Beautiful beach, condo ok

The beach was beautiful. Loved having chairs and umbrellas however if you didn’t get down to reserve a chair by 7:30am you are out of luck! The condo was ok. A little old and beat up but the view was the best. Beach too crowded but my bad for booking during fall break.

Perfect getaway location

The location was perfect. We could walk or take the golf cart wherever we wanted to go. Beautiful gulf view we enjoyed every night. Condo was comfortable and clean.

Wonderful to sit on balcony in the AM before day started, enjoy coffee and listen to the ocean. GREAT location. Management has excellent communication.

Great stay!

This property was SO clean and well laid out! Plenty of storage, nice kitchen appliances and incredible ocean front vistas. The washer is a bit wonky and noisy(!), but cleaned our clothes just fine. My husband and I traveled with our two oldest grandchildren and we all had plenty of room. If you plan to cook (we did!), bring your own knives as theirs are cheaply made and not sharp at all. Itherwise, it was all spectacular!

Very clean and awesome view of the ocean!

We loved our visit to Seaside and really enjoyed staying in this nice, clean condo. Parking and elevator access to the 4th floor was a breeze. Awesome view of the ocean! Only complaint is that the pool is a little small and the large amount of steep stairs it takes to get down to the ocean was not an easy hike for our 79 year old mother-in-law.

Girls Beach Trip

Lovely view with great location

Just what we needed. Right on 30A with easy biking to Grayton Beach State Park (our favorite) and other fun spots. Excellent view and sounds of the Gulf from the patio. Don't bother renting bikes from "Vacayzen" with the credits though. They were crap. Old bikes, tires not inflated and one back tire was wobbly!

Good place to stay, but needs upgrade.

Great location to the beach, restaurants, etc. The incentive to rent bikes, for free, was awesome and appreciated. The unit had good beds and had bathroom upgrades but main TV was small, kitchen supplies were minimal and the vacuum was not good. Benchmark was good to work with and assisted when requested.

Nice place but could be SO MUCH BETTER with just a little effort!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a nice condo in a great location. If the management put like less that $100 into bettering the experience for the customer it would be perfection! Giving 2 laundry pods and 2 dishwasher pods (that dont even work), NO SALT OR PEPPER OR COOKING OIL OR ANY CONDIMENTS!, cooking pans were rusty and warped so bad that you couldn't cook on them, Knives were so dull that you could barely use them. All these things are small details but make such a difference! Also, a HUGE cockroach went strolling across our floor during the stay! YUCK!

Cute place, needs new mattresses

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at BeachCrest for years. Great location, perfect space for 2 people. This was our first stay in unit 406. The mattresses and pillows need to be replaced. Also we got a note form the property management company saying we could check in 30 minutes early for a $65 fee which was tacky considering we rent here often and they no longer provide credits for bicycles.

Attention to details

No face cloths included in clean towels. Had to wait to day after arrival to get face cloths. The floor of the shower stall appears to to be dirty. Sofa springs make horrible noise when we stood up after sitting . Upholstery items need updating. Info sheet containg WiFi password was incorrect. Got correct sign in the next day. Was not given the code to open the gate going to beach and pool area, got code from passing guest. Front door had to be positioned correctly to get dead bolt to go in. Attention to details is important.

Our Stay in Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When visiting Seagrove you are truly in paradise. However, I believe the owners of 406 rely a bit too much on that fact. You rent a condo to have some basic home needs fulfilled. The second bedroom did not have blackout curtains only blinds. It faces the hallway outside which has lights on all night so is not conducive to good sleep. The bed pillows were simply unacceptable. No one expects super high end but what was there was, really useless. The kitchen lacked some basic items like a decent coffee cup or a corkscrew. The main TV in the living room did not stream so unless you return to 2005 with time travel and a DVD the family will need to hang out on the bed to stream a movie. I will say that the managment service was very attentive and as helpful as possible, especially Emily, however, the owners need to be a bit more attentive to basic maintenance.

Beachcrest 406

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was well decorated. The view is amazing. We will comeback to this complex, but not to this unit. The unit could use a good deep cleaning. Baseboard in the master bath were gross. The kitchen knobs to open the cupboards were all sticky to the touch. The starter kit they left had kitchen wipes I was able to wipe down the knobs. I ended up putting all the glasses in the dishwasher, everyone I picked up had lipstick on them. We had a HUGE problem with the televisions, both living are and master bedroom. In the year 2023 not to have HD picture crazy. The streaming was terrible to figure out (no instructions, no channel list). The master bedroom we finally gave on and never turned it on. The Benchmark management company came up, but really was no help at all. We were thankful our weather was perfect, so we didn’t watch much TV.
