Unit A412 has a view of the Gulf of Mexico and the Tropical Gardens and Pools. The primary bedroom, second bedroom, and living room open up to a spacious patio with outdoor seating. The condo's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bake ware are provided to complete and serve meals. The dining area has a large table. This beautiful home offers a twin bunk area for extra accommodations. The open living room houses a queen sofa bed, TV, and DVD player. There is a half bathroom located off of the main living area near the bunk room. The primary bedroom features a king bed, private bath with stand up shower and garden tub, TV, and DVD player. The second bedroom includes a king bed, private bath with stand up shower and garden tub, TV, and DVD player. There is a stackable washer/dryer included in the home for your convenience.

Great Place to Vacation with the family!

Quick trip

We were staying in the path of the hurricane and needed last minute plan change. This unit was just what we were looking for. The pools were great for the kids.

Great Vacation

The condo was neat and tidy when we arrived. Check in was a breeze. We arrived after office hours and all the information was provided via text message. Grounds are well kept and maintained daily. Kids loved the pools. We will stay again!

First time, but not the last time

We found this property about two weeks before we needed it. We were very surprised at the availability on the short notice for spring break. Everything was excellent, from the management company’s mobile app and customer service to the home itself. Lots of space and great appliances. I was a little worried, having someone above us, with our condo being on the fourth floor, but it was very quiet, and we did not hear any neighbors at all, which is important to us. Similarly, the 10 o’clock quiet time curfew was well enforced which was great having kids who needed to be in bed before that. The view from the balcony was fantastic of the pool area and the beach. Accessibility to local restaurants activities and shops was fantastic as well, including those within walking distance on the beach.

Looks nice but needs attention

We love going to waterscape but this condo needs updating in a bad way. The ice maker did not work, the carpet feels dirty, the fixtures in the bathroom sink and tub were broken, no batteries in clock or remotes, the toaster was broken too but vacasa replaced that. Just for the money spent to stay there it should be better kept. My family had a great time regardless but this condo needs updating. There was a prior review about the ice maker not working and dishwasher wheels on the bottom rack not working and the owner said it was fixed, but it definitely was not.

Good condo, Needs maintenance.

Positives: The condo was pretty clean, and waterscape has excellent pools and beach access. Negatives: This unit needed some maintenance. The dryer took about 3 hours to dry a small load of laundry. It would get hot, but the clothes took forever to dry. I did clean the lint filter before each load. It’s possibly a clogged exhaust issue. Also, the bottom rack of the dishwasher had broken wheels and the silverware caddy had a huge hole in the bottom forcing you to cram silverware in the remaining spots that weren’t damaged. It was irritating to have to pick up the rack each time I wanted to load a dish in the bottom rack. The mattresses were extremely worn and my teenagers complained the bunk mattresses were uncomfortable. The king bed I slept in had an egg crate on top, which made it better but not super comfortable. I’d stay at waterscape again, but I’d look for another unit next time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and well laid out. The balcony access from the living room and both bedrooms was very nice. I only have one recommendation, take the carpet out. The condo was clean but the carpet felt dirty.

Great two bedroom Condo!

We loved the two king sized beds in the bedrooms and the rooms were spacious. Both bathrooms attached to the bedrooms were spacious with separate shower and garden tubs. Patio view was nice and the fourth floor was high enough to cut down on noise from pools and lazy river. The staff at Water Scape are always friendly and willing to help.

Great Condo, Great Location

This was our first trip to Fort Walton and we didnt know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! The Good: Condo was filled with everything we needed- kitchen supplies, enough toilet paper for a few days, linens. The decor was cute & in decent shape. Condo was clean. Nice table on the balcony for meals. Location was excellent -- easy to get to some great restaurants in FWB and only 10 minute drive to Destin. Grocery store is very close, a couple of restaurants in walking distance. For the number of rooms & families staying at Waterscapes it was quiet after 10 pm. Our condo had Beach Service so we had chairs and a umbrella every day which was perfect. We also enjoyed walking to the pier. The pool areas were clean, the little beach bar was nice to have for lunch and drinks. The "JUST OK": We arrived on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet the next couple days but then it started to get very busy for the Easter holiday. The hot tubs and heated pool were very busy. While we were there, we could only swim in the ocean one day because of the double red flags & it was windy on the beach which could have increased the traffic in the pools/hot tub. We never used the hot tubs because there was so many people in them. Some people stayed in them for hours. It was nice to have a little distance from Destin, but there was definitely more to do IN Destin. If you have small/school-age children, this resort is perfect. We have teenagers who still enjoyed the property but we still ventured out to Destin most days. Could use improvement: Everything needed a fresh coat of paint in the kitchen/dining/living room area of Condo. The couch needs to be cleaned. The hallways of the resort are in rough shape, needs new carpet and paint desperately. We didnt see anyone cleaning surfaces through out the day(railings, elevators, etc) in the common areas which I expected to see more of because of Covid, however I could have missed it because we were on the beach more than in the pool area. There is no life guard on the beach.

Our stay March 24-April 1

I will be writing a review on the website...stating several things. There are pros but were a lot of cons. This condo really needs some updating and everyday supplies. We had to go and buy a platter another bowl there were no hot mitts at all there was one roll of tolie paper on the roll and only one extra in the whole unit. We rented a unit close to the ocean as possible and we were above the hot tub which there were young kids in there until sometimes 12:30 or so at night swearing and yelling the gates banged up until that time and then before 7 they were outside blowing right outside our patio doors and that was on and off and on and off. We had kids yelling and running up and down our halls late at night. They knocked on out doors and put furniture in front of it. Doing things In the hallways like squirting walls with soda. Where are the parents and who watches this place. Didn't see anyone walking around like security ever. The pools were ICE cold so the kids wouldn't even go in them. One pool was heated and that was so full cause everyone went in there. The hot tubs were so gross cause they were so cloudy that who knows what was in them or how often then get checked for chemicals. We were so excited to stay here because our son had stayed here a few years ago and they loved it. They meet up with us here Wednesday and their condo is right next to us. I definitely do not plan to come and stay here in the future if the things that I said above haven't been looked into at all because we surely didn't pay this kinda money to come here and have to deal with this kind of things in a vacation.
