This beautifully decorated and comfortable condo has a wonderful view of Waterscape's tropical garden and oasis and a view of the Gulf of Mexico. The living room opens up to a spacious balcony with pub-height outdoor seating. The condo's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bakeware are provided to complete and serve meals. There is a quaint dining table with seating for four people. This lovely home offers a full bath with a stand-up shower and a washer/dryer off of the kitchen. The open living room houses a queen sofa bed, TV, DVD player, and plenty of seating for your family. The primary bedroom features a king bed with ornamental headboard, private bath, TV, DVD player, and a spacious closet.

Wonderful condo with fantastic views

The condo was clean and inviting. You have wonderful views of the Waterscape pools and of the beach and ocean. You won’t regret staying there. It’s perfect for two people.

Very nice vacation place!

Very nice place to stay! Weather was not very cooperative. Hot tubs were great. Pools and lazy river (the reason I choose this place) were too cool. This was weather related. Would have been nice to have an indoor pool. It was great that beach chairs and umbrella were included with the rental. Would definitely go back!

Great stay!

Family vacation

Perfect size for our family of 4. Great view. The only complaint I have would be better Wi-Fi and a remote for EACH tv that works considering the amount of money to stay there.

Never ending problems at B518 Waterscape Ft. Walton

We loved nothing about the trip. From being told to stand out in the pouring rain with our luggage until they find people to clean the condo, the rudeness of the staff, being given 3 different codes that didn't work to finally a passing maid felt sorry for us and let us in the condo at 6pm. The condo was awful. The shower curtain was hanging on by 3 hooks, ice maker didn't work, washer made a loud noise that sounded like it was going to fall apart and the dryer had rust and debris all over it. One of the chairs on the balcony broke and all 125lbs of me fell to the ground. Lastly, they jack hammered tile over us from the day we got there until we left. We had to go out on the balcony to hear each other. We asked to speak to the manager to no avail. We have stayed at Waterscape many times. We even had our 50th marriage vow renewal there and all the guests praised everything. But the condos we rented were not managed by Vacasa. Never again.

This place was decent.

I wouldn’t recommend this place until changes are made. I gave 3 stars because the Vacasa service is amazing with the texting system. Unfortunately the issues we had always required someone to come into the unit and I wasn’t comfortable with that since we were busy vacationing and not in the room. On arrival the entire condo smelled like fish. I’ve maker doesn’t work. Washer made so much squeeking noise I couldn’t run it while we were sleeping which was very inconvenient with 3 females staying there. The toaster would smoke every time we tried using it. The towels were horrible and left pilling on you when you used them. The sofa sleeper shouldn’t be considered usable. As it was basically sleeping on springs and I know sofa sleepers are not the best but this was horrible. The dryer didn’t dry even on its hottest setting for the longest amount of time (not over filled) waterscape itself is probably good when it comes to budget friendly and families of small children. The facilities like pool chairs and beach chairs are abused. People put towels out and never come back to their spots. Upon arrival you are warned not to do that because a pool attendant will take your stuff if you do. They don’t. We saw 2 of them our whole stay and they weren’t moving stuff. I ended up moving stuff on my own and never even saw the people. I had to wake up at 7am to get a chair on the beach. Both resorts on either side didn’t have a large crowd waiting for chairs. So I won’t ever be staying at this resort much less this particular condo again. The condo has potential if they fix the issues. The Vacasa service was great also.

Your No Frills Waterscape Apt for Couples

What can be said on a positive note is the King bed was comfortable, and the inner courtyard view from the 5th floor was very nice. Kitchen appliances, utensils and cleanliness were good. Otherwise, the interior looked like a rental that hadn't been updated in 10 years. Bathrooms have no significant counter space, unless you consider the toilet tank top a counter. The smaller bath shower was the only way to avoid a shower curtain, and the washer/dry combo looked and sounded like it had been salvaged from a shipwreck. The floors were capable of being cleaned (tile), but no significant effort was made by the cleaners. We won't stay in this unit again, and I would rate it as highly overpriced except for the fact of it's location at Waterscape.

Great vacation spot

We had a really great vacation with mostly minor complaints. The condo was very clean with the exception of one pot and the curtains to the sliding door. Loved that there were TONS of towels! Some people complained in previous reviews about the washer/dryer. They are loud but worked well. The bed and patio chairs are very high. I am 5’4” and the bed comes up to my belly button and I had to roll in from my tippy toes (but the bed was comfortable!), and the patio chairs are difficult to get into if you’re short. My husband is over 6’ and had no issues. The pools/beach area were amazing and the view from the room is great! We spent most of our time there, and never had issues finding a place to sit. We were told a pack n play was not available so we brought ours, however there was one in the closet in the bedroom. If you have a maintenance issue go right to the front desk, don’t bother calling.

Poor condo

Tub in master will not drain, dryer took forever to dry, washer old and falling apart. Decor hodgepodge collection of whatever. Pull out bed had beat to hell 3 inch mattress with rust stains and was horribly uncomfortable and the master practically needed steps to get into and I am 5’7”. Lastly two of the four chairs on patio were broken and iunuseable. For over $450 a night pretty sad. Only 4 in our party and I felt embarrassed to have them sleep on that bed!

Could have been

Loved that I could view the outside pools and the beach from our room. Loved the chairs outside, yet one had a bottom part that kept falling off. Bed was firm & very high off the ground (perfect for very tall persons). Great that B518 has a shower to immediately shower after the beach, therefore I wouldn't get the sand residue into the tub/showering area. Plenty of towels! Yea! Flooring was ceramic. The pillows were flat & stained as if old (I called for new ones); the broom provided was worse than my outside broom at home (I called for a new one); the "one" non-stick frying pan was in pretty bad shape; The TV wasn't wrkg (called for help but they couldn't come till the next day). My husband & I figured it out. Basically, if you need anything, you get it the next day. My check out time was 10 a.m. but the cleaning lady was there at 9:20 a.m. cleaning when my daughter entered to get my left over food I left for her. I will say B518 was clean.

Amazing Time!!!

Clean, comfortable accommodations, Staff was friendly and went out of their way to meet your needs. The beach was clean. and plenty of facility chairs and umbrellas. All the pools and lazy river were well maintained. plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We'll definitely be coming back!
