Classic pet friendly beach house with three bedrooms, two baths and lagoon views. Added sunroom off the living room with an extra twin daybed. Centrally located within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Hardwood floors, outside shower, covered parking, screened porch, access to tennis and community pool! Wireless Internet, but No cable service provided. Living room tv has roku to access your favorite apps, and smart tv's in king bedroom and Queen bedroom. The square footage of this home is 1457sq ft. Linens Included. No Smoking, Pet Friendly. $200 non-refundable pet fee

Reviewer Comments: This home is located in the “Beachside” neighborhood in IOP.A quiet development convenient to groceries and restaurants.This pet friendly home fit the bill for us. Our only complaint is a few of the rooms have peeling paint and could definitely use a fresh coat.

Great location

Fun stay in older home

We had a great stay. The best thing about this place is its proximity to the beach (.22 mile walk). It was lovely.

Great Location

PROS: The best thing about this property is its proximity to a very nice beach access and the pool. There is ample comfortable seating in the living room, a large dining table, the beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. There were plenty of glasses, plates and bowls. CONS: The property is in need of some TLC. It is very tired and dated. There were no steak knives or corkscrew; limited cutlery, coffee cups and pans. There was a broom, but no dust pan. It would be nice if they provided a patio table on the large front deck. It was supposed to have a blender but didn't. However, when I reached out to the property manager, someone brought one right over. We had a great stay at the beach.

Nice layout

Really nice layout and clean. After hours lockbox was a dilapidated mess and would not work so we had to contact property manager who gave us a code. I would have preferred to get the code via email or text beforehand and not wasted this time. When we got to the rental, the code would not work. We had to call PM again. Finally after many attempts jiggling and twisting the deadbolt, we were able to get in. The heat was running at 75 degrees. We had to open all the windows most of the night to get the temp down. Then on the next morning while having brunch, the property manager texted and said I had to come back to the realty office to get the packet and sign. This should have been emailed for electronic signing and not wasted more vacation time especially since it was not our fault we couldn’t do that on our arrival day since the lockbox wouldn’t open. The rental is in desperate need of paint and new, better mattresses. There should definitely be a better lockbox situation and new door lock along with digital door code delivery with contract. Other than that chaos after an 11 hour drive while tired, hungry, and hot, and having to go to the office a second time, we enjoyed our weekend. Also, someone’s packet with all of their information was in the box next to ours and was wide open and unlocked. I wouldn’t have wanted my information available to anyone who walked into the office.

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay here at Sandshell Court 6. The location is one of our favorites here at Isle of Palms. Easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Getting in and out of the neighborhood is also very easy. The house is a great setup for our family to stay at and we love the beachy themes of course. Beautiful new shower area downstairs to wash off all the sand, and great for washing off our puppy after she walked on the beach with us. The only negative I would have is the finishing of the updates. There was one area of the floor that I kept catching my foot on. And maybe the mattress in the primary bedroom could use updated. It wasn’t the most comfortable for my husband and myself.

A Perfect Located Property

Great Location!
