We had such a great time here! It is private and secluded with foliage around it. It has access to the sound and a nice trail. It has it's own private boardwalk to the beach. The host was so kind and responsive. Definitely recommend and we are going to try to book same house next summer! Our dogs also loved it and did great. The screened in porch was helpful for pets! Our dogs also loved the trail and swimming in the sound access!

Great Location and Host

Amazing property! The balcony and views were perfect, especially for this bookworm! Nice and homey with ample room for a family of 5 dog to spread out and relax!

Great location!

Older home that is clean and comfortable with a fantastic location and reasonable price. Love the updated boardwalk this year. We'll definitely stay here again! Thank you for another wonderful family vacation.

Our 3rd visit to Mother Ocean

Our family loves to stay at Mother Ocean. There is plenty of space for everyone to be together and have their own space. We also love being so close to the beach!

Girls trip

Great place to stay. Nice ocean view from most anywhere in the house. The screened back porch was the best for morning coffee and chats. Just a couple of steps to the beach and a little nature walk to the sound. Will definitely try to bring my family to this spot!

End of the summer

This is my third time staying here and I hope to continue to come back every year. We absolutely love the place! We had a great time even with a tropical storm!

Felt like home

This place felt like home! It had the necessities and plenty of room to spread out between the front balcony and the screened in porch at the back. The teens in our group loved spending time on the sound side as well as the beach. It was close to major shopping areas, but not too close! I can’t wait to go back!

An old soul type of stay

This was our second stay at Mother Ocean. We love the layout of the house as well as the vibe. We feel safe and are able to relax and enjoy life while there.

Great weekend getaway

This place had all necessary amenities and was a comfortable getaway. Only inconvenience is the road crossing to access the beach and the speeding cars. Other than that, we will be back!
