Well maintained ranch with open living/kitchen area and 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. Great location for Letchworth visit and close to shops in Perry. Prompt communication with owner before and during stay. Well equipped kitchen, and nice grounds. Stayed at a hotel on prior visit, glad we were able to stay at the Gate House on this trip!

We booked tbis property for older family while we had a family function at Letchworth State Park. The house was the perfect location. The yard is beautiful and relaxing. The games in the basement were fun for the grandkids when they were visiting. The first floor is set up nicely fir gathering and visiting. It was nice to have everything on one floor. We would definitely book this house again.

Owner thought of everything, I enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and lake and we had a ball in the basement playing pool, ping pong and shuffle board while watching the game. Wished we had booked it for more days, will definitely be back!

Peaceful Family Getaway

Absolutely LOVED our stay! A nice peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of life…and a chance to reconnect with family & nature. House was clean, kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need to cook, beds were SUPER comfy, big yard with amazing views and close to nature, cozy fire pit, an awesome game room in the basement, as well as being really close to Letchworth State Park. Everything was a hit with the whole family, but the pool table & campfires were the biggest hits! Host was super helpful & responsive, as well! All around 10/10 stay! Cannot wait to return!!!

Amazing home

Stayed here to run Sehgahunda Trail Marathon at Lechworth Park. Huge yard, pond, fire pit. Inside was updated and clean. Definitely will stay again next year!

Just the right size

Great place to stay with quick access to Letchworth State Park. Comfortable home for just the right size family. Quite location and responsive host. Highly recommend. Peaceful rural getaway

The house worked out great for us. It was clean, spacious. We enjoyed coffee on the outdoor patio, which is simple but lovely. We listened to the birds and spring peepers. Great location for access to Letchworth Park and downtown Perry (for local eats).

Very relaxing stay

Perfect house for our family to spend time at during spring break. The hiking at Letchworth State Park was amazing with beautiful views. We enjoyed our evenings at the house making dinner, watching movies and playing different games in the basement. Our kids favorite was the shuffleboard. Nice selection of movies, games, cards and chess set. We saw a lot of different animals in the backyard. The birds in the morning were relaxing to listen to. The property is beautiful and very private. The house was clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The large couch was perfect for our family of 5 also. Wonderful memories were made here.

Beautiful Property

The Property was beautiful and well kept considering it's size. We did find a few small things here and there that could have been cleaner but all in all a wonderful property and we were able to have a beautiful rememberance celebration with family while staying here.

Very nice place. Great layout. Nice game room. Beds were comfy. Too cold to explore outside but it looks like there is a nice patio and grill in back.

Bridal Party

The Gate House served as a perfect place for our daughter and her bridal party to get ready for her wedding. There was plenty of room for the six bridesmaids to work with the hair stylists, makeup artist and photographer. The Groom and his crew had fun in the basement game area until the photographer was ready for pictures down by the pond. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to create breakfast for a large crew.

Wonderful property

The location is remote but I guess that is the porpoise of staying here near the park, actually walking distance from Perry’s entrance. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a very enjoyable stay. The communication with owner was great even though we had no issues at all. There were some options for dinning around town and in the next town. I will strongly recommend this property.

Relaxing Weekend!

Came to Letchworth for Cross Country Sectionals, stayed for the weekend with friends from PA at Gatehouse. Location was ideal, property is clean, quiet and well appointed. Played lots of games, had lots of laughs and throughly enjoyed our visit. Will definitely return!

Great Location for our Hiking Trip

We enjoyed this peaceful stop as a home base for our hiking adventure. The home is just feet away from one of the entrances to Letchworth State Park. It was fully equipped for us and we cook every meal. Pots, pans, etc. We slept on the bed with the adjoining bathroom and it was just ok. Plenty of bedding. The washer and dryer were helpful, detergent supplied. Bring in your own soap, shampoo, conditioner as well as your own ground coffee or coffee pods. Paper towels are there, some spices, olive oil and a bit of sugar packets.

Fall trip to Letchworth State Park and Area

The property was clean and comfortable. It was in a fantastic location, adjacent to the beautiful Letchworth State Park and surrounding beauty spots. We had a lovely few days and would definitely stay here again.
