Commodore 304

Rooms were very clean. Great view of the Gulf from living room and main bedroom. Huge deck with lots of seating and tables. Furniture was fine. Some pieces are getting beat up but it was ok for a 1 week visit. Overall it was a nice condo and we had a very good time.

Nice place, but….

The view of the beach was awesome! The condo could really use an update. On the chest of drawers some literally fell out when I opened them. We had a few things that needed repair and Vacasa’s people were on it! The worst thing was that the elevator was not working…since November! Vacasa did make us aware of it but it was awful walking up 3 floors with luggage and groceries. Very difficult! There were some elderly guests that were desperately trying to find another place because they could not climb the stairs. The building overall seems in disrepair.

Great location!

We loved the location of the property and private beach access. The home was updated and provided all of our needs. The view from the balcony was 5 stars. Beautiful view of the lake and gulf. The balcony was very large and comfortable.

Beach Vaca

Wonderful condo with a great beachfront location. Loved that we were off the beaten path of Hwy 30 and at a quieter end of the beach. The master bedroom with the beachfront door wall was a bonus (hearing the waves all night ). Would definitely return, just not during spring break, as exploring the neighboring towns proved difficult due to traffic.

Nice view but needs TLC

Spacious two bedroom unit with large balcony and excellent ocean views. Close to restaurants and shopping. Unit is somewhat dated and was not very clean. Floors did not appear to have been mopped and den rug is nasty. Bedding was also subpar. Unit could be nice with some TLC.

Beautiful View

The view in this unit is spectacular. It was nice to wake up and have coffee on the nice, big balcony. It’s also in a good location. It’s close to everything you need and just a few minutes drive or bike ride to seaside and Rosemary. The condo could use some improvements. The kitchen supplies are lacking and very very worn. Most of the pots and pans as well as the utensils were dirty. The drawers the utensils are in are very dirty. There is no WiFi. The TV’s in the bedroom are small and seem to be about 20 years old. The picture quality is terrible. In the summer this wouldn’t be a huge deal, but we stayed over Thanksgiving and it is dark by 5:00. The blankets on all the beds are paper thin, almost as thin as the sheets themselves. The twin beds sheets don’t fit properly and kept coming off. There were no extra sheets and blankets for the pull out couch. We wanted to enjoy our Thanksgiving meal on the balcony. The table is falling apart. The glass could fall out at any time. There is also construction going on all around. Beach chairs don’t come with the unit which would have been nice. Overall the unit was fine, but could use some simple improvements.

Great location

Location was great! Away from the crazy crowds. Property and Beach were beautiful. Only complaint, was our freezer and refrigerator were not working. We were brought a mini fridge the day after we checked in. There was not enough room for our food and drinks. We had to buy ice keep things in ice chests. It was fixed two days after we moved in, but couldn’t use until the third day. We were only compensated $100. Really felt like it should have been about $100 a day compensation.

Great Location!

The location was great and convenient to a lot of areas. The unit itself had renovation construction going on in the next unit over. It was noisy. The place could use some new paint, a good cleaning, and new floors to replace the carpet. They didn't tell us that their was only parking for one vehicle allowed in advance. But, we enjoyed the location a lot. The porch was big and had great views. The place was spacious

A place to be!

Amazing beach side condo! The balcony is large enough for breakfast/meals for the whole family of 6 with beach view!. This place was immaculately clean with 2 spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Ample towels and kitchen amenities. The only thing i would suggest is replace bed covers and pillows, it needs a better comforter or blankets and pillows. This is my 2nd vacasa rental and im impressed again with their service.

The unit was terrific, however there was major construction going on above the unit and this was known in advance. This should have been communicated and we would have chosen a different location. It was so loud, I had leave the unit to have meetings/calls for 3 days. Eventually, the management company (Vacasa) offered to move us for the final 2 days. There should have been recognition of the issue sooner and resolutions presented from the beginning.

Perfect location!

The location of Commodore's Retreat is absolutely perfect! It's at a quieter location of the beach, which I love. We have stayed in unit 304 twice this year. It is fairly recently updated; beautiful white kitchen cabinets and countertops, pretty, good quality furniture. One thing I wish they would do in this unit -- REMOVE ALL CARPETING and replace it with hard surface flooring. Much easier to clean and more sanitary. We will be back to this unit next time!

GORGEOUS views perfectly sited condo

This chic beach condo was just the GREATEST setting for 5 women who rendezvoused for a 40 yr reunion!! You need to load new pics of the Gulf as the ones on website are cloudy overcast ones & just do NOT show the gorgeous TURQUOISE waters and white soft sandy beaches!! The kitchen is VERY well equipped w/ plenty of different sized bowls/cups etc. We found the beachfront location to be convenient and the balcony w/ 4 rockers & full dining set to be a great setting for meals & endless conversations. Condo is also centrally located between Seaside/Watercolor and Rosemary Beach areas. We did not use any of the TVs or any of the tech equipment as one of us brought a little Bluetooth speaker for music. Would go back to this 2br/2ba condo in a heartbeat!!
