Great location

We had a fun week here. Location was perfect for us. Easy to walk down to the beach and the bike path along the coast was right there. Little market next door was convenient to grab drinking water. A bit noisy early in the morning as it’s right along Highway One but otherwise quiet.

Such a beautiful home in an excellent location

Feels Like Home

We came here for a long weekend last year, and we liked it so much that we came back a year after. The house is well equipped, close to many natural amenities and also close to town.

Mermaid House Visit

Our two young granddaughters absolutely loved the mermaid themed home. We really enjoyed the large comfy couch in the living room. Also enjoyed our nightly visit to the fire pit for s’mores in the private and lovely back yard. Kitchen was well equipped and appreciated the designated bar area and wine fridge area. We were lucky to have nice weather to eat dinners on the lovely porch that included a nice bbq unit, and a kids picnic table. The bathroom remodels are impressive. Kitchen area seating was also ample in terms of seating a larger group. Appreciated having a washer and dryer available. And of course the clean and private hot tub was used each night. The wireless internet service was great. This was the perfect home to host our adult children and grandchildren. We have a fabulous trip. Thank you for giving us this opportunity. Very much appreciate the hard work to renovate this historic home and make it available for us to enjoy.

Wonderful trip

We really enjoyed this house. It was well stocked, soaps, towels, etc. couldn’t find a washcloth for the kitchen, but paper towels did the trick along with the sponge and dish towel. Cooking here was awesome, plenty of kitchen supplies.no heat nor air conditioning but we really didn’t need it. Will look forward to coming back.

The property was perfect for our needs. The only thing we were disappointed in was we couldn’t enjoy the propane for pit due to empty tank.

Great Place!

Wonderful stay

Great property and great location. We loved being able to walk to the beach and to town every day. The house was amazing and the hot tub and fire pit were bonuses. The little store almost next door was a nice surprise to be able grab a few things we forgot!

We relaxed in the Hot tub and made a yummy dinner in the kitchen and the kitchen was nicely stocked and had everything we needed . Love the decor of the quaint home .

Beautiful home

This home was perfect for our two families with four kids. The home had everything we could have asked for. However there was no heating which made for a very uncomfortable stay. The Vacassa team was quick to respond however the space heaters provided minimal heat to keep everyone comfortable.

Girls trip

This is our yearly girls trip to the coast. Our usual house was not available at the last minute and this home saved the day! Plenty of space and very well equipped. We had a wonderful time!

Marvelous Mermaid Manor

This property is just perfect! It’s cozy, adorable, conveniently located to everything and our family would come back again and again. As our little granddaughter said, “Gigi, can we live here forever?” Highly recommend staying here with the mermaids if you can!

Perfect for a Mom's getaway

All six Mom's I brought here for a weekend away from the kiddos LOVED this house. It is very well situated in the area, it has the best kitchen supplies of any house I have ever rented, and it has a great table and perfect gathering spaces inside and out. We were also very pleased by the amazing decor of Mermaid Manor. Thank you for renting us this home.

Mermaid Property

It was an old house but the inside was renovated beautifully. Glass beach was quite a disappointment though. The rest of the coastline was scenic and beautiful.

The perfect rental near the beach

This home is well maintained and loved. The beds are very comfortable and furnished with high quality linens. The home is decorated with an ocean beachy theme and is beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location is so close to the beach. There was plenty of room to relax, cook, and make family memories. We enjoyed the front porch and side patio for relaxing. We felt safe, and it was easy to access entry. We will definitely be back to visit again.

Mermaid Manor is fabulous!

This is our second stay here. The house looks small from the outside, but accommodated our 3 generation family easily. The owners have generously provided everything we needed. For example, there are really nice insulated cups with sippy lids for the little ones - not just a few - lots of them! The kitchen is generously equipped with attractive dishes and glassware. There is a great big dining table for meals. The fam really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the back yard. The house is old, but beautifully remodeled. The heart redwood from the house was refashioned into gorgeous cabinetry and doors. Everything was done tastefully and it's a pleasure to be here.

Great house

The house is big, has a spacious yard with a hot tub and there are horses behind the house. Downstairs master has a super comfortable bed. Loved being able to walk to the State Park and the beach, and only a few minutes away from downtown. Restaurant next door is only good for drinks, food was questionable. Overall we loved staying here and had a great girls weekend.
