A cute place for a weekend away!

We had such a nice time staying at The Alder and Creektown Cottages. Our group was staying in Grass Valley for four nights on a trip out of town from Oakland, and I couldn’t rate the cabin high enough for amenities, location, and convenience. The cabin was very clean, was thoughtfully decorated, had a wonderful kitchen, and had better water pressure than I have in my shower at home! The cottage was right in the middle of town, convenient to shops and restaurants. We would love to return, but if our group comes back we’ll definitely spring for one of the 2-bedroom cottages, as the bed in the bedroom (which was amazing) was way more comfortable than the pull-out bed in the living room — which was to be expected. Loved the common spaces and the ease of access with the keypad rather than messing with keys.

Felt good to be in the hood

Growing up in the area, we thought we knew every place to stay. This little hidden gem, came to our surprise a few months ago when planning for a visit. We LOVED everything about this place, location, accommodations, and nicely decorated. Ease in check in & out process, was also seamless!

Fantastic stay in Grass Valley!

We enjoyed staying in our Creekside Cottage! Communication with Lore was a breeze. The home was clean and cozy and around the corner from the main/historic downtown area. We will definitely return! Thanks for being dog friendly!

Fantastic

This place was a perfect location for us to explore Grass Valley and Nevada City. The cottage is just fantastic. It is nicely appointed and very clean.

A true gem in the foothills

Absolutely the best place to stay in Grass Valley. The cottages are clean and adorable, centrally located and close to all amenities. We cannot recommend the Creektown Cottages enough.

Craig & Lore are long time residents of Nevada County. Both moved here in the 70's and have raised their kids here and are now enjoying grandkids. They love traveling and spending time with their friends and family. As a contractor and Real Estate Agent they have been a great team together...buying and renovating many homes and commercial buildings. These Cottages are one of their many favorites. You will see the pride in their work in every detail through out this property.
