Great communication, lovely place

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hillside Hideaway. Communication with our host was key - easy check in and plenty of room for all of us. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect!

This house was perfect for us. I appreciated the air conditioning in that it was hot week in Bear Lake. It has a ton of extras and is just super spacious and clean. I also appreciate the Ideal Beach Resort Pass.

Comfortable stay

Everything was as it should have been, kitchen was awesome. All our family enjoyed their stay and would highly recommend this property. The view of Bear Lake was tremendous, and we took full advantage of the Ideal Beach access. We totally enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

Great stay!

We loved our time at the cabin. It was perfect for our big family. Very spacious! Lots of parking! Also, having access to ideal beach resort was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

SUMMER VACATION

It worked well for us plenty of sleeping quarters and the kids had a great time. plenty of parking space, we had a flatbed trailer and several cars it was great. Plenty of space for meals and games for all of us to be together.

Wonderful place to stay

This is a truly a special place and you can see the care and attention to detail that have gone into making it feel like home. We thought it actually looked better than the photos and was larger than we realized also. There was plenty of space for our group of 21 to spread out. It was well stocked. Great communication with owner and no problems with check-in or during our stay. It's a beautiful, more private location and the views are just spectacular (the deck!). We would definitely stay here again thank you!

Wonderful weekend with family over the 4th of July 2024

We loved staying here. The view was amazing and it was very quiet, except for our family inside : ) It was bigger than I thought and the extra family room worked out so well. We had about 7 cars, there was plenty of space for parking. The deck was so fun with the views. We would stay there again.

Family reunion

Perfect Location for Large Group/Family Reunion

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Hillside Hideaway. The views of Bear Lake and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. Beds were plentiful and comfortable. There are plenty of places for gathering groups or taking minute alone. The bathrooms were designed to allow for maximum privacy and to keep lines from forming. We cannot say enough good things about the kitchen; it is far and away the best stocked of any rental I've stayed in. The kitchen also has lots of work space and storage and lends itself well to prepping, cooking, serving, and clean-up. Kids (and adults) loved the foosball table and the outdoor play area. The rental has a couple of TVs that can be used for gaming as well; they are placed well so that there is plenty of room for everyone, but these don't have to be the main attraction. Truly a wonderful space. To top it off, Sam was the perfect host - responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. I really can't say enough good things this about this VRBO experience.

The perfect cabin!

This was the perfect space for our weekend get away. The kids were able to sleep soundly even with adults playing board games and talking loudly. Very impressed with the communication and check in process! Will be booking again soon!

Great View and location

This fit our family well. Great view of Bear Lake at every angle. Short drive to Ideal Resort and the cute little town where there were plenty of shopping, food and fun. Zips was the best Rasberry ShaKe and Fries were so good! We will definitely stay at the Hillside Hideaway again!

Great Layout

Great Layout for a large family. Good options to keep cool in the summer. Just a little confusing about putting clean sheets on the beds since we couldn't find enough clean ones. A little far from the main road. All in all, good place to stay.

Spacious cabin

We loved having our family reunion at this cabin. It was big and had all the things you could ask for. All our grandkids asked if we were coming back next year.
