Friends weekend in cave creek

We had an amazing stay at Sunbeam in cave creek! The house is perfect for medium sized groups - we had 14 people no problem! The pool and hot tub were a big hit during our stay. Great communication with the host team - hope to be back again soon!

Great Location and Property

We had just a short stay with our work leadership team and the home accommodated the entire team and very easy to get to. Super close as well to eating and shopping. Everyone was pleased overall. The views are amazing!

Beautiful location!! Outstanding property

We stayed for 2 nights over Arizona Bike week and we were nice and close to the venue, yet far enough away for it to be very relaxing. The pool was great and house was immaculate. 2 very generous master suites made it very accomidating for us. Hope to visit again soon!

The house is in an excellent location with wonderful views, access to a very enjoyable golf course and great hiking trails nearby. The home could have been furnished and kitchen equipped with better pots and pans. Management was great. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place

The house was absolutely perfect for our large group. There was plenty of space for our group of 15. The view & the pool are what sold me. Avantstay provided excellent customer service. We occupied all the bedrooms & everyone had the best nights sleep. Our guests found it convenient for hiking & shopping. Our only suggestions revolved around the kitchen, you have to buy absolutely everything. We had a wonderful stay!

Excellent relaxing weekend!

We very much enjoyed the beautiful property! The pool was fantastic and we cooked many many meals! There was plenty of space for the 7 of us! The beds were comfy and the place was very clean! There was a family of little mountain pigs waiting for us when we arrived who had 2 little babies!!! Overall and beautiful weekend and we were all sad when it was over.

Amazing property with gorgeous views

So fortunate to have found this property for our group. The staff was very helpful and immediately answered any questions we had. Very spacious and plenty of room for our entire party with room to spare. The beer and wine fridge was such a plus and large subzero refrigerator was perfect. We took advantage of the beautiful home and prepared every meal in the perfectly stocked kitchen. The evenings were cool and we enjoyed wine by the fire pit. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Beautiful house with a stunning view!

Our girls weekend away was a dream! AvantStay was attentive and helpful every step of the way. We paid for grocery service (highly recommend) and the house was neatly stocked upon arrival. The sliding glass door was broken and they offered to come fix it immediately. The house was beautiful and the view from our patio was breath taking. We can’t wait to come back !

Beautiful views but house needs TLC

We arrived after easy check in. On the surface house was clean but stove, pans, etc needed to be scrubbed. AC unit was being replaced so we commandeered handyman to repair 3 broken beds and replace a broken toilet seat. Bedrooms are sparsely furnished. Master has no closet available. That said, the views are amazing. We lived outside.

Overall amazing - upkeep had missed in some spots

Overall this place was amazing! Views were great, neighbors great and just location met what we wanted. Some of the maintenance side of the property wasn’t as high as I’d expect. Dirty walls, broken toilet seat, really dirty vent fans, and broken beds and some broken outdoor furniture. I know it’s a rental and so those things are to be expected if it’s rented a lot and people don’t respect the property. But we loved it and I would rent again

Great House, Quiet Neighborhood

The house was great as listed. Plenty of space and the pool and hottub were very nice. Our only complaint was we were told the neighbors were hyper-sensitive to noise just a day before our trip. We got a few noise complaints just for playing music by the pool during the day time, we had a sheriff. For such a large house that is listed to host 24 peopl, playing music by the pool should not be an issue. The grill was also should get a good cleaning or replaced as it could not light on its own. Other than those two things this house is a great for a large group and is close enough to Scottsdale for a nice weekend. The property manager was very accommodating leading up to the trip.

BEWARE!!

The property is not as described. Only 5 bathrooms, the infinity pool does not work, the BBQ is dirty and broken, the air conditioner on the bottom floor doesn’t work, as a few examples. The property managers are basically non existent, they don’t address any issues and quite frankly did not care. The property is so dirty, inside and out. we had to change sheets and clean up dead bugs and animals, like a dead rat in the pool. Avantstay is the absolute worst. I will never rent from them again.

Cave Creek Get-a-Away

1st the Negatives...had a leak from the ceiling onto the Foyer floor during our entire stay--Mgt. tried to repair it, but was unsuccessful--The Spa did not operate properly, so we didn't use it--We called Mgt. and it worked for one day--it was more trouble than it was worth... The WiFi was average at best--would go off and on for all of us--For a house of that size, the Family Room should have better furniture--Same goes for the Dining Room table--We had to buy hangers for the closets because there were only 6 total for the 7 bedrooms.... The Positives....It was very clean....great location with wonderful views....The Kitchen was very spacious and user friendly...The Mgt. was responsive, but couldn't resolve the issues previously mentioned. It is a house that will accommodate a large group. Given all the choices, we will look for other properties for our future trips.

Duped!

There were several things about this property we didn’t like. For the money, it was definitely not worth it. We rented this house for NYE/anniversary trip with friends. It looks pretty nice in the pictures and is close to as nice in person, but the amenities were underwhelming. At the end of our stay, we felt that we were misled. The “hot tub” doesn’t get hot, the renters/management refused to heat the pool, and the kitchen was scarcely appointed. The neighborhood is very quiet, so don’t expect to create any type of party atmosphere. There was trash left in the garage from the previous renters. Several of the lights in the house were burnt out. We had so many complaints at about the property that the management company refunded part of our fee. The three star rating is generous.

Good with some attention

Overall our stay was good- the house is beautiful, clean and spacious. The view is to die for! You’ll be required to download an app prior to your stay so just a head’s up on that. There are some things that would make the home great for future guests. - There were no check in or check out instructions provided - There is no welcome binder or instructions to the pool or jacuzzi on how to work anything in the home - The kitchen didn’t have a single hand towel, wash cloth or sponge provided - The kitchen pantry is locked and used as the owners closet... but this is prime location when you have a group of people staying (which is most likely with a house of this size) and owners should use a different closet in the house - There were no sleeping mats provided although they were mentioned on the listing - Jacuzzi barely worked and there are no jets I guess (although they’re visible... no one could tell us how to operate the spa) The management company was responsive but they didn’t always know the answer to how to work things so their help was limited, although they certainly tried.

Definitely Room For Improvement

We rented the property for a month. We were told early checkin would be available, but when we requested that, it was denied because the managers had to complete a full inspection. This seemed reasonable, until we arrived and realized how many things were missed. The one furnace wasn't working and couldn't be fixed. Garage door opener was broken. Fireplaces didn't work. Many lights were burnt out, including outside deck and pool lights. Clothes dryer needed to be fixed. Upon arrival, storage was an issue. The master bedroom closet was locked and was unavailable for our entire stay. The pantry was full of utility supplies with no room for groceries. We reorganized this and the utility closet on our vacation time. There were no dressers in any bedrooms. The furnishings and decor were lacking and needs definite updates. Carpet was not clean. The good news is the location was great. We had a large group of family and the house was able to accomidate all of us. Avantstay made a genuine effort to remedy the many issues, but unfortunately the property needed much attention. We do appreciate the Avantstay representatives and their communication, but this was mostly a result of us having to notify them of so many things.

Disappointed with amount of things wrong

The amount of space was perfect for our family celebration. However this home for the price had many things the owner should know about. On Monday morning, without warning or a knock on the door - a pool man was skimming and adding chemicals to the pool. We were unable to use it after breakfast. Water level was below the infinity edge (very dirty) all weekend. Lime & Green build up on pool walls Broken landscape lights Landscape hung over lounge chairs. Stucco chipped and broken landscape lights. + Nice fire pit area and grill worked well. We used both. Beautiful view. Large enough for my family Front door won’t stay closed unless you lock it. 1sr floor master and a few other places in the house the carpet were dirty. Master entry is really bad. Upstairs king bed room, carpet has tacks sticking out. My brother in law stepped on it and stuck his foot (ps the first aid kit doesn’t have bandaids) Upstairs 2 queen room has a broken window the is covered in cardboard! Unexceptionable! That shower has 3 inches of water in it when they showered. Upstairs lounge bed area does not have any shades, making that area very hard for guest to sleep. All throughout the house needs updated shades! There are broken and missing pieces in practically every room! In the dinning room, it has no widow coverings. You can not block the sun while eating. The kitchen didn’t have any 13x9 pans. The Kitchen NEEDS a larger garbage can & there is not a second can for recycling. Garbage cans in the garbage are too small. TV Remote did not have batteries in it! It took us a day to try and figure that one out. Cords were not professional looking, extension cords etc. (see pictures) Fireplaces - Friday night after returning form dinner, it was chili out. We tried everything to get the main floor fireplace on. We all have them at home. So it wasn’t like we didn’t know how to operate them. Is the gas turned off? Ceiling fans - there are several missing remotes. So if you turn them on, you can’t turn the light off. 1st floor/2 queen room didn’t have a ceiling fan. Plus the rooms broken blinds & being in the side the sun comes up, made the room very uncomfortable. Missing pictures or art throughout the house. All the niche’s had the EMPTY nails! Nail popping and chipped paint throughout. (Wall patching) + the amount of space for our family, kitchen size to cook for all of us. The Pool table was used a lot more than I thought it would. We had fun.
