This was a fantastic condo in the perfect location. We've stayed in this complex several times....first time in this specific unit. The three spacious bedrooms with large closets provided more than enough space for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. It was exceptionally clean when we arrived!Gulf Island Condos provide easy access to the beach (directly across the street) or you can walk to the sound side that's right behind the complex. You get the best of both worlds! We will absolutely book this unit with Vacasa again!!

My entire vacation was ruined by dealing with Vacasa (property management) every day to try and get them to remedy. No blankets. No chair service as represented. Local office always closed (it was 2 blocks away from the property). On the phone or texting all day with Vacasa trying to get our chair service, never got it. Vacasa stated they would refund me for chairs and umbrella that I was out at my own expense. Submitted receipts, Vacasa refused to reimburse. One TV completely stopped working.

Great place to stay

This was a last minute trip and the usual homes were not available. I was pleasantly surprised on how nice this condo was. Very roomy. Different styles of beds in each room. We found a bed for everyone to fit their preference. The beach and sound are not too far to walk. Would stay here again.

Very nice condo in a quiet complex. Short walk to the beach and bay area. Everything was just like it is described in the ad. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely

We considered booking the hotel across the street but changed our mind and booked this condo instead. It was the best decision to help our family vacation extra comfortable and extra special. The condo was clean and smelled nice. The beds were comfortable too. We enjoyed having a kitchen, living area plus another bathroom and laundry room....amenities a hotel room would not have provided. The beach is only a short walk across the road with public beach access. We purchased a beach wagon to get our stuff over smoothly. Don't forget to contact Lazy Days for your complimentary chairs and umbrella. They set them up for you every morning. It was nice to have our beach spot already claimed for us before heading to the beach. On our way back from the beach we stopped by the pool to use the shower to wash the sand off us and then took a nice dip in the pool. There is some construction going on throughout the complex. It doesn't provide the best view but it is what it is. Have to fix what's broken and I admire the attention towards upkeep. This was our first time booking with Vacasa. They were very helpful and caring to make certain our stay was pleasant. We will definitely book again and can't wait to go back next Summer!

Convenient and clean

This is my first time staying in a VRBO on the beach opposed to a hotel. This place was bigger than I was expecting. They were just four of us and it was absolutely perfect for us and usually we stay in a hotel but this was half the price!

Weekend Getaway

Gulf Island 534 was the perfect condo for our son's birthday weekend getaway. The location is great with convenient access to the beach. It was so clean! We were so impressed with that and with how easy check-in was. The best surprise was getting free beach setup with umbrella - especially since we didn't pack our beach chairs for the short trip. The Vacasa app was user friendly and gave us all the information needed. We will definitely book through Vacasa again and save Gulf Island 534 as one of our favorites. One note, we wished the pool was open later than sunset :)

Condo for Grandsons Graduation

We got 4 new rolls of toilet paper, enough laundry soap to do a couple loads of laundry. Enough soap to do all the dishes. Close to the beach and the other family that was in town. Swimming pool for the grand daughter. Plenty of towels so you didn't have to wash every other day. Beds slept good to all that went with me.

Mother’s Day

The house is very clean at all and he was in an excellent location
 Very comfortable
 But we did have issues
 The dish washer did not work
 In the garbage disposal did not work
 So the sink was backed up just about the whole time we were there
 And then we went to put our Sandy clothes in the wash machine and wash them and come to find out the wash machine will only fill up with water but it would not go any further
 So we spent half a day ringing all of our clothes out and trying to find someway to wash them other than that the place was really great I just had poor maintenance.

It was decorated nicely. Pack lightly bc you be lugging it up two flights of stairs. The space was well laid out and quiet.

Horrible smell and fleas

The couch smelled horrible and had fleas. It was so bad that we couldn't sit on the couch. The property mgmt treated fir fleas which caused us to have to be out of the house for 3 hours but they didn't clean the couch; said they couldn't have anyone come out until the following week.
