Hilltop Lake house is ready to create your family memories with lake frontage. Come enjoy our spacious 6-bedroom 4-1/2 bathroom house. We also provide two kitchens upstairs and downstairs. We have endless entertainment, pool table, dart board, air hockey, 2-PAC-Man Arcade machines and cornhole. The outdoor Tiki Bar with swings and lounge area invite you to soak in the tranquil lake views, while lake access ensures you're just moments away from all the water sports and fishing Nettle Lake has to offer. This stunning property is designed for year-round enjoyment.

Kitchen: fully stocked with stove, oven, microwave, crockpot, toaster ,and coffee maker with Keurig maker. Bar top that seats 4.

Dining room: Large table that seats 4

Living room: Large sofa with electric fireplace and a 60inch Smart TV with cable. Office table and chair facing the beautiful lake.

Laundry room: Washer and dryer stocked with detergent. Pantry cabinet

Game room: Pool table (please keep covered when not in use and no drinks or food on pool table) Dart board (plastic tip darts) Classic arcade game (pac man, donkey kong, frogger)

Nettle Lake is a all-sport lake, no horsepower restrictions, no wake rule between the hours of 6pm&10am. From 10am until 6pm there are no speed restrictions for power boaters. Fishing, ice fishing, tubing, jet ski, swimming. (there is no beach).

perfect get away!

The lakehouse was absolutely fantastic! Roomy, comfy beds, the outside bar was phenomenal, the view was spectacular as well! The lake is just beautiful! My husband and friends had a great anniversary trip as well as reunion with old friends! Thank you Mario & Angel

Nice housr

We had a great stay for my 12-year-old's birthday weekend. He loved the pool table, air hockey, dart board, and arcade games. The house was comfortable and the bedrooms were nice. We were there in the dead of winter and the lake was frozen over, so we didn’t spend anytime outside, but I'm sure it is lovely in the summer. The house was clean and nicely decorated. We would stay there again.

Family Reunion Stay

We had our kids and grandkids all here for a family reunion and LOVED our stay! It is so tranquil and there is so much space in the home and on the property that you can really relax while looking out over the beautiful lake. We definitely plan to come back!

Nice 2 day getaway

We stayed here for a couple nights during the week in August. Everything was great. We had a fun time using the Kayaks and sitting down by the dock. It’s a small lake but was perfect for the kids to Kayak. The he house was clean and the neighbor we met was very nice. Perfect for a mid week getaway for my wife and kids and another couple and their daughter.

This property was beautiful, even better than the pictures or description. The beds were comfortable. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return. The home is beautifully decorated and a perfect peaceful setting. Highly recommend!

The Swing House

This is our 4th stay! We love the indoor amenities this house offers just in case it rains. The fire pit is beautifully placed on the lake for sunsets! Kayaking in the morning and evening is amazing (the lake is so calm).

Beautiful place and a great view of the lake

We had a great time at the lake with family and friends. The lake house was beautiful and it had a great view of the lake. Everything in the house was gorgeous! The only thing that I would recommend is to put a ladder off the dock to get into the lake.

Family Lake Vacation

The house is large, comfortable, and very clean, accommodating two families easily. The kids loved the game room. This was our 2nd stay and we were thrilled to see the host add wifi for internet and streaming services for movies this year. We also enjoyed having a dock for the pontoon boat we rented, a necessity for a wonderful lake vacation. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Christmas Weekend Getaway

Our family stayed at this beautiful lakeside home for a Christmas getaway weekend. It is close to Pokagon State Park where we went to the Tobaggan Run for a morning of adventure. The home was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The owner did a good job with communicating with us. If you are a coffee drinker there is a coffee pot that requires bottled water only. So make sure to grab some bottled water before your stay.

Family Getaway

The house is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of space for 8 of us. The pool table was very popular with everyone. We also enjoyed the other games. The only concern we had was what outside grass area we could use. A map showing the section of yard between the house and lake that guests could use would be great. There was a newly built fire pit with half wall and seating in front of the dock for #144 that we enjoyed. The dock was very stable and made it easy to access our rented pontoon. Overall I would highly recommend this rental house for other families.

Beautiful Lakeside Home

We spent three nights at this lakeside property, which was beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked with all that we needed for our stay. Bathrooms are lovely and there are plenty of bedrooms to accommodate several people. Also, the common areas provide comfort and entertainment. The only issue we had was that the internet service was down for 24 hours, likely due to a big snowstorm. And when it was restored, the speed was VERY slow. Again, this may have been due to the weather, as I believe the internet service is via satellite. All in all, a wonderful property that I would recommend to anyone.

short get away

Lovely property and lovely lake! Had a very nice time with neighbors and our kids. We enjoyed the kayaks and brought a stand up paddle board to the lake. The lake is very pretty and peaceful--especially early in the morning. The home was clean and well appointed, with nice comfortable furnishings and a beautiful pool table. We could have used some more towels and a few extra sets of sheets for the futons in the 5th bedroom (we used for the kids) but overall we were quite pleased with the property. Note that the dock to use is not directly in front of the property and you do need to walk across another home's property to get to your dock (still very close). Definitely take advantage of the wonderful little store within walking distance for essentials, ice cream, and delicious pizza. We would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful spot for family Christmas

We rented this gorgeous home over Christmas so 3 generations of our family could all be together. Setting was quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views of the lake in the mornings. The home is beautifully decorated with no expense spared and no details missed. There was even a Christmas tree fir us to put our presents around. All bedrooms are on the second level, except for thr kids room, and they are all close together (thr master suites re generous in size but thr smaller rooms are much smaller). The kitchen was well stocked, though bring your own casserole dishes. No wifi (which made it impossible for me to work from there, as I had no cell service with my Verizon phone), but it has satellite TV, video games, pool table and dart board, as well as board games- plenty to keep you occupied and help you 'unplug' for your trip. Winter or summer, this is a great place to stay!

So much fun!

We had a great time and enjoyed the house overall. The TV did not work in the bedroom with the bunk beds but we were outside most of the time anyway so it wasn't a big deal. The coffee maker that was out did not work correctly (I think maybe it needs to be descaled) as the water/ coffee came out in all directions when trying to use the kcup option so we just used the old coffee pot in the cupboard which worked fine. Lastly, there is a pole underwater in the swimming area to the left of the raft/ dock. Luckily, my husband noticed this before the kids jumped in and was able to direct them around it but had he not noticed it, it could have caused some serious injuries had one of the kids jumped on it. Other than the above, we had a great weekend and loved the house! It was so convenient to have the store within walking distance. The washer and dryer is also a great amenity. The furnished sheets and towels also made things really convenient as well. Thanks!

Fun trip for the whole family

We had a great time at this lake house. Our family ranged from age 5 to 60 and everyone had something to do. The arcade, dart board and pool table were a hit. The outside deck was perfect for relaxing and kicking off the college football season. The house itself isn’t necessarily lakeside, but more of a lake view. None the less there is lake access and a designated dock down the way for that lake access (it feels like it is in another houses backyard). Our only “complaint” or issue with this rental is there is an apartment on the top floor of the house. The residents of the apartment in the house don’t have access to the house and kept to themselves during our stay. However, when hanging out in the kitchen or playing pool, you could hear the upstairs residents walking around. For the most part this was a non issue, but it would have been nice to know when renting the property. Overall it was a great trip for the weekend!

Inaccurate advertisement

The property was falsely advertised as lake access When actually, you are crossing other people's property to get to the lake. The grill did not work properly. 3 toilet seats were loose, causing my handicap husband to fall in one of them. The contract stated that hey supplied toilet paper, dish soap laundry soap. We contacted the owner and requested to have more brought. But after 2 days we decided we would purchase it ourselves and not have to make another 20 mile trip to the store. After which they did bring it. One neighbor said they're selling there lake cottage because of the issues with this renter. I am not requesting any type of refund. We did make the best of it. I just thought any future renters should know this.

Nice new lakeview property.

Great property for adults and kids of all ages. A peaceful lake setting. Definitely one of the nicer rentals in this area. Very attentive owner/manager.
