Mor Ocean, Paradise, panoramautsikt över havet, privat strand

"Moder Ocean" namngavs efter inspiration från havet och stränderna på Topsail, och livslånga gåvor som de passerar till dem som reser hit. Fastigheten är en del av en familjekanalen som förvärvades 1907 av vår stora farfar, som innehöll cirka en mil från stranden som sträcker sig söder om fastigheten. Havet i närheten av huset och på intilliggande fastigheter är ledig, vilket ger vacker fri utsikt och en privat strand med direkt privat tillgång. Ett däck ligger ovanpå dynerna på havet sida för att koppla av, och stranden visning. Privat tillgång till ljudet är också tillgänglig för kanot, kajak eller fiske ... eller bara för att sitta vid picknickbord och njuta av solnedgången! Huset innehåller tre sovrum och två fulla bad med en ocean skarndäck med swing för att ta i vyn, och en back Uteplats med en fläkt och gunga för en lugn avskild paus i åtgärden. Huset nio bekvämt i sovrummen, och elva inklusive dag säng i vardagsrummet sover. Fly från din dagliga grind och komma njuta av paradiset Topsail Island på denna unika hem !!

Girls trip

Great place to stay. Nice ocean view from most anywhere in the house. The screened back porch was the best for morning coffee and chats. Just a couple of steps to the beach and a little nature walk to the sound. Will definitely try to bring my family to this spot!

Older home that is clean and comfortable with a fantastic location and reasonable price. Love the updated boardwalk this year. We'll definitely stay here again! Thank you for another wonderful family vacation.

Love the location and super clean..just a couple complaints.

Location of property was awesome! Getting into property was easy. Just was missing some things. Had no extra toilet paper..only one roll in each. No dish tabs for dishwasher. No cooking oil. And as far as provided beach items..they only had towels. Had a great stay regardless, just had to purchase things that usual vacation homes have. And on our last day the entry lock stopped working. Had to go in through the back door. Reached out to property owner before stay, but no response.

Great weekend getaway

This place had all necessary amenities and was a comfortable getaway. Only inconvenience is the road crossing to access the beach and the speeding cars. Other than that, we will be back!

Second Time at Mother Ocean!

This was our second stay at Mother Ocean and it was just as wonderful this time as it was three years ago!! Steve is a fantastic host and is very responsive and helpful. The private beach access across the street is so convenient and the beach is beautiful and uncrowded. The whole family had a wonderful time looking for shark teeth (we found hundreds in the shell beds directly in front of the house) and just relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view. We will certainly be back a third time!!

Pictures dont lie.

There were some things about the property that are a bit dated but its easily overshadowed by the views, the location and the beach. It was just what the doctor ordered to just forget about things and focus on what matters most. If the opportunity ever presented itself to return here, I would do it without hesitation. You can not go wrong if you chose this property!!

Mother Ocean made for a wonderful vacation

Excellent location with 2 nice decks we spent hours on. Nice to have some necessities already on hand (toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, etc.). Comfortable furniture in good condition... not the case in other houses we have rented. Only thing I'd recommend is adding additional curtains to keep out the early morning sun and night traffic. Very pleased with the accomodations and price.

Laid Back & Relaxing

Mother Ocean is the best kind of beach house. Laid back, comfortable, and welcoming. Feels like home from the moment you step into the house. I love having all the rooms on one floor, but my favorite “rooms” were the porches. Another favorite feature that we enjoyed tremendously was having access to the sound. We were able to kayak every day of our stay. It was the perfect place for our family last week and we are already planning our trip back next year.

Great older home. With a few cleanliness issues

This is my 3rd time staying at Mother Ocean. It is an older beach home. It has a fabulous view and a new walkway over the beach. They have made some improvements inside. Owner was quick to respond. My issue was cleanliness. I found multiple dirty dishes cups, plates and bowls in the cupboards. Also there were items left in the bedroom drawer that should have been removed. I would stay here again.

Surf City Beach

Great location and loved the private beach. The owner was great with communication and response to issues. The house porches and view were awesome. The house was dated and the appliances were old. There were issues with the AC that did get resolved. The dishwasher is old and the top rack can't be raised to include large plates on bottom. Tried and it fell. Cleanliness was fair.

Great location, house was disappointing.

The view from this house was great. The house needed work. Huge wet spot on ceiling of living room. Needs a deep cleaning. Roaches inside house. Also there was a small assortment of towels no washcloths. Would not stay there again unless major improvements were made.

Great House, wonderful owner

The house was great, but what I really want to express is how the owner is a wonderful man. I rented the house twice for two different times, once in April and again in May. Unfortunately my Dad was admitted to the hospital a couple of nights before we was supposed to go in April than went into hospice and passed away a week before we was supposed to go in May.. the owner refunded my money for the trip in April that we didn’t get to take. We did make it down for the trip in May and it made my grieving process so much better because I had family around me, I wasn’t going to go but I realized it’s important to spend time with the ones you have left. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Can not say enough about how this stay helped me and how wonderful the owner is. Will definitely go back and would 100% recommend this place to family and friends.. Thanks again for making a hard time in my life bearable and sharing such a great place.
