Denna historiska egenskap, som en gång var den äldsta metodistkyrkan på Martha's Vineyard, byggdes 1846 och renoverades 2009. Fastigheten ligger på ¾ av en tunnland på Lambert's Cove Road och består av 2 714 kvadratmeter öppen planlösning, och erbjuder boende för upp till sex personer och har två bostadshus som erbjuder en perfekt balans mellan gemenskaper och avskildhet bland gästerna.

Prestegården är ett hus med 2 sovrum och 2 badrum med fullt utrustat kök. Franska dörrar öppnar ut från vardagsrummet och matsalen på en rustik uteplats i granit, komplett med sittplatser utomhus, grill och eldstad.

Kyrkan är en master-svit med king size-säng, pentry och badrum med badkar och dusch. Historiska detaljer har bevarats genom hela tiden, inklusive det pressade tenntaket, breda plankergolv och originalbelysningsarmaturer. Till och med klockan i tornet kan svängas! (Dess ton är C #.)

Varje byggnad har sin egen vedspis (förutom strålningsvärme och luftkonditionering).
Tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns i källaren på pastoralen.

Inbäddat mot skogen i pastorala västra Tisbury tar en tio minuters bilresa i vardera riktningen dig till staden. Öster: Vineyard Haven - hem för den ikoniska Black Dog Tavern, Martha's Vineyard Film Center, Cronig's Market och Bunch of Grapes Bookstore, samt öns enda färjeterminal året runt. Wonderful, charming retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Martha’s Vineyard. The church and parsonage property is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed grilling and the luxurious soaking tub. My only complaint is that the bed in the church is a little uncomfortable, seems like the mattress maybe needs replacing. But everything else about the property was perfect.

Stunning!

This property is so well done... I can't imagine what it took to turn a church and the associated parsonage into a luxurious, chic mini compound. The layout of the parsonage is perfect, well appointed, with everything you could want. The finishes are and fixtures are top of the line. Impeccably clean. Just wonderful. The church took my breath away. The listing photos are great but don't convey the impressive volume of space. The unique repurposed oil chandelier, amazing sound system, comfortable TV area, bathroom (with water pressure we could only dream about in the city!) right out of Architectural Digest, and more fluffy towels than anyone could possibly use, and so much more!! We loved this place. Thank you

Fabulous, unique, impeccable property

We and extended family stayed at the Church & Parsonage for a week and we couldn't have been happier. Both properties are beautifully and uniquely decorated, everything was impeccably clean and in working order, and there were so many thoughtful touches (the Aesop arrival boxes, well equipped kitchens, coffee in the Church, comfortable beach chairs, beach wagons). The owner was very friendly and responsive and so was the property manager, who helped us organize a midweek clean between guests and helped with ferry logistics. The property is located a short walk from the beautiful Lambert's Cove beach (on a somewhat busy and narrow road so be careful walking) and near many island attractions and restaurants. Thank you for an awesome week and I hope we can come back again.

Sublime FIRST time on The Vineyard - we will be back!

The Church and Parsonage did not disappoint! Truly a perfect - centrally located property - :10 minute walk to a pristine beach at Lamberts Cove - short drive to your choice of town centers... Oak Bluff, VH or Edgartown. Propertly provides a unique and terrific layout and is furnished tastefully and comfortably. Owner and team made the booking and process seamless and were available when needed - but it's such perfection and so well equipped - we did not need to contact them once we were settled. DEFINATELY would book again!

Luxury and historic charm

We had a great time at the church and parsonage. Plenty of space and privacy. Very close to the beach. Awesome back patio. The owners should be very proud of this property. It is well maintained. Clearly a lot of thought went into the renovation. Historic space and beautiful interior. Easy ride to Vineyard Haven. Thank you for a great stay!

We had an incredible time at Sarah and David’s exquisite home. The property, design, layout and decor were all exceptional. Even though it was rainy weather we had a magical time because their home is so special. We can’t say enough good things and will be remembering the trip fondly with hopes to return!

Perfect Up Island Retreat

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The owners were extremely conscientious in setting up this very special home and we had everything we needed. This property is beautifully renovated and well located near Lambert’s Cove Beach. We hope to be back!

Awesome property

We had a lovely stay at the Parsonage/Church. Everything was top notch, plenty of space for a small party (3), everything worked as expected, and the house offers ample room inside and out to just hang out (and work remotely, if need be). We've always loved Lamberts Cove Road through years and this property has a great location and was a super easy 5-7 minute walk to the beach (which is amazing). The owner (Sarah) was very easy to work with, helpful, and responsive to any questions etc. Can't wait to come back again.

Beautiful spot and perfectly outfitted!

Our stay exceeded our expectations! From Aesop soap, big white terry cloth robes, detailed instructions on use of all the amenities and unique interiors, we enjoyed every minute. Would definitely book again!

Amazing stay at Lamberts Cove Church + Parsonage

We had an amazing family vacation at this beautiful property. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our trip including beach equipment, beach passes, information about the island etc..It is key in MV to have access to the beach, especially if you have young kids, and the walk to Lamberts Cove beach was easy and convenient. We could not asked for a better family vacation!
