Unit 2131: Beautiful one bedroom, one bath that sleeps 4 with a king bed and has a sofa sleeper in the living room. Located directly on the beach with gorgeous views. Sandpiper Cove , a 43 acre resort, has 1100 feet of sugar white beaches that rest against the Gulf of Mexico. Amenities include a 9 hole par 3 golf course, tennis, shuffle board, horse shoes, boat docks, 3 hot tubs, 5 pools, and BBQ grills scattered throughout the complex for your convenience. Boat docks can be rented for an additional fee.

Incredible location and ocean view. Easy check in and responsive hosts. However condo is in desperate need of updates. The balcony is a few hard pushes away from the railing falling off which was somewhat concerning with small children. Cheap bedding and kitchen utensils but has what you need. Washer left weird black oily? marks on our clothes. We left a pack n play in the closet so hopefully it gets left for another family to use and avoid the insane cost of renting one :) would stay again for the location but condo needs some love!

We appreciate your feedback. We update our condos regularly: new wood floors, a new leather sleeper sofa, a new electric La-Z-Boy, and mattresses less than 3 years old. Those are the most recent updates. However, we were not aware of the utensils and washer issue; we will address those immediately. Sandpiper has been contacted about the railing, but the porch has been rebuilt within the last year. We continually give our condos love and hope you come back and visit our condos with those gorgeous Gulf of America views.

Was disappointed in our stay. Here are the pluses of this place. GREAT view, right on the beach, beach chairs and umbrellas for rent, beach bar and grill right on the beach- good drinks and good to come to if you want to come grab something, great location in Destin, great little closed community, quiet, AC worked very well, host was wonderful. Negatives- very run down- needs lots of work- lots of missing paint, lots of very poorly patched drywall, very old appliances, shower didn’t drain very well, shower head didn’t work well, smelled like dog pee when we came in, sheets were very dingy colored, lamps was very old and didn’t work the best and had holes in them, floors wasn’t very clean- lots of sand in corners, lots of dust under chairs and couch, a few towels smelled like dog pee and had to be washed before we could use them. I’m sure this place use to be a very very nice place but just hasn’t been well taken care of over the years. Some things have been replaced/repaired but VERY sloppy.

We appreciate your feedback and your nice comments on the amenities of the condo. The complex is over 40 years old, and we are constantly updating, ie. All new leather sleeper sofa, leather electric Lazy Boy, Televisions, hardwood floors, and a new stove. Whenever there is an issue brought to our attention, we try to replace it immediately. We don't really replace a refrigerator when it works as well as it does. We will be addressing all cleaning issues with house cleaning. If you had seen our previous reviews, you will notice we haven't had less than a 4- or 5-star review for our unit. We hope you enjoyed your stay and would consider staying with the Sandpiper community again.

The view was good. Pets are NOT allowed on the beach there but on the condo grounds they are. The listing said 4 people could sleep but no blankets or sheets for the couch only one light blanket on the bed. So bring extra blankets and sheets. Blender does not work

Wonderful place to stay

The view is beautiful, and there are many activities to do such as tennis, swimming, and golf. The hosts are very nice and aim to please their guests. My 13 year old said she liked it better than any where else we have stayed before in Destin.

The beach is just steps away. The views from the balcony are amazing. The only negative thing is the unit could use a little updating but how much time do you spend in your condo when you are in Destin.

Great closeness to beach

Balcony and view best part of the place. ( Had to clean the sliding door windows to be able to view the beach). Comfortable couch and recliner. Love that it was pet friendly. Very nice restaurant and pools in the complex

Thank you for coming and staying directly with us on the beach! Since we are so close to the beach, the sand tends to blow on the windows. Maid service cleans it on a regular basis.

Perfect little spot!

Condo had everything we needed, clean, and very comfortable. The balcony is literally as close to the ocean as you can get and the walk to the beach on the boardwalk was very easy and doable with 2 kids. The pool with the hot tubs across the street was perfect for unwinding after being on the beach all day.

This was the absolute best view you could have. We could see the whole beach from the windows in the bedroom as well as such a perfect view from the deck.... the high chairs and table were great.... the fact that we had our dogs with us made our so much better as many places do not allow pets.... we got take out each night and ate on our deck overlooking the ocean.... this place is so relaxing.... we came for the ocean views and beach and got 1000% that....we truly were able to rest and rejuvenate. The entire place was very clean. We actually met the owner as he was onsite making updates to the other units he has... so very nice and friendly..... we will definitely stay here again when coming to this area.

Simply wonderful

The apartment is steps from the beach, as advertised, and all we could have hoped for. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay and thank the hosts for their excellent communication to ensure we had the best trip ever! Can't wait to return to Destin!

Perfect spot for our family

There is a Winn Dixie and a Walgreens less than 5 minutes away. We were there about every day. We love that this condo is right on the beach. The view was gorgeous. Perfect for our family of 4!
