Beautiful beach holiday for the entire family

This beach home is attractive, livable and pet friendly. There are lots of activities nearby to appeal to everyone, from kids to grandparents.

Beautiful Home!

Beautiful home! unfortunately, the view is blocked by a massive modern home between the beach and the rental home. The house provided us with great room and comfort and the walk to the beach is not far but if you're looking for a view and a walk right out the door to the beach, this one isn't quite there. overall, we enjoyed our stay for the weekend.

The house was clean but we couldn’t use half of the house when all the breakers kept on shutting off. We couldn’t use the showers due to no light, the water heater shut off so cold showers. Do not recommend customer support just said they would let the owner know about the issue and no solution to our problem

Like the most: location, roomy, each bedroom includes private bathroom, plenty of sunlight going through the entire house, large kitchen and living room.Things need to update: dripping kitchen faucet, dirty/stain rugs in living room, broken/old kitchen cookware, old/sunken living room sectional.In addition, the driveway is narrow; the cover parking is challenging to get in even with 2 mid size vehicles.

The house was a bit dingy which I guess made sense that it was dog friendly. The sink in the kitchen wouldn’t shut off and the bedding was sub par. We did however, love how close it was to the beach and check in and communication with the rental company was easy with quick responses. All in all, we enjoyed our time.

The downstairs overhead lights breaker flipped and was out for 2 nights of our trip. We were limited on what we could do by the minimal lamps. Contacted 3 different ways and no one came to help.

4th of July Family Fun

This house was in a great location close to the beach and provided our family with plenty of space. Loved all the bathrooms for our large family as well. A suggestion I would have to say would be to buy some quality kitchen cookware as we tried to cook all our meals and it made it difficult for some of them. But otherwise a great family experience and Rockaway put on an amazing fireworks show!!

Spring break 2025

Our day was pretty good a few minor things I thought the garbage can was full however, I realize now that one was not a recycle. There was a few issues with the cleaning, but otherwise overall we had a lot of fun. I was disappointed that the views that are in the picture or not the views of the house And they cut off our beach access.

Nice place

We've stayed at lots of house on the beach. This house was great with a larger family and was only a short walk to the beach. the biggest bummer was not being able to see the beach from the house. Other than that, it worked really well for us with six kids.

Ants ...

I'm torn on this review - price to value is fabulous! However there were pesky things that I couldn't ignore. This property has a nice spacious living room and kitchen areas, it has lots of bathrooms, two of the rooms are nice and spacious, there's hoses outside to deal with sand, I liked the polish concrete and laminate flooring. However it has ants... everywhere. I'd seen a few and saw the traps but we left a soda can in the kitchen for an hour or so while thinking about if there's recycling and found the can and counter swarming with those annoying little black ants. I hate ants in my living space. If I this had cost any more or the house wasn't as nice this would be 1 star because I hate ants. I texted with vacasa and they eventually sent folks but they weren't that helpful explaining that this is just the way it is. I wouldn't have rented this place had I known it had ants. The place was otherwise reasonable clean except for two rooms with sand and dust issues. I found it annoying I needed to brush my feet off before getting into bed because there was that much sand on the floor. I understand sand is forever like glitter but I don't feel that much effort was put in to cleaning it off those two bedroom floors. At one point I gave up and hand mopped the bedroom floor I was using with my kids. The shower curtain was pink striped with mildew but there wasn't any mold on the ceiling or walls like I've seen other places so perhaps they just missed cleaning the shower curtain before my visit? There were also two walls that were literally fuzzy with heavy dust accumulation but all other walls looked fine so I'm not sure why those two walls were not cleaned. The tub drain was partially blocked so a shower in that one meant standing in a puddle. The garage had some beach things like kites and body boards but it smelled like some animals peed on them. The garage also had a lot of sand in it. Seems odd not to clean that up to help keep sand out of the house. So if you don't care about ants or sand, this is a fabulous property especially for the price.

Roomy for a large family

There were nine of us and it was a fun place close to the beach. A large well equipped kitchen..lots of private rooms and restrooms.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent- especially the Jack and Jill for kids. Both masters were great and the guest bathroom on main floor.

Family Gathering

Great location, easy access to the beach around the corner. Could use a little better cookware (griddle, etc) and larger kitchen garbage can. Otherwise, beautiful home, very roomy and perfect for our needs. Would stay again and recommend this to families.

Overall great spot

Great home for two families! Close for toddlers and kids to walk to the beach, we loved being on the West side of Hwy 101. We had some issues with ants in the upstairs bedroom and bathrooms, but the property manager was very responsive and stopped by to address it (which was much appreciated and made a huge difference!) We would definitely stay here again

Orig check in time was 4 pm. Got a call 4 hours before that we couldn’t check in until 7 pm. Likely because prior tenant had a late check out. Also, found Ants in kitchen. Couch was old and uncomfortable. Wanted to get late checkout but automated response said we had to request it days in advance

Family fun

My husband and I treated our daughters, their hubbys and our grands to a week at the beach, The house was the perfect size for the littles to run around and for everyone to have their space. Easy walk to the beach. Loved it!
