We sat at the Canal front and watched the fish jump and birds swim by. It is very close to Celebration Park which we walked to and enjoyed the nightly entertainment and food trucks. It is a shared property with the owner, who was quiet and liked it quiet. There was another couple staying in the adjacent bungalow and we had casual interactions. The weird part is the outside shared porch where you have to go to for glasses/silverware/plates, which were a bit musty from being outside. The sink is out there as well so had to wash dishes there. No stove (hotplate available outside). The rooms could use a de-humidifier too. It was very peaceful and close to a lot of activities. If you don't mind the shared space, well worth the money. The owner put up a For Sale sign while we were there, so may not be available as a VRBO for long.

Never Got In

I was scheduled to have access to the property at 4pm. I hadn't heard from the owner, so at around 2pm of the day of check in I emailed thru the VRBO app. No answer. At 5pm I contacted VRBO. They refunded to money and gave me some credit (kudos for that). I used the credit on another accommodation. So all in all I came out ahead financially, at least.The owner subsequently send an apology and explanation. Ok, things happen, but not a pleasant experience. 2 stars for the VRBO credit and apology.

Great stay

Thanks for a great stay in the Sweet Bungalow. Perfect location to relax & close to wonderful restaurants. I loved walking along Bayshore each morning & rediscovered Sugden Park for walking and Bayview Park for sunsets.

Lovely Little Bungalow

We loved our stay here! It is a very clean and has all the amenities and more than you would ever need. The outdoor living space is wonderful. The bed was very comfy. It is easily located in Naples and very convenient to go to downtown Naples, head north to Bonita Springs and south to Marco Island. Karen is super responsive to messages and we enjoyed the property very much!

Tropical paradise

Such a beautiful outside place to relax and enjoy the sun and breeze off the canal! Also very close to some great restaurants and live music. Easy drive to downtown and the beaches. Would definitely like to visit again.

I had a great time.

Karen was really friendly and quick to respond. The bungalow was neat and clean. I love that it’s non-smoking because I have respiratory issues. It was a nice spot with a dock where you could sit by the water. It was in a nicely private location, but it’s close to the main road so you’re not far from anything you need to do. It also wasn’t far away from the zoo, so I got to do that too. Everything I needed was there at the bungalow. The only thing I didn’t catch when I looked at the listing was that it’s a room with a private bathroom, not a separate dwelling. Other than that, I had a great time here and in Naples. :)

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The neighborhood is close to many wonderful restaurant and venues, as well as the Naples Botanical Gardens. It's an easy 2 mile drive to Olde Naples and 3 miles to the Gulf. It's safe and there are a lot of nice neighbors.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac and opens up like a pie in the back. It is quite private and overlooks a wide body of water, with jumping fish and many bird life. There are some old growth trees on the property that lend some good energy to the property.
