Family Thanksgiving Trip

Family Beach Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great - walking to beach and restaurants on IOP. The house itself was fine, lots of space and comfortable. The company could do a better job of cleaning- the floors were black when wiping with a towel and there was a dirty dish in the sink. Otherwise, fine stay and nice weekend.

Good location

We enjoyed the location and that you allowed pets. However, the kitchen could have been stocked with staples like salt, pepper, and coffee filters. Overall, it was a good stay.

Perfect location and 🏡. Can not say enough about this management team. They went above and beyond any VRBO I have ever booked . Had one issue with the internet, called them, they transferred me once to maintenance and the gentleman was so patient and told me exactly what to do to reset it . Honestly will not book anywhere in this area without using this management company . The house had extras of everything we needed and literally anything we needed was in a short walking distant . Super pet friendly! Do wish beautiful big yard was fenced due to my work situation with Helene . The beach being a two minute walk and the huge screened porch made us not really even need a fenced yard. It was not advertised with one so I still give it a 10 out of 10 and plan to stay at this house , again in the future❤️

The neighborhood is super cute and the proximity to the beach (2 blocks) and coffee/restaurants was amazing! We appreciated the beach cart provided as well to help lug items to the beach. The home overall needs an update including the furniture.

Family Vacation - Labor Day Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year in a row to rent this property. The first year was for our son’s wedding and we found out that the property was “Pet Friendly”. Since our dog is truly apart of our family, we’ve been bringing the whole family each time! We trailer down our golf cart, park the truck and trailer, and go everywhere on the golf cart (one of our favorite things to do). The property is conveniently located and there is golf cart parking at the nearest beach entry...which is much less crowded. We like sitting on the screen-in porch, drinking coffee in the morning, and grilling something in the evening with a glass of wine. The living room is cozy and the kitchen and dining room has plenty of space for our entire family. We’ve recently decided to make Isle of Palms a “Family Tradition” each year and making Island Realty apart of our extended family! We look forward to our next visit!

Family and friends vacation

Great location, older than pictures reveal

The house was nice but is much older than it appears in the pictures. Deck view was blocked by two large trees and needs stain. If you are someone who needs cold air to sleep, do not rent this house. The first floor master has only one air vent and was significantly hotter than the rest of the house, even the adjoining bathroom. House was also the first beach house ever to not have beach chairs or equipment.

Great location!

This house was in a great location, only two blocks to the beach and 4 blocks from restaurants and shops. The end of the island this beach access is at makes it much less crowded than further down the beach where the public parking is located. The house is spacious and has a great porch to sit on! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice, clean house in a good location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is actually on Palm Boulevard but faces 9th Avenue. It is very close to the beach, and also walking distance from a bakery/coffee shop, a well-stocked grocery store, and other shops and restaurants. Everything is very clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped with cookware and dishes. The layout and furnishings are spacious and nice, and the mature trees keep the house cool. It's also a safe and welcoming place for our dog. This is our second stay at this house and we'd be happy to stay there again.

Short walk to everything we love on IOP - the beach and the bar!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location of this home. Close to shopping, dining and the beach. The lack of yard space wasn't a problem for the dog because of the porches and short walk to the beach. The kitchen could use more forks but is otherwise well stocked with lots of room for everyone to hang out. Our daughter enjoyed walking to get Dole whip in the evenings and the dog loved sunrises on the beach. We didn't need a golf cart this time because of how close we were to the restaurants and shopping. Would stay here again.

Good value and great location!

We had a great time at Isle of Palms. This house is wonderfully located, just a couple blocks from the beach (with a matted beach access, which is nice), and walking distance to coffee and restaurants. It's a very short drive to the grocery store and more food options. The house needs some updates, but overall feels cozy and covers the basics. Only negatives is that there are 2 missing smoke alarms: one in the kitchen and the other in the bunk room. The mounts are there, but the alarms are gone. Hopefully Island Properties fixes that soon! You can also hear a bit of road noise, as you're right next to the connector. Overall, we were happy with the stay!

Great location and very functional beach house

My wife and I and our dog had a great week- spent time at the beach, enjoyed the house- the house was perfect for our needs- great tv room and good internet- had to leave 2 days early due to Hurricane Ian and potential for storm surge- did not receive any reimbursement for those 2 days.
