Spring Break at Shell Shack

The property was perfect for a spring break getaway—spacious, clean, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed, and the location made it easy to relax and have a great time. I’d definitely stay here again!

EXACTLY what we needed!

We had a wonderful time at the Shell Shack! We needed a beach vacation that offered a relaxing space, but wasn't too far from the convenience of restaurants and grocery stores. The Shell Shack was a perfect fit for our family of 4! The walk to the beach was easy, the setting with the pond in the back was peaceful and rejuvenating. The spices in the kitchen are very well stocked, so when we cooked, it was easy! Our kids loved watching the turtles and fish in the pond, and genuinely wanted to stay forever. Andrea is very helpful and accommodating, and we would be happy to stay at the Shell Shack again when we come back!

Great getaway location

Beach trip

We had a great stay. The property was very nice and clean. We waited through the storm and got to have 3 days in the sun. Where it rained we spent most of the time in the house and we had a great time.

Clean, cozy, close to beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and decorated very cute. We LOVED the sectional- super comfy and it fit all 5 of us for movie night :-) Very peaceful and quiet community. 5 min walk to beach. Beach chairs and wagon were convenient. Responsive host. Would definitely rent again!

Excellent location

Perfect beach house

Ocean Isle Getaway

This was our second time staying at this property and I highly recommend it. It’s a lovely house and so close to the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. The owners have done a great job keeping the place maintained and modern. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vacation spot in this area.

perfect house

We love Ocean Isle and always stay in Island Park - this house was by far the best we have stayed in. The owner was great to communicate with and the house was just perfect. Beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed! Great location - loved seeing turtles, crabs and fish everyday in the lagoon. Will definitely be staying there again!

Beautiful property!

The house is beautiful inside and out. The neighborhood is family friendly. We spent time at the beach and one of the pools. The kids enjoyed watching the turtles in the lagoon Fun was had by all!

Perfect house and location

This home feels fresh and new, equipped with everything you need on vacation. Kitchen is fully stocked, furniture is nice and comfortable, and there's plenty of outdoor seating/lounging areas to enjoy. Beach access is right across the road (less than a 5 min walk) - very convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Ocean Isle!

Great Time

Our family had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend at the Shell Shack. The property was exactly how it was listed. We loved evening walks in the neighborhood and the short walk to the beach. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful Vacation Cottage!

It was everything we hoped for and more! Great location and view. 10 minute walk to the beach. Salt water pool was a nice surprise but lacking any lounging chairs or umbrellas.

The property was neat, clean and very orderly! Every night felt like a home away from home! Andrea's home is close and convenient to the beaches! Everything in the home is in working order and up to date! Had a fabulous time and would highly recommend the shell house for future stays!!

Wonderful home!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Shell Shack! It was very clean, updated and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and the family room very comfortable. The back deck was lovely overlooking the lagoon. We loved how the home was only a short walk to the neighborhood pool as well as the beach. We appreciated the owner’s great communication. Beautiful house and neighborhood!

We enjoyed our time at Ocean Isle and The Shell Shack. The house was attractively decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. I thought it would be a longer walk to the beach but it wasn’t far at all. We would definitely stay there again.
