New 4 story Spectacular Ocean View Home.
As one of the tallest homes on the South Side of Surf City, our rental delivers spectacular 180* Ocean Views throughout the house. You won’t be disappointed! The private beach walk over is literally right across the street. No more long walks to the beach lugging your stuff!

The 2nd floor hosts all three bedrooms and 2 baths. There are two ocean view bedrooms; a Queen and a bunk room that share a bathroom. The large Master bedroom is in the back with beautiful views of the sea oaks and garden terrace behind the house. It has a large en suite bathroom with walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash along with toilet paper, hand soap and moisturizing cream are supplied in each bathroom. The rental also has its own full size washer and dryer.

Each floor has it’s own ocean view front porch with large multicolored lifeguard chairs that provide excellent ocean, dolphin and boat viewing. From each porch you can see the private beach walkover right across the street.

The 3rd floor includes the kitchen, dining and living rooms along with a half bath. The huge fully equip kitchen has everything you would hope for including; cookware, dishes and utensils along with dishwasher, microwave, stove, Keurig coffee maker, and huge two door refrigerator. We offer most everything you will need to cook and clean up every meal. Paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap and cleaning supplies are provided as well.

The great room’s dining area has a farm style table that seats up to 7. There is also an ocean view, butcher block counter top coffee bar. The great room also has a convenient half bath. The living room area hosts 2 comfortable reading chairs & a leather sofa & loveseat. It has enough seating for 8 comfortably.

The great room also has a bookcase with a host of family games and books to enjoy. Along with a 54" flat screen TV with ROKU, the entire house has free 1 Gig WiFi for your total entertainment and work needs.

Our indoor Elevator is available upon request for unpacking upon arrival, after grocery shopping and loading up for departure. The outdoor walkthrough private shower is enclosed and has both hot and cold water with plenty of hooks for towels. It is perfect for showering off after a long day at the beach! There is also a Propane Grill provided. Beach chairs, Boogie boards, corn hole, beach sports equipment and beach toys are here for your use. There is enough parking for 3-4 vehicles.

Your hosts live in a totally separate fourth floor apartment with separate entrance and rent the beautiful bottom 2000 sq. Ft, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath House below.

Family vacation

Loved this property and will be returning. The cleanliness was amazing! Hosts were excellent with communication and home was just as described. Perfect views, fully stocked home and close beach access make this a great vacation spot

Great Location

We had an amazing stay at this rental house! The place was spotless—everything was clean, well-maintained, and felt fresh the moment we walked in. It’s clear the owners take great pride in keeping the home in top condition. The best part? It’s just a short walk to the beach! We loved being able to enjoy the ocean anytime without worrying about driving or parking. Perfect location and truly a comfortable, clean getaway. Highly recommend!

Excellent week at the beach, perfect stay!

Peter and Carolyn were excellent hosts and met us upon arrival to go over the check-in process and house rules. The house was so beautiful and immaculately clean. They really go the extra mile to make sure everything is clean and sanitized. The house is also fully stocked with everything you could possibly need or want. We also had access to beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys so you only need to bring your clothes. We couldn’t have asked for a better week at the beach! We look forward to visiting again next year.

Just as described!

The home is exactly as Carolyn and Peter describe. Very clean and comfortable with close, easy access to the beach. This is my first time staying in a home where the owner also lived and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Carolyn and Peter were available if we needed something but otherwise very discreet. We had a wonderful trip and would definitely return! Thank you!

Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

We loved the place! Super clean and easy beach access. Carolyn and Peter were great. Available when we needed them, otherwise you’d have no idea anyone else was there! Would stay here again on our next trip to Topsail. Will be recommending this place to friends and family also!

All the comforts of home at the ocean!

Incredibly clean and offered many items that reduced our packing. Carolyn & Peter are very hospitable and wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Take advantage of their recommendations of places to go and restaurants to dine. Access to the beach was easy for us and the view from our decks were better than expected from the second row.

Wonderful Hosts and Beautiful Home

Carolyn and Peter have a beautiful home and were great hosts. Carolyn responded quickly to any question I had before we even made the trip to North Carolina. Once there, Carolyn and Peter greeted us and gave us a tour of the home. We’ve never stayed anywhere before that provided laundry detergent, dish and hand soaps, shampoo/conditioner, and lots of kitchen supplies including K cups, baggies and much more. We cooked on some evenings and there were tons of kitchen utensils and cookware. Anytime I had a question, I could text Carolyn and she would respond almost immediately. The garage had several beach chairs in great condition plus almost anything else you needed for the beach. During the week, I rarely ever saw Carolyn and Peter. They definitely provide you with privacy. The home was so clean and decorated beautifully. You walked across the road and were on the beach. The beach was never crowded. The only people on the beach were from the homes in that area. We had the best trip and would definitely recommend this rental to anyone!

Cleanliness, comfort, and accommodating hosts

My family and I went to Surf City for a long weekend and were so pleased with our stay at Peter and Carolyn's rental. They are friendly and welcoming hosts, easy to communicate with, and quick to address any issues you may have. We could tell they cared about us having a comfortable, easy stay so we could keep the focus on making family memories. My husband and I and our 2.5 yo and 3mo old daughters, along with my parents, did just that. The main things we loved about the home - - Focus on cleanliness (floors, rugs, bathrooms, shower curtains, furniture, bedding, pillows, you name it - all clean!) - Well-stocked kitchen and laundry room (plenty of supplies provided) - All beds were comfortable and had mattress protectors - So many games - Amazing views of the ocean - Comfortable and sturdy porch furniture and covered decks - All the beach equipment (in good condition!) for our use - Outdoor shower was really nice and stocked with body wash - Felt safe for our baby and toddler (and a baby monitor and baby gate are available for use) We would love to return and stay here again!

Nice property

Really enjoyed the home. It was very clean and in a good location. The views of the beach are better than the pictures can show, and you can easily hear the ocean. We loved everything about the house, and the owners go above and beyond to make sure you don't have to worry about much. Plenty of beach chairs, toys, and they even have condiments and spices available - things that you don't want to pack. The only thing we didn't love was having to go over the rules of the house with the owners as soon as we arrived after traveling two days, the owners communicate house rules over email and are also posted throughout the house. We appreciate wanting to keep your home in good condition, which we tried to be respectful of. It was nice that they made themselves available to help with anything you may need and were helpful with local eateries and things to do nearby. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and the house is beautiful.

Labor Day getaway

Great stay!

Great family trip

This is a beautiful home. Very clean and well stocked with anything you might need on the trip. The Host family is wonderful and so kind and helpful. Views are great and location is awesome to beach, shops and great food. Will definitely stay here again if we visit area again.

Great Fall Getaway

We really enjoyed our fall break weekend at Surf City. The house was immaculate and decorated beautifully. The beach access was literally right across the road and made it convenient for spending time on the beach. Carolyn and Peter were such gracious hosts and were able to accommodate our late evening arrival. They thought of everything...shampoo, body wash, coffee, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience when we chose to stay at their beautiful home. Thanks so much for everything!

Beautiful home on quiet Topsail Island

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Peter and Carolyn's home on Topsail. At first, we thought it odd to have the owners living on the top level of the home while we were there, but we rarely saw them and it also was beneficial when a couple of minor issues arose. The house is very clean--the owners request no "outdoor shoes" inside which does not bother us. The washing machine had a small issue but they plan to replace it soon. The beds are very comfortable and the outdoor shower, which we used every day, is actually in the lower level under the house and enjoys lots of privacy, unlike the setup in other beach houses. Thanks to Peter and Carolyn for making our family vacation so memorable. We will return.

Amazing stay and perfect location!

We had the best week with our family here! The house is immaculate and it had everything we needed for our stay plus more. Carolyn and Peter were a pleasure and made some wonderful recommendations on what to do and see while we were there. We’re already planning for next year!

Beachfront Oasis

This was the perfect property for our family. The cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Very comfortable and beautiful views from every room. We spent much of our time on the porch overlooking the ocean. Carolyn and Peter went above and beyond to make our week a great one! We have a young child and they had a baby monitor, toys, games and a wooden high chair for our use. The outdoor shower made it easy to come off the beach and shower (hot and cold) off our toddler without having to drag sand into the house. Beach access is steps from the driveway and the low-tide had tons of tide pools for children to safely play in. We hope to return again!

Great stay and spotless rental.

We had a great stay. It was directly across the street from the beach and a very short walk. Maybe a 100 yards. We were concerned about having the owner living on the top floor of the property, but they were easy to deal with. We barely knew they were there. They had a sign that sad no excessive drinking, which was defined as 2 beers, but we broke that rule daily. I'm assuming they meant don't get drunk and tear the house up, which I agree with. Their was also a sign not to wear your shoes in the house, but we don't wear shoes in our house, so that was fine with us. I think the rules are reasonable and that is why the house is so nice. I felt like I was at home. It was very nice and spotless. You can tell they take pride in their rental. If you are looking for a party house, that you can get wild in, go somewhere else. Everything was included in our stay to include, shampoo, soap, dishwasher detergent, condiments well everything you would need for your stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. They told us about the island and recommended places to bike, hike and dine. We took their advice and explored the island. The highlight of our trip was the walk around the south end of the island.
